Thus far at San Diego Comic-Con, the clear winner of the Damn This Movie Looks Siiiiiiick award goes to “Mad Max: Fury Road.” The reaction from attendees at the film’s Hall H presentation (part of Warner Bros. and Legendary’s slate) was ecstatic, even by the standards of a rather excitable crowd.

If for some reason you needed any proof of what makes Tyler tick, just check out the (NSFW) Vine he posted on MTV’s account in the early, early morning hours on Friday at San Diego Comic-Con.

And, hey, sometimes that zest for life results in bodily injury. Or, more specifically, a broken toe. To wit:

At least we think that’s a toe. The “Teen Wolf” star says it’s a toe. So we’ll go with toe.

In case there were any confusion, though, Tyler was more than happy to show it off for us during MTV’s live stream, explaining how he sustained the injury while cartwheeling into the “Teen Wolf” panel in Hall H.

“Let me show you,” he said. “It’s disgusting!”

Because history is boring, movies are awesome, and your time is precious, motion designer Pier Paolo has done us all a favor and squeezed 100 years of cinematic milestones into 60 seconds of animation. And he’s done it in simply adorable fashion.

From silent-era slaptick to the heyday of the Hollywood blockbuster, the highlights are here. Watch Charlie Chaplin twirl his cane, Luke Skywalker face off against Darth Vader, and the old dude from “Up” float serenely away.

Making the Dragon’s Egg from Game of Thrones from Rextorn Metalwork on Vimeo.

Lately in “Game of Thrones,” we haven’t been seeing much of Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons as the warrior-queen travels from city to city, freeing slaves and standing dramatically in the wind as her hair whips back and forth.

So lest you forget she is — in addition to being a badass deliverer of lines like “I will answer injustice with justice” — the Mother of Dragons, check out this video showing how the dragon eggs from Season One were actually created.

The Rextorn Metalwork workshop posted the video a few months ago. The egg was made using the techniques of repousse, chasing and metal spinning, whatever the hell that means. But you don’t need to have a PhD in metallurgy to sit back and watch the fiery creation of one of the show’s most iconic props.

Now that “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ has unleashed its web-shooters in theaters and we’ve gotten a chance to check out Paul Giamatti’s maniacal, metal-suited take on Rhino, we’re getting a look at how the villain himself was created.

On his personal website, concept designer Robert O. Simons has posted art he created along with “Spider-Man” director Marc Webb and production designer Mark Friedberg. The photos are beautiful and an amazing peek into how your cinematic superhero sausage gets made.

As Simons writes, “These were the original early concepts for Rhino in the film before we locked down the direction we wanted to go into. Originally we played around the idea of Rhino wearing a suit more so than a mech. As you will see below we wound up going with a mech.”

The close-ups of Rhino’s helmet are doooooope. “After working on the suit one of the concepts had a Helmet design so I started to do more detailed studies of the helmet like the graphics and material make up for it,” Simons writes. “In the end the Helmet was cut from the film so we did not get to far in this design but i still think there is something interesting about them.”

Famous people, like the rest of us, enjoy watching other people beat each other up. Except they get better seats from which to watch the action.

That’s why celebs were out in force to see Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight Marcos Maidana on Saturday night in Las Vegas. Mayweather won a hard-fought majority decision and kept his record clean at 46-0, while outside the ring Jake Gyllenhaal rocked the mountain-man look and Rick Ross was like, “Hells yeah.”
