Despite the undeniable cuteness of the last two “Paddington” movie trailers, they left us all wondering what on Earth this movie is actually about.

Well, according to the third international trailer, the titular bear is just a young fellow from the jungles of Peru who came to London in search of a home.

We learn how this curious talking bear, based on the popular children’s lit character, came to live with the city-dwelling Brown family and even how he earned his beloved moniker.

Through a series of wild teasers, we also learn a bit about our villains. Nicole Kidman’s Millicent reveals plan to capture, stuff and display the marvelous animal, but not without the aid of the Brown’s neighbor.

Paddington, voiced by Ben Winshaw, was originally cast as Colin Firth, who backed out of the picture after deciding his smooth, matured vocals just weren’t a good fit for the precarious young bear.

Despite what you’ve heard about all that free candy, Halloween is really all about those adorable, “SQUEE!”-inducing baby costumes — something Ms. Jenni Farley knows all too well.

This week, the “Snooki & JWoww” star shared a whole lotta such cuteness on her blog, dressing daughter Meilani up for her very first Halloween in not one, but three different ensembles.

JWoww expressed that she’s having a little trouble picking the perfect first Halloween costume for her little girl, so now we get to witness Meilani’s squeezable little cheeks in every outfit imaginable.

“Literally I wanted Meilani to try on a million costumes because she just looked so freaking cute in everything!” Farley wrote on her blog. “I couldn’t [decide] on just one!”

Farley also promised that there will be more costumes to come, and she’ll be posting more photos in the days leading up to Halloween.

Earlier this week Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi told MTV News that she picked up a pumpkin costume for Meilani, although bb Lorenzo and extra-bb Giovanna’s costumes remain a mystery.

Clad in a pair of comfy pajamas and surrounded by her giggling friends and family members, Ariana Grande held a livestream for her fans on Tuesday (October 28), during which she casually dropped a HUGE BOMB OF A REVEAL OMFG right at the top.

The “Love Me Harder” singer told viewers than she’s excited for everyone to hear the song that she has recorded with Lorde and Diplo for the “Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Pt. 1″ soundtrack, saying: “It’s a very interesting song. It’s very different.”

If you recall, the full Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Pt. 1 — Original Motion Picture Soundtrack track list was revealed last week on October 21, with one giant, gaping hole right in the middle labeled “Various Artists — ‘Track 5.’”

With a little investigative work, you can rule Ms. Grande out of every other song on the 14-track album, except for that one.

Lorde addressed the missing track briefly on Twitter, explaining: “the unnamed track isn’t that way because of secrecy’s sake — it’s just not quite finished.”

Well, the proverbial cat is out of the bag now! It sounds like Ariana Grande will be joining the likes of Kanye West, HAIM, Charli XCX, Tove Lo and more of Lorde’s “heroes” when the disc drops this November.

It’s official: Neil Patrick Harris is getting his own variety show on NBC, which is, in a word, absolutely…

The TV series will be an Americanized version of the long-running U.K. favorite “Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway,” which began airing on ITV in 2002.

“As I watched the show, I couldn’t stop smiling,” Harris told Vulture. “Now that I’ve seen many seasons, my face hurts. It’s a game changer.”

He continued: “Nothing like this has been done before, and it’s unique structure fits right into my random skill set. I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves and have some fun!”

The NBC variety show is as-yet-untitled, but network execs confirm it will not be called “Saturday Night Takeaway,” nor will it air on Saturday evenings. (Smart move, given, um, “Saturday Night Live” and all.) It is, however, contracted for a 10-episode run, and it will premiere sometime in 2015.

In the meantime, the “Gone Girl” star will be planning his hosting gig at next year’s Oscars. What an underachiever.

Deric Peace is literally the greatest mind of our time. This guy actually figured out how to turn a regular, ordinary old automatic ice maker into a machine that Willy Wonka himself would co-sign.

When he places his glass under the dispenser, it’s not cubes of frozen water that drop out of his freezer. Instead, he’s blessed with handfuls of still-wrapped, chocolate-candy goodness.. Just watch:

I mean, really, who needs ice when you could have buckets of bite-size candy dispensed at will?! And yes, his set-up can handle the crushed-ice setting.

Just in case it wasn’t extremely obvious, Deric explained what inspired him during a Reddit AMA: “[The idea] literally just came to me the other night, and I said, ‘I don’t really use the ice maker for ice, and I wonder…’

“The next morning I spent about 40 dollars at Rite-Aid, and the woman who checked me out thought I was an idiot. Probably still am, but when I poured in the first batch of reese’s cups, and they just poured out like I hit the candy jackpot, I was beside myself. I love candy, I love making things easier, and making non-useful things (to me) more so. That’s really it.”

The mad scientist also declared he’s never going back to ice again. As for his next life hack, he left Reddit with a cliffhanger ending that we can only HOPE comes to fruition.

It is just me, or has it been a minute since we last heard something new from Imagine Dragons?

OK, it’s not just me. The rock group has long-promised that a follow-up to their breakout debut album, Night Visions, would eventually see the light of day, and with the release of their new song, “I Bet My Life,” it looks like that day is finally coming.

“I know I took the path that you would never want for me/ I know I let you down, didn’t I?/ So many sleepless nights where you were waiting up on me/ Well I’m just a slave unto the night,” frontman Dan Reynolds sings in a bid for forgiveness.

The band has spent the last week teasing new lyrics and their new single’s cover art on Instagram, which they followed up by tweeting: “Back to the studio for us. Good things to come. Very soon. Peace and love to all you wonderful people out there across the world.”

Earlier this year MTV News spoke with Reynolds about the state of Imagine Dragons’ sophomore LP, and the self-proclaimed perfectionist assured they won’t be putting out a full album until they’re completely satisfied with it.

Fifth Harmony have been on their Michelle Obama ish for a minute, and their latest announcement just confirms their boss status. Via a livestream earlier tonight (October 23), they confirmed that the next single off their debut studio album, Reflection, is called “Sledgehammer”!

“If you take my pulse right now, it would feel just like a sledgehammer,” the divas shout throughout the chorus. “If you could feel my heart beat now it would hit you like a sledgehammer.”

“Sledgehammer” takes on a fun pop vibe, vastly different from the girls’ hip-hop banger “Bo$$” and last year’s “Miss Movin’ On.” It’s about the kind of love that just can’t be contained and forces you to let go. Though the girls confirmed this will be their next single, an iTunes release date for the track has not been announced.

There are a couple of adorable mutts in the spotlight today, after they single-handedly (or, umm… single pawed?) took down the latest White House fence jumper on Wednesday evening (October 22). The K-9 heroes Hurricane and Jordan apprehended Dominic Adesanya, 23, of Bel Air, Maryland, after he attempted to punch them, the Washington Post reports.

The two dogs suffered some minor bruising during the brawl, but according to agency spokesman Edwin Donovan they were taken to a veterinary hospital for treatment and have been cleared to resume their posts. The assailant, however, had to be treated for bite wounds before being placed in the U.S. Marshall Service’s custody.

Adesanya was charged Thursday with injuring animals used by law enforcement, as well as one count of knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds.

Representative Jason Chaffetz, who chairs the House Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee on national security, praised the dogs in an interview with the Post.

“I can’t say enough about how valuable they are. I love the dogs,” Chaffetz said, “I hated to see him punch the dogs, but obviously they could take a punch. I was thrilled to see they’re back on duty.”

The Secret Service also shouted out the pups on Twitter, adding that Hurricane enjoys playing with Kong dog toys daily, while Jordan favors walks around the White House.

It’s been two months since the passing of legendary actor and comedian Robin Williams. His daughter Zelda, deeply affected by the sudden tragedy, rejoined social media for the day (October 23) to reveal a beautiful and permanent dedication to her late father. The elaborately detailed hummingbird tattoo rests on the thumb of her right hand, above William’s birth date tattooed on her inner-wrist.

“For poppo. Thank you to the incomparable @dr_woo_ssc for so beautifully bringing my reminders to life. I’ll always put my hand out to shake with a smile,” she wrote on her firstpost since August.

Zelda has been largely absent from social media. She declared a break from the public interaction after becoming the victim of widespread cyber-bulling after her father passed away.
