The FSU Marching Chiefs practically stole the show this past weekend with a halftime performance to be remembered, documented and shared for all the world to see. The band performed a dead-ringer rendition of Bey’s “Single Ladies” without missing a single, beautiful step.

Tonight (October 17) the world witnessed the premiere of MTV and LOGO TV’s “Laverne Cox Presents: The T Word”, a documentary following seven transgender youths and revealing their trials and triumphs. The revolutionary special was followed by an hour-long open forum discussion with the stars of the show where they were able to dive deeper into their struggles and answer fan’s questions.

A heartwarming and celebratory response was echoed throughout the Internet in gross support of the T community.

Tears were streaming.

A community was empowered.

Hope was running rampant.

The sexy lyric video for Ariana Grande‘s “Love My Harder” that totally SHOCKED mama Grande has finally arrived.

The lyric video is styled as a sultry collection of bedroom boudoir photos and scenes from the Weeknd’s basement appearance. Grande shared some her mother’s off-put remarks after seeing the clip earlier this week, commenting, “When I get you moaning???? That’s what he’s saying?”

After the duo performed the song “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend, the pop star posted a snippet of the soon-to-come Alfredo Flores-directed video. Wearing a leather skirt and crop top, Ariana joins The Weeknd in a dimly lit underground stairwell to sing the third single off her My Everything alubm.

An official drop date for the full-length music video is yet to come, but as Ariana promises it will be “soon.”

“Lord of the Rings” actor Ian McKellen dropped in on the students of Chew Valley School to discuss LGBT issues as a part of the institution’s StoneWall UK work. The actor used his platform to not only engage the students to remain involved in the community, but delighted them with repetitions of his most-famous “LOTR” line.

“In your preparation for your examinations, if you don’t do your revision properly, YOU SHALL NOT PASS!” McKellen shouted to a hungry group of schoolchildren.

And what the great wizard Gandalf commands, you shall obey.

“It is a day that they and I will never forget,” said headteacher, Mark Mallett. “Sir Ian was a gracious guest at the school and an impassioned evangelist for tolerance and equality. I can think of no better creed for our young people to take from their school careers into their lives as citizens as they go from here to contribute to the future of our society and country.”

McKellen is also a founding member of Stonewall UK, a charity formed in 1989 that currently stands as the largest LGBT rights organization in Britain.

In the weeks since Kris and Bruce Jenner officially filed for divorce, it seems Bruce has found his own way of coping. Reports are brewing that the former Olympian is now dating his soon-to-be ex-wife’s best friend and former assistant, Ronda Kamihira. And if that’s true, Ronda is probably a soon-to-be ex-best friend as well.

Kamihira and Jenner were first spotted in public on October 4 at an Elton John concert in Los Angeles.

The end of the Jenner’s 23-year-long marriage has taken a public toll on daughters Kendall and Kylie. Kendall began posting Instagram throwbacks of her parents in happier times shortly after the papers were filed.

Kris cited “irreconcilable differences: as grounds for divorce, although a source close to the family told People that the split was mutual.

“They both did it together,” the source said. “It’s all done and there’s no drama or messiness. They worked out all details over the last few months.”

Hopefully both parties are able to move on amicably, at least for their children’s sake. Still, if Bruce is dating Kris’ best friend that might make the transition a tad more difficult.

President Barack Obama found himself in an all-too-familiar middle class pickle last month when his credit card was decline at a fancy New York City restaurant.

But don’t worry, the President’s credit is doing just fine. The charges were refused as part of an automatic security feature of his bank. Washington Post reports that Obama explained the embarrassing incident while signing an executive order to create the new Consumer Financial Protection Board –a body that serves to prevent consumers from identity theft.

“I went to a restaurant up in New York when I was — during the U.N. General Assembly, and my credit card was rejected,” Obama revealed. “It turned out I guess I don’t use it enough, so they thought there was some fraud going on.”

Thankfully, first lady Michelle Obama had her plastic cash on-hand to save the dinner at Estela.

“I was trying to explain to the waitress, you know, I really think that I’ve been paying my bills,” Obama said. “Even I’m affected by this.”

Reports claim that Mr. President typically deals cash-in-hand and doesn’t care much for borrowed spending. Just last June Obama was noted saying that he only carries money and a driver’s license in his wallet.

Calvin Harris is kicking it old school with his new music video for “Slow Acid.”

The latest track released off of Motion drops both the vocals and the radio-friendly pop sound of his recent hits, returning to EDM’s more Prodigy-esque roots.

The clip also has a certain “Smack My Bitch Up” quality to it, as it follows a silver-painted woman on an all-night bender, complete with blazing guns and a convenience store robbery. Coupled with the pulse of the music, it’s all pretty trippy.

“Slow Acid” takes a wide turn away from Harris’ recent singles. The VMA-nominated “Summer” topped the charts with its feel-good beats and catchy melody, and the soulful “Blame” featuring John Newman was equally ready-made for radio.

As Harris recently revealed, Ellie Goulding, Gwen Stefani, Tinashe, Haim and Big Sean will all appear on his fourth studio album. Motion drops November 4.

If there’s one thing we know about Miley Cyrus, it’s that she’s always down for more tattoos. While in Australia for her Bangerz Tour, the pop star tapped Aussie tattoo artist Lauren Winzer of Hunter & Fox Tattoo to lay down some fresh ink on her and her crew.

The “Adore You” singer opted to refresh some of her more worn-down hand tats, and she added a few extra charms to her digits, too.

Miley’s hand tats are like the Lucky Charms of our wildest dreams hallucinations.

The alien head and watermelon slice appear to be new additions, while the heart symbol was glitter-ized and the evil eye restored to its former glory.

Miley’s heart ink was the first to appear on her hand, and it represents the bond the Cyrus family shares. (Everyone in the fam has a copy of it.)

You’ve come a long way since stick ‘n’ pokes, baby.

Winzer (wisely?) handed her tattoo gun over to Cyrus, which makes her the second tattoo artist brave enough to allow Miley to permanently ink up their skin. Earlier this year, Miley gave New York City’s Bang Bang a crescent moon on his thumb.

As college tuition rates in the U.S. continue to climb higher and higher every year, Germany is switching things up by offering you a degree for free.

No, that is not a typo. According to Fusion, Europe’s leading lederhosen enthusiasts decided last week to open up the floodgates for everyone, international students included, to attend any of their public universities at zero charge. Zip. Zilch. Nothing. Nada. Not a penny, nor a euro.

However, even a freebie comes without a few caveats. Before you start booking your flight to Munich, here are a few things you should consider doing.

1.) Get fluent in the language.

Don’t expect the professor to slow down class because you can’t decipher a verb tense. Just like international students on our home turf, you need to understand the words that are coming out of their mouths. For a free, yet actually effective resource, check out Duolingo.

2.) Secure your living quarters.

German students typically live at home while attending university, so dormitory space is very hard to come by. Think of all German campuses as “commuter colleges,” and find yourself a rental.

3.) Find your niche, now.
