Jennifer Lopez’s “Booty” remix featuring Iggy Azalea may have only just dropped today, but the Australian rapper has already begun teasing the song’s music video on Instagram. Judging by the preview, which she posted on Instagram, there will be lots of booty featured in the final clip — you know, in case you assumed otherwise.

To back it up for a sec, J.Lo first revealed the “Booty” remix on an episode of “House Of Style”, and she made a second announcement while introducing the “Black Widow” rapper’s performance with Rita Ora at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. Lopez told the crowd that she “was a fan of this girl since she was grinding on mixtapes” — back when Iggy started from the bottom, if you will.

How did Ed Sheeran celebrate his 2014 MTV Video Music Awards win for Best Male Video? By pouring a bucket of ice-cold water over Courteney Cox’s head, duh.

OK, so the “Cougar Town” actress was actually taking the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (I know, I had never heard of it either) after being nominated by former “Friends” co-star Jennifer Aniston on August 24. Speaking of nominations, Cox chose actress Isla Fisher and Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody and Johnny McDaid, which makes sense seeing as how McDaid is her fiancé.

Selecting Ed, who took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on August 18, as her ice-bucket wingman makes sense, too — despite how random it seems. The “Sing” crooner was actually the one who hooked Courteney up with Johnny in the first place, and he’s apparently spent many a night crashing at the actress’ California beach house.

So, the Courteney-Ed connection all makes sense now, right? Nope, still random. Dump that ice bucket!

Nick Jonas had quite the night at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, and I’m not just referring to the award-worthy selfie he took with Demi Lovato and his girlfriend, Olivia Culpo. The onetime member of the Jonas Brothers also got to meet Lorde, at whom he later tweeted his congratulations for her Best Rock Video VMA win.

The “Royals” singer took this opportunity to flex her comedy muscles, but I feel like she probably should have warmed up with some comedy bench-presses first. Or maybe some comedy squats. Like, even just a leisurely 0.5-mph spin on the reclining bike with the TV hookup. #NoJudgmentZone

That insane collaboration between Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj wasn’t the only team worth celebrating at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. The audience was filled with couples, bands, BFFs, and favorite families who basically redefined the very meaning of the word “bae” every time they flashed across our screens.
