Then again, it’s just as possible that Nicki’s filming a clip for the scathing “Chi-Raq” featuring Lil Herb, something I definitely wouldn’t be mad about in the slightest. It’s been over a week since Rihanna reportedly deleted her Instagram account, but that Rihanna pain just won’t let up. We didn’t know what we had until we lost it, you know? Oh, wait! We did know because @badgalriri was literally the greatest gift that the world had ever been #blessed with, and NOW. IT’S. GONE.

How could “The Monster” singer just do that to us? Can the Founding Fathers simply “delete” the Constituion? What next? Will Jesus pop down to #BOOP the Bible?! PROBABLY NOT, so why is Rihanna allowed to do the same?

Earlier today (May 14), Beyoncé responded to the controversy surrounding that controversial elevator video of Solange fighting with husband Jay Z by Instagramming a series of photos of her and her sister looking super cute and sisterly.

Speculation may still abound over this story, but at least we know for certain that the Knowles sisters’ bond remains intact. Another thing we can glean from this? Probably the undeniable truth that the “Pretty Hurts” singer is still the reigning queen of shutting the media down with a perfectly timed, well-executed Instagram upload. You see, this isn’t the first time Bey’s stopped the rumor mill from, um … milling? Check it out.

Tuesday night, M.I.A. dropped a track called “Baddygirl 2 — MIA PARTYSQUAD BEYONCE FLAWLESS REMIX” on Twitter, tweeting: “Beyonce camp has not replied for months > SO HERE >.” It looks like the “Double Bubble Trouble” rapper had been trying to collaborate with Beyoncé for a while, and we all know how much M.I.A. loves playing the waiting game.

Despite the inclusion of the word “FLAWLESS” in the song’s full title, “Baddygirl 2″ doesn’t appear to feature any easily recognizable bits of the BEYONCÉ track — well, except for a verse that kicks off with “I woke up like this/ I went to bed like this/ We do everything just like this.” Don’t worry, though, because from the insane, frenetic production to the “Diva” sample at the end, there’s plenty to #BowDown to.

As we’ve seen before, M.I.A. isn’t one to sit idly by while bureacracy slows her roll. Remember that time when she threatened to leak Matangi unless her label, Interscope, gave the album a release date? I mean, it totally worked, though…

In any case, M.I.A. really couldn’t have picked a better time to do something controversial and Beyoncé-related. Someone knows her SEO!

That elevator video of Solange, Jay Z, and Beyoncé — maybe you’ve seen it? Well, allow me to put on my sensible myth-buster’s pantsuit, because there are some beyond questionable non-truths circling around this story that need debunking.

Maybe you’ve seen a headline like “Solange Purged Beyoncé From Her Instagram” or “This Appears to Be the Only Photo of Beyoncé Left on Solange’s Instagram” tweeted and retweeted throughout your social-media circles?

Well, I traced the story back to its origin: SheKnows, which reported on Monday that the “Losing You” songstress had been “deleting all traces of her sister” in response to the fallout. Their proof? The following photo, purportedly the only one of Beyoncé that remains.

Or so they claimed. A quick moderately time-consuming scroll through Solange’s feed reveals that there are at least two more photos of her big sis left untouched.

The point is that there is more than one photo of Bey on Solange’s Instagram, which contradicts the story as it has been reported and re-reported and re-re-reported ad nauseum on Tuesday (May 13).

A breezy R&B jam that Austin apparently wrote in his bathroom with buddy Robert Villanueva, the single sees our boy getting more intimate than ever before: “You don’t understand how much you really mean to me/ I need you in my life you’re my necessity.”

Down on the West Coast, they got a sayin’ — but there’s no time for that right now. We’ve got to talk about Lana Del Rey‘s Ultraviolence album cover, which the reigning queen of sway-pop confirmed via Twitter on Friday (May 9), following a reported leak from Universal Music Group’s intranet.

Clad in a semi-transparent, white V-neck tee, the “West Coast” singer’s gaze will pierce you right to the shallow, shallow depths of your unsalvageable soul. The visual is so powerful — arresting, even! I can almost hear her voice echoing faintly in my head, as she scathingly mutters: “I told you it was coming, you little bitch.”

This news comes on the heels of the Ultraviolence track list, which was revealed on Thursday. No release date has been set, but as they say on the West Coast. … Actually, wait, I don’t think they have any sayings about Lana’s release date. There or anywhere. That would be weird.

Because some secrets are too juicy to keep under wraps, Katy Perry Instagrammed the set list for her Prismatic World Tour, which kicks off tonight (May 7) in Belfast, Ireland.

Obviously, I’m not mad at KP’s inability to keep a secret, but I’m starting to regret DMing her about making out with a hot dog on that shameful, shameful eighth-grade field trip. (THAT WAS ONE TIME.)

The concert is broken down into six distinct parts (not including the “Firework” encore), most of which should be pretty self-explanatory to anyone who’s even minimally aware of the “Birthday” singer’s entire existence: Prismatic, Egyptian, Cat-oure, Acoustic, Throw Back, and Hyper Neon.
