Leah and Corey clashed over a handful of co-parenting issues on last week’s “Teen Mom 2” episode — and in the sneak peek below, the young dad decides to take steps toward gaining more custody of the twins.
Corey and his wife Miranda have a candid conversation en route to his lawyer’s office and discuss the reasons they’re pursuing more time with his children. “I just really want what’s best for the girls, and that’s the main thing,” he says. “That’s my number one priority — what’s best for the girls. They just need structure.”
Miranda agrees. “That’s what I think is really important to understand…we’re not trying to take away, we’re not attacking anybody,” she says.
And while communicating with Leah about Ali and Aleeah is difficult now, Corey admits it wasn’t always that way.
“We used to be able to co-parent — we used to co-parent great,” he admits. “And that’s because I would give in a lot — to the crap. And now that I actually stand up for myself, [it's] like the world’s ending now because it’s personal.”
