Kailyn Lowry-Marroquin just got an unexpected “upgrade” from her husband Javi: a brand-new engagement ring!

Naturally, the “Teen Mom 2” cast member took to Twitter after receiving the surprise sparkler, sharing a photo of her breathtaking bling.

SIMPLY GAWGEOUS! So let’s talk about the jewels: Kail’s round-cut stone and diamond-encrusted band looks positively perfect on her sea foam-green manicured hand. Romantic, elegant, the works. Round of applause for Javi!

The adoring hubby revealed that he intended to give his “bae” the upgrade during their long-awaited honeymoon in the Bahamas, but simply “couldn’t wait.” We’ve said it before, but where can we get our own Javi?

The lovebirds first exchanged vows in a no-frills courthouse ceremony in September 2012; a year later, they celebrated with a sea-themed dream wedding. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams in “The Notebook” ain’t got nothing on these two…

Jatty have traveled a long and winding road together, but is one half of the on-again off-again PHHS pair finally ready to change lanes — for good?

On Tuesday night’s episode of “Awkward,” Jenna made it crystal clear that she wouldn’t leave her fro-yo triple date with Tamara and Luke to send Matty his college essay. Side note: J-Town actually sent it earlier in the evening, but Eva stirred up some drama and deleted the message. THE NERVE.

But this got us thinking that, after all these years, the famed blogger might finally be over her first love. Let’s look at the clues:

1. She gave him space — and plenty of it. After discovering he was adopted, Matty tried to numb himself with sex. A concerned Jenna pushed him to open up, but he resisted and then gave her an ultimatum: Either drop the subject, or stay away. She chose the latter.

2. She didn’t bail him out of the clink. When Matty and Jake wound up in jail, Jenna didn’t come a runnin’. In fact, she said it wasn’t her “responsibility to be his savior anymore” and told Eva to contact his brother instead. In the end, though, it was Sadie who came to the guys’ rescue.

3. She’s got a new man. And that’s a pretty big clue, right? Luke is in college and Jenna is in high school, but no matter: The duo seem smitten ...

A Georgia teen couldn’t juggle being a new mom, a student and a girlfriend on Monday night’s episode of “16 and Pregnant,” but was ending her relationship with her loyal boyfriend the best decision?

Despite the fact that Savon became pregnant by another guy, she started dating her friend Mauwi. When the father of her baby completely dropped out of the picture, Savon worried that Mauwi would follow suit, but the college student didn’t falter: He quickly became a solid support system for the mom-to-be, offering to help with the child and even come home to assist on weekends.

That’s when Savon realized she may have finally found The One.

“I wish I would have just sat down and realized that Mauwi was the right person for me to be with, instead of trying to be with somebody who has no interest in me,” Savon told her aunt, LaDonna.

Throughout Savon’s pregnancy, she wouldn’t have sex with Mauwi, even saying that she was “traumatized” and planned to wear a chastity belt after her son arrived. Mauwi was patient and agreed to wait, but their relationship never got that far.

After Baby Eden was born, Savon told Mauwi that being a mother, a student and a girlfriend was “too much right now.” “I’m just coming to the realization that I’m a mom, and that kind of comes first,” she said, breaking it off with him. It was a mature, brave decision, but part of her regretted it.

Nicole Polizzi has hinted in the past that she might be part alien, so it should come as no surprise that the UFO-obsessed guidette attended a “Roswell” reunion this past weekend.

That’s right — the hot mama, who lives in New Jersey with her fiancé Jionni LaValle and one-year-old son Lorenzo (and six-month baby bump), traveled all the way to Austin, Texas, for the 2014 ATX Television Festival. There, the cast of “Roswell” dished about shooting the beloved science-fiction WB cult series, which aired from 1999 to 2002.

Snooki gushed on her website that it was an “amazing experience,” despite having no actual meet-and-greet with the stars. As for her YOLO levels?

“I cried three times, almost peed my pants from excitement and had sweaty palms the whole time,” the “Snooki & JWOWW” star revealed. This, coming from a girl who’s walked a thousand red carpets with the likes of Rihanna and Lady Gaga.

Nicole even got to ask the panel a question — if they believed in aliens — but the host apparently cut her off and told her to “shut up.” HOW RUDE.

A young couple almost became homeless on tonight’s episode of “16 and Pregnant,” but will their last-ditch effort to find shelter end in disaster?

Popular high school graduate Jordan dreamed of joining the army, but her plans were derailed when she became pregnant. Soon after, her boyfriend Derek dropped out of college to get a job. When he lost the position, Jordan’s parents kicked him out — Jordan left with him — and the couple proceeded to bounce from couch to couch as they struggled to support themselves.

Before the arrival of their daughter Genevieve, Jordan opened up to her aunt and grandmother — the only family members she was speaking to — and confessed that she didn’t have a bank account. Derek, meanwhile, was in the red. “Right now, we have no means of supporting a baby,” the mom-to-be admitted.

While her grandmother gave Jordan some cash, she couldn’t help in the housing department. Enter Derek’s Texas-based dad Duane, who arranged for the couple to temporarily stay at his friend Tracy’s home in Baltimore.

Jordan and Derek soon settled into Tracy’s living room — they slept there on two twin beds — but friction appeared as Derek seemed uninterested in finding a job. During one heated argument, Derek snapped that he could leave “at any point” and Jordan would be “stuck” with their child.

Derek apologized after the squabble and changed his story, insisting that if he was going to take off, he would have done so when Jordan first ...

Get ready for more twists and turns in the roller coaster ride that is Karma and Amy‘s relationship: “Faking It” has just been renewed for Season 2! The sophomore season pick-up will feature 10 more episodes with the Hester High group — and surely lots of Karmy up-and-downs, our favorite bros Liam and Shane, some Lauren zingers and, hopefully, another croquembouche.

But before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s talk about the Season 1 finale. Airing tomorrow night at 10:30/9:30c, it’ll expose some true feelings (perhaps Amy finally comes clean to Karma at her mother’s wedding?) and one shocking twist. The suspense!

And in a sneak peek below, Shane tells Liam that since he rejected Pablo, Lauren’s dance partner has been pursuing him heavily.

“I feel so terrible for this guy, pining away,” Shane says, wielding his iPhone and showing Liam the photos Pablo has been posting. But when Liam notices one picture that features Karma — and zooms in on her — he quickly devises a plan to help his friend. And himself.

“Let’s crash that wedding so you can tell this poor guy to move on!” Liam says, knowing he’ll run into Karma at Amy’s mom’s nuptials. And they’re off!

Jo Rivera, Ryan Edwards and Corey Simms shared glimpses of their day-to-day lives and opened up about their evolving relationships with their significant others on last night’s “Being Dad: A Teen Mom” special. And, of course, the “Teen Mom” and “Teen Mom 2” dads shared some sweet moments with their adorable kiddies, too.

Jo was feeling some pressure: his longtime girlfriend Vee wants to get married, move to Florida so she can start her own daycare and start their own family. But Kailyn Lowry-Marroquin‘s ex admitted that he isn’t ready for a lifelong commitment and relocating…much to Vee’s dismay.

“You make me feel like I’m not worthy to be with in the future,” she said tearfully during dinner with Jo and his son Isaac.

In the exclusive clip below, Jo also addresses his critics, saying he has “absolutely” felt misunderstood. But he admits that it can be a challenge for others to understand his views and behavior — if you don’t have all the 411.

“You guys don’t know me, so I don’t blame you for misunderstanding the way I act and the way I am towards certain situations,” he says.

Meanwhile, Ryan, aka Maci Bookout‘s former beau, contemplated leaving his parents’ house and moving into a new home with his longtime girlfriend Shelby. But there’s an obstacle: his son Bentley is unsure about the impending change and not spending as much time with his grandparents. Ryan explained to his boy that he will “still get to see everybody,” but Bentley ...

Throughout the years, we’ve watched Ryan Edwards, Jo Rivera and Corey Simms mature from boys to men on “Teen Mom” and “Teen Mom 2.” The young fathers have made great strides in co-parenting with their former significant others — Maci Bookout, Kailyn Lowry-Marroquin and Leah Messer-Calvert, respectively — through difficult circumstances, and now, MTV is shining more of the spotlight on their day-to-day dad duties.

On Sunday night at 8/7c, the network will air “Being Dad: A Teen Mom Special,” a one-hour catch-up special showing life from the guys’ perspectives that will include, for example, deeper glimpses into their romantic situations.

In the sneak peek below, Jo tries to comfort his girlfriend after revealing that he isn’t ready for marriage, even though she is eager to make the lifelong commitment.

“Just tell me how you feel and I’ll tell you how I feel,” Jo says to an upset Vee during dinner with her and his son, Isaac. “Like, we can take turns. And then we can kiss and make up because we don’t have to be mad at each other.”

“Protect her,” Isaac adorably chimes in, after Jo tells his curious child that she’s “sad.”

“You make me feel like I’m not worthy to be with in the future,” Vee responds while she wipes away her tears.

On last night’s episode of “Awkward,” Tamara took a brief hiatus from the boys and jumped into the lady pond with Luke’s college roommate. While the experience sure was a memorable (and orgasmic-filled) one for the Palos Hills High School president, she didn’t quite switch teams afterward: T declared herself as “maybe hetero-flexible” to Jenna, but concluded that, for now, hooking up with the same sex “might not be for me.”

Tamara’s future sexual preference may be uncertain, but that didn’t stop Jeanine Mason, the actress who portrayed lesbian Southern Coast University student Shane, from sharing an intimate photo of the fiery redhead from the set — and between the sheets.

“Waking up to my sweet lips @JillianRoseReed. Oh how I enjoyed working @MTVAwkward. #Awkward,” Jeanine tweeted with the snapshot of her sleeping beauty…and a few camera guys capturing the magic moment on film. Jeanine also declared that the duo “are adorable together,” to which Jillian responded, “#girlkisses.”

Maybe the pair won’t have another romantic rendezvous onscreen, but the actresses sure make adorable gal pals IRL!

Nev Schulman and Max Joseph untangled their first non-romantic web of deceit on last week’s episode of “Catfish.” The dynamic duo helped Philly resident Lucille come face-to-face with Kidd Cole, who claimed to be a music producer working for Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. label. Turned out, Kidd was a con artist who duped Lucille for her money.

But Lucille isn’t the only person a catfish has used for their hard-earned cash. Remember these two scam-tastic episodes?

Ramon and Loyda: On Season 2, Arizona casino worker Ramon shocked the Internet detectives when he revealed that he had given his cyber girlfriend Paola access to his bank account…even though he had never met her in person. Ramon let Paola spend thousands of dollars (!) because he claimed he loved her. Of course, Nev and Max uncovered a surprise: Paola was actually a woman named Loyda. An even bigger surprise? When the Florida resident was tracked down, she said that Ramon had seen her multiple times on webcam and knew she wasn’t his dreamgirl. Eventually, Ramon fessed up that he kinda-sorta knew the score all along but kinda-sorta couldn’t accept the truth. The cherry on top: At the end of the episode, Loyda announced that she’d used Ramon’s money to purchase a ring and had been pretending she was engaged to her Internet boyfriend.

Since the show, Loyda has found true love — she tied the knot last July.
