Watch Sarah Silverman And Jimmy Kimmel Insult Each Other In Joan Rivers’ Memory

by 26 mins ago

Knowing how Joan Rivers felt about the inevitability of her own death, it was no surprise that the late comedienne’s near, dear friend Sarah Silverman paid tribute to her with a trio of zingers on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Thursday.

Silverman, who fondly remembered Rivers as a woman who loved and hated with her whole heart, joined the chorus of voices memorializing the Hollywood grande dame the best way she knew how: by throwing shade at the origins of Kimmel’s necktie, shirt and hair.

Jimmy, not one to fall down on the job of giving Joan Rivers a proper send-off, responded with a back hair joke that Rivers is probably still cackling about in the afterlife.

Norman Reedus Might Have Just Tweeted A Giant ‘Walking Dead’ Spoiler

by 11 mins ago

In what is either a giant spoiler, a marvelous joke, or some bizarre combination of the two, Norman Reedus tweeted out a photo today that raises some interesting questions about what’s in store for his character on the upcoming season of “The Walking Dead.”

The pic shows Reedus, decked out in full Daryl Dixon regalia, being… er, attended to by a man we believe is the show’s special-effects guru Greg Nicotero. And then, of course, there’s the caption.

So, what in the name of all that is dead and walking is going on here? We’ve got a few potential theories.

1. “The Walking Dead” is now “The Wedding Dead.”
Picture this: a plotline which not only solves the much-discussed mystery of Daryl Dixon’s sexual orientation, but also satisfies viewers’ longtime lust for a big gay wedding in every sense of the word. Seeing Daryl get married to a guest-starring Greg Nicotero would totally make up for the disappointment of Glenn and Maggie tying the knot off-screen last season, not to mention providing a charming subplot about the challenges of wedding planning in a world full of walkers. We’re thinking zombie innards strung up like garlands; severed head centerpieces; Michonne playing double duty as maid of honor and head security guard; and of course, Daryl stealing the spotlight in a beautiful, formal poncho.

2. Daryl Dixon will give his friends a hand.
Let’s be honest: upon examination of Daryl’s digits, ol’ righty is looking undeniably necrotic. Could he be the show’s latest victim of a ...

Jennifer Lawrence’s Nude Leaked Photos Could End Up In An Art Gallery

by 1 min ago

Because there haven’t been enough responses already to the celeb nude photo leak, a Los Angeles street artist has now announced that he will add the hacked photos of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton to his upcoming show.

E! Online reports that the artist, known as XVALA, plans to print life-sized reproductions of the photos on canvas for his “No Delete” show at CACA’s The Showroom in St. Petersburg, Florida. According to the report, XVALA has been amassing “compromised” images of celebrities over the course of the past seven years as part of his “Fear Google” campaign, which appeared in public areas throughout Los Angeles and is meant to explore the loss of privacy in a world where every action leaves a digital footprint.

XVALA reportedly explained his decision by saying, “In today’s culture, everybody wants to know everything about everybody. An individual’s privacy has become everyone else’s business. It has become cash for cache.”

Publicist Cory Allen issued a statement commending XVALA’s work for helping to “strengthen the ongoing debate over privacy in the digital era” — because being complicit in the violation and abuse of these women is totally about contributing to a cultural dialogue, and not at all about profiting from a sex crime.

The show is slated to open October 30, which means that it may or may not actually happen, considering that the photos are now officially evidence in a federal criminal investigation, and a representative for Jennifer Lawrence have announced that anyone who posts ...

See Colton Haynes As Arsenal In These ‘Arrow’ Season 3 Photos

by 19 mins ago

With just over a month to go before “Arrow” returns to television, fans are finally getting a peek at what’s in store for the season three premiere — and yes, there’s a red hood involved.

A host of images from the episode made their debut over at Screenrant, making it clear that season three plans to pack a whole lot of superhero into its first episode. One pic shows Colton Haynes in his recently-revealed Arsenal duds, ready to fight alongside Stephen Amell’s Arrow; another features the Canary (Caity Lotz) holding a metal rod which she’s probably about to wallop someone.

Unsurprisingly, the pics reveal very little about what will go down when “Arrow” returns to TV, but for those who’ve been wondering about the fate of Quentin Lance after his cliffhanger injuries in the second season finale, it looks like he’s alive and well.

“Arrow” season three will premiere October 8 on the CW.

Gwen Stefani’s VMAs Experience Was All Buttcheeks And Finger-Clapping

by 6 mins ago

Gwen Stefani made an appearance Wednesday on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” in her first TV interview since she pulled double duty last week at two major awards shows in a row. Which meant it was her first chance to address:

A) that whole “Colbore Report” flub at the Emmys,
B) the origins of her now-famous finger clap, and
C) the, ahem, well-rounded differences between the VMAs red carpet and the one at the Emmys.

Stefani breezed right past her Emmys goof and said the finger-clap is something she picked up at summer camp. Apparently, “If everyone does it, it sounds like rain,” she explained. But let’s be honest, the real highlight of this interview is seeing her describe the VMAs red carpet as an electric buttcheek extravaganza. Which it totally was.

If You Love ‘Harry Potter,’ These 7 Things Are Your Horcruxes

by 15 mins ago

If you’ve ever truly been a part of the world of “Harry Potter,” you know that sometimes, a horcrux just can’t be helped. One minute, you’re up to your eyeballs in all things wizardly whimsy — and the next, a little piece of your actual soul has broken off and buried itself somewhere in the story. Where do our fractured selves reside now, years after the last page has been turned? Here are the seven things that are every die-hard (and we mean that in the most literal sense) “Harry Potter” fan’s personal horcrux.

1. Platform 9 3/4 at King’s Cross Station.

Thousands of fans have made Potterhead pilgrimages to this magical spot, where Harry’s journey to Hogwarts began. (And, yes, you can visit.)

2. The python in the reptile house at the London Zoo.

The first magic-containing scene in “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” was filmed here — and we all know that snakes make great horcruxes. Just ask Voldemort.

3. The napkin on which J.K. Rowling wrote the first words of the book that started it all.

Or at least, the little Edinburgh cafe called The Elephant House, from whence that notable napkin came.

4. The bust of Hermes in room 652 at the Balmoral Hotel.

This noble marble statue, the only witness to the moment when J.K. Rowling penned the final words of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” bears an inscription from the author commemorating the moment — ...

You’ve Gotta Crow Over This First Pic Of Allison Williams As Peter Pan

by 12 mins ago

A pixie wig, some leather wristbands, and one very green pair of spandex bike shorts are all it took to transform glamorous “Girls” star Allison Williams into the famous flying boy who won’t grow up. After news broke in July that Williams would play the title role in an NBC live performance of “Peter Pan,” this morning brought us our first peek at the actress as the daring Pan, perched on one of the masts of what must be Captain Hook’s pirate ship.

The photo debuted on Today this morning, simultaneously hitting the internet courtesy of the show’s Twitter account. Williams also reposted the shot on Instagram, where she nipped in the bud any rumors about her having lopped off her long locks for the role:

“Fun fact: I was all ready to cut my hair, then was told by the folks who actually know what they’re doing that a wig works better for everybody,” she wrote.

“Peter Pan” will air live December 4 on NBC.

Adam Levine’s Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson Impressions Are Insanely Good: Watch

by 12 mins ago

In addition to being a singer, songwriter, talent coach, yogi, and the man singlehandedly responsible for the most gif-able moment ever to happen on “American Horror Story,” it turns out that Adam Levine is also a gifted musical impersonator — a skill he showed off Tuesday (September 2) on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon.

Levine was the first-ever participant in a new game created just for him, called Wheel of Musical Impressions. Using a spinning wheel to generate bizarre artist/song combinations, Fallon got his guest to do a spot-on impersonation of Frank Sinatra singing “Head Shoulders Knees and Toes,” followed by a second, equally terrific impersonation of Michael Jackson singing the “Sesame Street” theme song and of Eddie Vedder singing “The Muffin Man.” Not gonna lie, we are seriously impressed right now.

In Honor Of Back To School, Our 12 Favorite Onscreen School Supplies

by 31 mins ago

With kids across the U.S. back at school this week, school supplies are having their yearly celebrity moment. Colorful notebooks dominate the display aisles at every drugstore; pencils hold the promise of a new year in their virgin, unsharpened tips.

But some noble school supplies go the extra mile to make themselves famous outside the bounds of the back-to-school frenzy, and today, we honor them. Below, a list of the best movie and TV scenes featuring school supplies of all kinds.

12. Eric Cartman’s Trapper Keeper from “South Park.”

Its fate is a solemn reminder of the dangers of buying the latest, hottest school supply in order to make all your friends mega-jealous.

11. “Bandits” and its great highlighter heist.

The best (and possibly only) highlighter to ever play a supporting role alongside Bruce Willis.

10. “Liar, Liar” and its red blue pen.

A man who cannot lie wages an existential war over the color of a ballpoint pen.

9. Jason Bourne, and his pen of death.

A man who cannot remember his past wages a literal war with only a pen as his weapon.

8. “Bruce Almighty”: Post-it notes.

bruce

Jim Carrey has the dubious honor of appearing on this list twice, making him the Hollywood actor most likely to be attacked by school supplies.

7. Yet another pen stabbing, from “Red Eye.”

Novelty pens featuring Frankenstein’s head are fun to write and kill with.

6. And one more, for good measure, from “Grosse Pointe Blank.”

It’s official: the pen ...

Fans, Rejoice: There Is Still Hope For A ’24′ Movie

by 1 min ago

Much like its hero, Jack Bauer, the long-awaited movie based on TV’s “24” just cannot be killed.

The latest glimmer of hope for fans who long to see their beloved show make the jump to the big screen: a report from TV Line, citing anonymous sources at Imagine Entertainment, that the idea is being kicked around anew. TV Line speculates that the studio may be eager to cash in on the wave of interest spurred by the series’ return to television this summer, when “24: Live Another Day” was received enthusiastically by fans and critics alike.

If the plans for a movie pan out, it’ll be to the great delight of all involved — especially star Kiefer Sutherland, who’s been stoked to play Jack Bauer in a feature film since back in 2006.

On the other hand, Sutherland has dialed down his confidence from “We’re totally making a movie!” to “A movie is always a possibility” in recent years, possibly because he’s afraid to get his hopes up again only to have them dashed. We know the feeling. In the meantime, let’s all cross our fingers and make tiny, cautious noises of excitement over the possibility that a “24″ movie is maybe, possibly, finally happening.
