After last year, it is truly hard to picture the Video Music Awards without Miley Cyrus. Like, there was a time when foam fingers only existed as accessories for sporting events, and to be honest, we can’t even remember what that life was like. There was, of course, a VMA world before 2013, and Miley Cyrus existed within that world. She’ll continue to exist in that world because–YUUUS–she’s attending the 2014 VMAs on Sunday. OK, everyone, don’t freak out, but Rihanna has a new pair of jean shorts and she’s very into them. She’s so into them, she’s wore them multiple times in the past few days. She’s just like us, you guys. As if we didn’t already love her the most, she goes and proves that like any plebeian, when she has a piece of clothing she likes, she wears it whenever possible. Things kicked off three days ago, when we were first introduced to the jorts. TBH, when we first saw this picture we were too distracted by her two bags–they’re both baby colored, somehow? It’s no secret that the guys of 5 Seconds of Summer luhhhhve them some band tees. The smaller the sleeves and more destroyed, the better. It’s also no secret that 5SOS is performing at the 2014 Video Music Awards this Sunday and, TBH, we’re expecting no pants, but plenty of t-shirts. The 2014 Video Music Awards are in mere days, you guys. While we are eagerly anticipating the numerous performances from Nicki Minaj, Sam Smith, 5 Seconds of Summer, and more, we are—TBH—equally excited to see what everyone wears on the red carpet. Topping that list? Katy Perry, natch. KP is #KWEEN of the VMAs, with seven consecutive appearances already under her belt. 2014 will make (at least) eight and based on past looks, we are, obviously, expecting a lot.
