If you haven’t been keeping up with Jared Leto since the Academy Awards, one thing has changed: the hair on his face. While Jared has experimented with some interesting facial hair since he took home a golden statuette in March, he’s been letting his beard run wild on his face.

Last night, Jared was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and he allowed Jimmy to trim his beard. You know, the same one he’s been growing for six months? Jimmy is very well equipped for beard-trimming up on the stage—he has a cape and different size clippers—and makes sure things are fairly even when he’s finished. If this whole hosting thing doesn’t work out, a future in the hair industry looks promising, TBH.

Jared seems totally comfortable throughout the entire process, giving double thumbs up, and even moving his face against the razor, instead of vice-versa. Between the way Justin Bieber applies shaving cream and this face movement, there seems to be a lot about men’s grooming habits that I know nothing about.

The 2014 Video Music Awards are approaching—fast—and if there’s one thing we’ve learned from poring over photos from VMAs of years past: the red carpet sees a lot of skin. A lot of bare skin. In fact, if there’s one thing we can pretty much guarantee at the VMAs, it’s that at least a few of our faves will be flaunting as much skin as possible. (Hey, it happens in the dead of the summer! What else would you expect?) A quick run-through of iconic outfits from years past includes staples like nude bodysuits, lace, crop tops, and cut-outs.

From Lil Kim‘s legendary purple pasty at the 1999 VMAs to Selena Gomez‘s more subtle skin in a sheer lace corset dress at the 2013 VMAs, the exposure varies, but is always, always memorable. The bare skin trend has more than 20 years under its belt and shows no sign of slowing down. The only question left to ask, I guess, is: Who will be memorable in their itsy bitsy threads this year?

We have a few guesses, but we’ll find out for sure on Sunday at 8 PM EST, when the 2014 VMA Pre-Show kicks off in Inglewood, CA. You don’t wanna miss it!

OK, I’m not even going to lie to you guys: I do not fully comprehend what happened on last night’s episode of Teen Wolf. I know we saw Deputy Parrish shirtless–which, haiii–and werewolves can’t get drunk, but in terms of whether or not we actually found out who The Benefactor is? IDK. I just don’t know. (I’m a conspiracy theorist.) What I do know for sure, though, is that Lydia’s love for florals is more evident than ever. Dressed up or down, Lydia makes ‘em #WERK and, more importantly, all within one episode.

At the beginning of the episode, Lydia demonstrates her ability to mix prints yet again. Seriously, florals and polka dots? The same blue in both her skirt and shirt tie the overall look together and, TBH, have me researching how to effectively wear all prints, all the time.

Later, when she and Stiles are bein’ best buds and solvin’ puzzles, she changes into a more casual, pink flower sweatshirt. If you want to cop Lydia’s floral steez (ability to pair with other prints not included), you can still pick up this sweatshirt for a mere $10.

Vogue‘s September cover is here and it’s big–really, really big. The cover and its corresponding pull-out boast nine of today’s most popular models, including Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, and Cara Delevingne.

The cover, which was shot by Mario Testino, dubs this exclusive crew as “The Instagirls,” a group of women who are not only “savvy on social media,” but using the social network to build and expand their brands, while simultaneously, “single-handedly catapulting themselves to this generation’s version of supermodel status.” Exhibit A: That time Cara Delevingne made history live-Instagramming her Giles Deacon runway walk. Wow, I only use Instagram to share photos of, like, landscapes, so that must be why I’m not an Instagirl (yet).

Unsurprisingly, these ladies are not only popular on Instagram and favored by Anna Wintour, but also incredibly successful at, y’know, their jobs–Joan, Cara, and Karlie were just named to Forbes‘ list of highest paid models for 2014. One of the the most important things when signing a new face to a company these days? Number of Instagram followers, y’all. Fewer brunch pics, more head shots, K?

Surprising, though, are the models with major Insta-followings who appear to have been left off the cover—like Jourdan Dunn (with 700,000+ Instagram followers), Chanel Iman (with 600,000+), or Barbara Palvin (with over a million, though, her connection to Justin Bieber and One Direction might have a little something to do with that). If you ever wanted to see Pharrell‘s iconic Vivienne Westwood hat IRL but have had a hard time getting on Skateboard P’s calendar, you’re in luck! The hat is heading to the Newseum in Washington D.C. It’ll be on display starting this Friday (August 22) through October 26. How do I know? Oh, Arby’s told me in a Vine. Yeah, you read that sentence correctly. No, you’re not hallucinating.

If you can cast your memory back to March, you may recall that Pharrell auctioned off his Grammys hat for charity and for a cool $44,100, Arby’s became the proud owner of a brown “Buffalo Gals” hat. Arby’s is temporarily relinquishing its chance to stare at the hat all day, so others can check it out and, likely, take photos next to it. While we would love to try it on, obviously, that seems unlikely—it is in a museum, after all.

Between Pharrell’s hat and Beyonce’s outfits getting a museum exhibition, there seems to be a growing interest in seeing memorable outfits in person. I would love to see Lady Gaga’s fave flying attire in the flesh rhinestone, so if that could be the next major exhibit, I’d be very happy.

It’s Cara Delevingne—#1 onesie fan in the world. And unlike Katy, who has worn hers both zipped and unzipped, Cara is all about using her pepperoni piece for disguise. She may have gone unnoticed, but her two Mulberry bags kiiiinda give it away. Seriously—does anyone else in the world wear onesies and have a collaboration with the bag brand? I don’t think so.

So, like, is this a pizza gang? Can we join? Is this the official uniform? We are not opposed. Not at all.

If you can’t sleep at night because you can’t stop wondering when North West will land her first solo fashion spread, you’ll be sleeping like a log tonight. It finally happened—solo and clothed Nori in a magazine. Is she the cutest and best dressed baby on Earth? Survey says, “Yes.”

It looks like Nori’s first solo shoot comes courtesy of Carine Roitfeld and CR Fashion Book. Unlike her Vogue appearance, Nori is wearing clothes—and not just any clothes, I might add. She’s wearing Chanel!

She has on a cashmere sweater with an asymmetrical placket, diamond earrings, and—to keep her pacifier safe, probably—a tiny quilted Chanel bag. She’s grasping the chain like an old CC-certified pro—she’s lost in thought, and yet, keeping a hand on her possessions. No one gets near Nori’s Chanel, OK?

While this is only the first photo to emerge, we’re crossing our fingers for more photos and more baby Chanel—seriously, there’s nothing cuter, bye.

The list of performers at the 2014 Video Music Awards just keeps getting better, eh? Nicki Minaj was just announced as a performer for the show on August 25 and we, of course, immediately thought about her new, low-key approach to fashion and how it stands in stark contrast to her past VMA looks. In the past, Nicki has gone BIG at the VMAs, which means whatever she wears this year will likely be a huge departure from her first appearance in 2010. Let’s kick this thang off.

At her first VMAs in 2010, Nicki performed at the pre-show in a very colorful outfit. Two-tone metallic for a first time performer? Yeah, no biggie. Also, that bun. The greatest bun in VMA history? I think so.

For the red carpet, Nicki wore a fairly understated outfit—she kept the pink wig, but let the bun down. She paired her peach jumpsuit with a necklace that filled the entire area from right below her chin to her chest. It must weigh, like, 15 pounds. It is nothing, though, compared to the one she wore the following year.
