Having nearly been killed by the “Teen Wolf” Nogitsune no fewer than a dozen times, Scott and Kira have developed into fearless warriors, and werecoyote Malia, who joined their pack after the creature was finally cut down, doesn’t have a timid bone in her body. But Scott’s newest beta wolf, Liam, isn’t so steadfast — and on Monday’s “Teen Wolf” episode, he feared he didn’t have the backbone to keep up with the others.

Liam, who never asked for “the bite,” is doing pretty well for himself, all things considered. He managed to climb his way out of Garrett’s temporary prison, has gone toe-to-toe with Berserkers and is a monster on the lacrosse field. But when he finally understood that The Benefactor’s assassins had no intention of relenting — and that he might not ever be completely out of the woods as one of their supernatural targets — he felt beaten down, and wasn’t sure he could press on. “I’m not like you,” he told Scott and said he was in awe of the Alpha’s resolve.

Luckily for Liam, the dead pool’s mainframe has been turned off, and the assassins are officially off his back, but there’s still plenty of danger to come. So when the time comes and Liam’s tested, will he rise to the occasion, or is he too dispirited to keep fighting? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Just a short time ago, Carter Stevens left everything she knew and loved in favor of starting a new life with her biological family, the Wilsons. But on tonight’s “Finding Carter” episode, we got reason to believe she might have reconsidered the choice, and that maybe she’s gone for good.

After discovering that her father David faked organizing a meeting between Carter and Lori, Carter began to have second thoughts about the man she’d previously trusted. Her doubts were compounded when she realized David had finished writing “Finding Carter” long before she gave him her stamp of approval. But that was just the beginning of Carter’s troubles: When Bird’s mother returned home for the first time in months, she noticed some of her jewels missing and demanded an explanation. Rather than admit the truth, Bird, who had given a bracelet to Carter and a necklace to Ofe, threw Carter under the bus by claiming Carter had stolen the relics. Within seconds, Carter was arrested for larceny.

While behind bars, Carter, who’d become incredibly close to Elizabeth, expected her biological mother to come to her defense, but Elizabeth had her doubts. And though the teen was struggling, Elizabeth could only think to ask incriminating questions about Crash, whom she was sure had something to do with the missing jewels. Frustrated, Carter considered that maybe she’d just be better off incarcerated.

With the disastrous Echosmith concert and Palos Hills High School’s senior ski trip considered, it’s safe to say road trips are not Jenna Hamilton‘s thing. But the actresses behind the blogger’s mom and guidance counselor have proven they can definitely get away in style.

Nikki Deloach and Desi Lydic, whose “Awkward” characters are known in tandem as VaLacey, traveled to Sin City for a friend’s bachelorette party this weekend. And even though Desi wound up in the laps of three Thunder Down Under performers once the ladies finally reached their destination (that minx!), it looks like the occasion’s highlights came during the journey to Vegas.

Yes, the #VaLaceyRoadTrip included theatrical toilets, intimate encounters with humans dressed as animals (something with which Desi is expertly familiar) and the mimicking of dinosaurs outside a roadside stop called Peggy Sue’s. In other words, it was a paradise that you and yours can never, ever hope to achieve. Summer 2014 was certainly not wasted on these two…

Palos Hills High School graduation is just a few short months away, but with college rejection letters, dating disasters and an unfortunate tumble off a stripper pole on the agenda for Jenna Hamilton, the blogger might consider hiding beneath her covers and waiting for the occasion to pass.

In the upcoming batch of “Awkward” episodes, which kick off on Tuesday, September 23 at 10/9c, J-Town, Tamara and their pals certainly won’t have it easy as Grade 12 comes to a close. Matty, who’s already struggling with the possibility that he might soon become a father, will be forced to — once again — DTR with Jenna, who’s perpetually confused by the state of the on-and-off couple’s relationship. Still, with a male-objectifying “dude database” taking the PHHS campus by storm, those might be the least of Matty’s worries.

Oh, and the reliably terrible Sadie Saxton will continue to share nasty tell-offs ’round the clock. What would we do without you and your penchant for scorn, Queen Bee?

If you were ready to storm Beacon Hills — armed with pitchforks and torches — to take down Meredith The Benefactor after last week’s “Teen Wolf” episode, you might want to pause and reconsider.

Tonight, while Malia and Stiles tore apart Lydia‘s lake house to find clues about how to stop the hit list’s cash flow, Lydia tried to understand the dead pool’s origin from the horse’s mouth. But Meredith said there was only one person with whom she wanted to speak — Peter Hale — and when the former alpha wolf arrived at the police station, Meredith claimed it was he who’d set the assassins in motion. Huhhh?

Apparently, some time earlier, Peter and Meredith were both at the hospital at the same time — he was in a coma while recovering from severe burns, and she was temporarily vegetative after listening to the record player at Lydia’s lake house — and Meredith’s sensitive banshee hearing acted as a sponge for Peter’s subconscious ranting. While he was asleep, his deranged mind tossed around ideas about eliminating the town’s entire supernatural population. And a paralyzed Meredith, who had no choice but to listen, took his jumbled thoughts as concrete direction. Eventually, she made his perverse fever-dream a reality.

Thankfully, Stiles and Malia found the dead pool’s mainframe behind a wall in the lake house’s study and were able to turn it off and (FINALLY!) freeze The Benefactor’s money, effectively stopping the assassins ...

Little Meilani Mathews has already proven to have her father’s sense of adventure and her mother’s daring style, but when it comes to her “Jersey Shore” gene pool, who does she take after?

JWOWW, whose “Jersey Shore Massacre” hits select theaters TODAY, just took a moment from her busy executive producer schedule to adore her little girl (can’t say we blame her!). But as she looked into Meilani’s eyes, she couldn’t tell if she saw herself staring back. Is the baby a mini-WOWW, or does she have the features of her dear old dad?

Determined to get to the bottom of things, Jenni plastered a photo of Meilani beside her own baby photo and one that belonged to Roger. “I think she’s 50/50…Lol (I’m super jealous everyone keeps saying she looks like roger lol)” she captioned the Instagram photo (Jenni’s top left, Rog’s bottom left).

Nicole Polizzi‘s first child Lorenzo is the undisputed light of her life, but her second baby, whose due date is quickly approaching, is giving the “Snooki & JWOWW” star a liiiittle bit of trouble.

In a recent interview with E!, Snooki’s BFF Jenni Farley explained that being pregnant with a girl has been a much different experience for Nicole, and that, frankly, it’s been an unpleasant one.

“She is not happy,” JWOWW said. “She loved the pregnancy with Lorenzo. This one, I’m, like, scared of her. It’s like ‘The Exorcist.’”

Jenni, who admitted she hated being pregnant with her daughter (but has since fallen in love with little Meilani), explained that baby girls are said to sap their mothers of hormones more significantly, and that Nicole, for one, is suffering. Hang in there, Snooki! At the very least, here’s hoping your delivery goes more smoothly this time around…

What does it take for a gentle giant to get a little love?

On tonight’s “Virgin Territory” episode, David, a 19-year-old University of Utah student, shared his ongoing struggle to escape the dreaded “friend zone.” He pointed out that, in spite of his 6 foot 6 inch stature, he was socially meek, and the fear that manifested each time he was around a girl left him a virgin who’d never been kissed. In fact, he’d never even asked someone on a date. Rejection was a bitch, he noted, and he didn’t want to become familiar with it.

Still, David had hopes that things might work out with Cairo, his recent crush who, like he, was kind, gentle and enjoyed a good bounce in the local trampoline park. With the support of his friends Emily and Allison, who implored him to be bolder, David worked up the nerve to call Cairo and ask her to a sushi dinner. But as the night approached, he feared he’d never be able to ditch his timidity.

When the big night finally came, David shocked himself by how forthcoming he was, and Cairo, responsively, met him halfway. “I feel like I can be myself with you,” she said. “We can do nerdy Pokemon things.” Still, a good-night kiss turned out to be too tall a task for David, and he and his dry lips were left wondering where exactly he stood with Cairo.

There’s no doubt that Beacon Hills’ werewolves, werecoyotes and kitsunes are tough, but if you touch ‘em with a torch, they still burn. The same, however, can’t be said for Deputy Jordan Parrish.

The newest police recruit on “Teen Wolf,” whose name is featured on The Benefactor’s hit list, was nearly taken out on Monday night’s episode when one of his fellow officers — who apparently moonlighted as an assassin — tied him to a squad car’s steering wheel, deluged him with gasoline and set him ablaze. Parrish seemed like a goner, until he showed up at the station, blackened but mostly unscathed, and took his co-worker down.

It was then that Scott, Lydia and Derek finally decided to come clean and inform the unaware Parrish that he, like they, was a supernatural being. Still, Parrish, who’d never known himself to be anything other than human, had no idea what his second identity could be — he had no fangs, claws or other-worldly visions. All he knew was that he should have been reduced to ash in the flames but was still standing. Derek suggested Scott seek out Chris Argent, who had the key to the ever-helpful bestiary, but the man was nowhere to be found.

Every family tree has at least one crazy cousin, a handful of feuding siblings and, of course, the cool uncle. And as far as JWOWW and Roger Mathews’ kin is concerned, Ronnie Magro has definitely taken the role of the latter.

The former “Jersey Shore” star recently stopped by the WOWW household to pay Jenni and Roger’s little girl Meilani a visit, and Rog could clearly sense a connection between the two. “Look who showed up to see me mommy ! UnklE roNniE!” he captioned the Twitter photo featured above.

And though Ronnie eventually had to part ways with the little one to accompany Jenni to the premiere of “Jersey Shore Massacre” (congrats, JWOWW!), he made sure to get one final shot with Meilani in which he’s dressed to the nines. “#Family #LoveThem” he captioned his Instagram post that finds him suited up in a checkered shirt, bright yellow tie and James Bond shades. It bears repeating: This is ONE. COOL. UNCLE.
