Does The ‘Teen Wolf’ Hit List Creator Have A Link To Allison Argent?

by 10 mins ago

Allison Argent may be gone, but her name is living on…in pretty unfortunate fashion.

On tonight’s “Teen Wolf” episode, Lydia, who’d been out of sorts, realized the latest installment of her Banshee haze generated a totally unclear computer code. She wasn’t sure what it meant, but she and Kira decided it was worth exploring. So the girls took the laptop along with them on a trip to Lydia’s lakehouse, which was designed to keep Malia and the newly bitten Liam safely restrained during the coming full moon.

Unbeknownst to Lydia, Liam, who’d been led to the lake house under the pretense that there was a party in progress, had invited the better part of the freshmen class to rage; soon, Lydia’s pad was a war zone. Amid the chaos, the banshee chased Liam’s pal Mason upstairs to shoo him out of the second-floor office and quickly realized — once she shut the door behind her — that the space was soundproof. Before long, she picked up on the white noise the room’s phonograph was playing and receded into her familiar supernatural trance (complete with visions of heads in the wall!).

Kira, who’d been busy keeping Liam tied up, stumbled upon Lydia in the thick of the banshee’s spell, and when Lydia came to, she realized she’d drummed up the password to her code: “Allison.” She entered her fallen friend’s name into her laptop, and what popped up understandably chilled her to her core. ...

‘Teen Wolf’ Poll: Will Liam Make A Good Additon To Scott’s Pack?

by 21 mins ago

Scott McCall and his friends might have taken down an alpha wolf, a few Oni and the dreaded Nogitsune, but on tonight’s “Teen Wolf” episode, a new student (and a freshman, at that) had ‘em beat.

Liam, who’d transferred from a private school to play lacrosse for Beacon Hills High School, was a force to be reckoned with as soon as he stepped onto the field. And though it seemed like he had the power of the supernatural on his side, Scott couldn’t smell or hear a trace o’ werewolf on ‘em. Liam embarrassed Scott and Stiles through most of the tryout, but incumbent captain Scott eventually got his act together by the end of a two-on-two scrimmage, and laid a hit on Liam that was so hard, it landed him in the hospital.

Liam2

As has been the case many times in Beacon Hills, though, that turned out to be the most dangerous place an injured person could be; when Sean, a wendigo, started chowing down on the building’s patients, Liam found himself in harm’s way. After apprehending Liam, Sean dangled the injured student over the edge of the hospital’s roof while holding Scott’s arms behind his back. And when it looked like Liam was a goner, Scott thrust out his jaw and caught Liam’s arms…with his teeth. The good news? He’s saved, and his busted leg will probably be good as new by morning. The bad news? He may not have wanted ...

‘Finding Carter’ Star Cynthia Watros Recalls Life As A Pill-Popping Kidnapper…On The Soaps

by 28 mins ago

In 1998, after her very first nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Cynthia Watros walked away from the Daytime Emmy Awards with a trophy for her role on “Guiding Light.” And when you consider all that her character Annie Dutton endured (you know, like throwing herself down a flight of stairs to frame her rival for murder…), it’s really no surprise.

“I’ve done it all,” Cynthia recalls of her days as a soap star in the interview below. “I’ve kidnapped kids, I’ve carried weapons, I’ve drugged people, I’ve killed. I’m an alcoholic, pill-popping — you know, and then I’m a nun!”

And though Cynthia says you can also expect a hearty helping of drama from new MTV series “Finding Carter,” which follows a teen as she copes with the jarring news that she was abducted as a child, the actress notes that its storylines and those that evolved during her daytime TV days are apples and oranges.

“With ‘Finding Carter,’ there are some dramatic things that happen, but I think it’s all based in reality,” she explains. “It’s important for us to have it based in true feelings and if these situations were to happen, how you truly would react to it.”

Watch Cynthia reminisce about her days as Annie, and be sure to catch her on the “Finding Carter” premiere next Tuesday, July 8 at 10/9c!

Amber Portwood Pens Tell-All, Says ‘I’m Going To Tell You How It All Happened’

by 25 mins ago

These are the cold, hard facts: After spending 17 months in an Indiana prison for violating probation surrounding a case of drug possession, Amber Portwood of “Teen Mom” was released early from a five-year sentence last November and has since been on the straight and narrow. She’s a phoenix now, but how was she first reduced to ashes?

We’ll soon find out. The mother of the adorable little Leah has written a tell-all book, she told InTouch yesterday, and it doesn’t sound like she’s going to leave much to the imagination. “It’s a brutally honest account of how bad my life got,” she said in the interview. “Addiction. Mental illness. Death. Divorce. Betrayal. Violence. Suicide attempts. Felony charges. Rehab. Drug overdoses and jail…I’m going to tell you how it all happened.”

Amber was brutally honest about her struggles throughout a recent appearance on “Maury,” during which she mentored a group of troubled young girls who responded positively to her candor. Let’s hope her continued openness has the same effect on readers!

Will you read Amber’s no-holds-barred memoir? Tell us what you hope to hear!

‘Catfish’ Poll: Should Jeff Commit To Brandy — Even While Overseas?

by 8 mins ago

Finding love is difficult for anyone, but doing it when you’re deployed for a majority of the year is nearly impossible.

On tonight’s episode of “Catfish,” Jeff, an active navy sailor from Florida, found himself at a standstill. He’d been Internet-dating a nurse named Megan — who’d sent him a Facebook friend request accidentally — for about a year. Megan, like Jeff, was shy and gentle and shared his love of dogs. But after she stood Jeff up when he traveled all the way to Texas to visit her, he had understandable concerns.

Through the power of some super-sleuthing, Max and Nev discovered that Megan was more than likely a woman named Brandy, who shared the same address, phone number and membership to dog appreciation groups as Megan — but who didn’t have a photo attached to her profile. Max and Nev called Megan to try to convince her to meet Jeff, but she was reluctant. And since Jeff couldn’t leave Florida while on duty, Max had no choice but to venture to Texas by himself to win Megan (or was it Brandy?) over.

JeffHouse

Once Max finally made contact with Jeff’s beloved in Dallas, she admitted to creating the “Megan” profile and said a string of bad relationships, including a recently abusive one, killed her self-esteem. Brandy used Megan as a means to escape her own problems, she explained. And though she had misgivings about meeting Jeff, she finally agreed to rip off the ...

‘Finding Carter’ Star Kathryn Prescott Has Something Her Character Doesn’t

by 15 mins ago

In theory, a mother and father reuniting with their missing child is a happy occasion, but “Finding Carter” will prove it can be a bumpy road, too. When the show premieres on July 8 at 10/9c, Carter, who’s been living for years with a woman who abducted her, will be reunited with her biological family members. But finding common ground with the virtual strangers will be a struggle for the teen — especially when it comes to her parents.

So, can show stars Cynthia Watros and Kathryn Prescott — who play the mother, Elizabeth, and the daughter, Carter, respectively — relate to family drama? In the interview below, Kathryn, for one, says her rearing included a great deal of independence — something her character would kill for.

“My parents were always pretty free with me,” Kathryn says in the clip. “They were of the school of thought that if you really cramp down on someone and tell them not to do all these things, it’s gonna become like forbidden fruit.”

Cynthia, meanwhile, says her relationship with her mother has been “up and down” — but that the trials have helped her prepare for her role as Elizabeth. “We’ve had certain turning points, and one of them was that we didn’t connect, sort of how Elizabeth and Carter have difficulties connecting,” she explains.

After suffering through a serious autoimmune disease as a teenager, though, Cynthia says she and her mother were able to let down their ...

Nev Schulman And Max Joseph’s Dream ‘Catfish’ Is The President’s Daughter

by 36 mins ago

Since the very first episode of “Catfish,” in which an 18-year-old student named Chelsea posed online as a sought-after model named Jamison to earn the affection of girls on the web, Nev Schulman and Max Joseph have unearthed dozens of virtual liars who have exaggerated their wealth, looks or social standing to get what they wanted. But if you flipped this particular concept on its head, what would you get?

Max and Nev’s dream episode, of course!

In the interview below, the sleuths explain that one type of story they’ve been dying to explore — but haven’t yet had the chance to — involves a high society figure who discounts his or her own status through a fake social media profile to earn genuine love. In other words: The “Coming to America” premise.

“There is one situation that we keep hoping for…which is that someone — a royal or an aristocrat or someone very high-born — is going online and…essentially slumming it,” Max explains in the video.

“…In the hopes of finding someone who loves them for them, not their fame or money or status,” Nev concludes.

So, in an ideal world, who might the Catfish be?

“If Malia Obama had a fake profile so she could meet boys…and we get the guy and he’s like ‘Yeah, I’ve been talking to this girl. Her name’s Jackie, she seems great, she lives in D.C.,’” he envisions. “And we go there and the address is, like, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue!”

“That would ...

‘Teen Wolf’ Poll: Should Scott Tell Malia That Peter Is Her Father?

by 7 mins ago

If you thought Scott McCall had daddy issues, just remember: Peter Hale is Malia’s father, and the reckless werecoyote still has no idea.

Last season on “Teen Wolf,” Lydia discovered — by listening to memories that were left inside the claws of Peter’s sister Talia — that Malia was the former alpha wolf’s daughter. And though the former Eichen House patient has made great strides since becoming human, no one has bothered to tell her the truth.

On the show’s most recent episode, Peter nearly spilled the beans when he complimented Malia’s eyes and asked if she’d inherited them from her old man. But she brushed him off, saying they were from her mother’s gene pool.

Meanwhile, Malia’s pseudo-boyfriend Stiles insists that it’s time for her to know where her family tree is rooted, but Scott’s not so sure. Plus, considering Malia’s tendency to go nuts every time her blood pressure spikes, there’s no telling what she might do when the world-altering news sinks in.

So tell us what you think — should Scott and his friends open the Hale can of worms, or keep it shut and leave Malia in the dark? Take our poll, and expand on your choice in the comments!
