Liam Booker may be Hester High School’s artistic wunderkind, but he’s about to meet his match…straight from Sunnydale!

Nicholas Brendon, who played the loyal, quippy Xander Harris on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” is slated to join “Faking It” for the show’s Season 2 finale, according to The Hollywood Reporter. And his character will push Liam to the limits.

Brendon will play Jackson Lee, a Hester High graduate and professional artist in search of a student who’s worthy of a fellowship. Naturally, Liam will be a contender, but not before Jackson puts him through the wringer and forces him to think differently about his craft.

Jackson will become the golden child’s unlikely mentor, but will he approve of Liam’s most recent piece — a heart that serves as a pincushion for sharp spears? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Forget your ol’ Ken Griffey Jr. or Mark McGuire trading cards — the only novelty sports memorabilia that matters is a certain “Awkward” star’s hoops headshot.

Ashley Rickards, who plays the show’s discomfort-prone blogger Jenna Hamilton, shared some photos from the darkened corners of her attic earlier this week, and in honor of #TBT, we’re giving her the credit she oh-so-rightfully deserves.

First things first: obligatory team sports picture.

“Idk what you all were doing in 2001 but I was killing it on the court. #Awkward”, Ashley tweeted with the Instagram photo above. The delicate-yet-intense handling of the ball? The watch that was likely purchased from Sports Authority? Drawstring shorts? Just too, too good.

What happened to the simple days of sending your favorite celeb some glitter-coated fan mail?

“Girl Code“‘s outspoken redhead pinkhead, Carly Aquilino, who had audiences cackling as per usual on the show’s Season 3 premiere last night, told Glamour that she absolutely loves interacting with fans over Twitter, but that one particularly hairy social media exchange may have put her off Internet-convos.

“[A guy] tweeted at me, ‘If you retweet me, I’m going to shave your face into my back,’” she began. “And I retweeted like, ‘LOL.’ Within a half hour, it was my face on his back. I wish I had a screenshot of this. His girlfriend shaved my face into his hairy man-back and put red where my hair was. It wasn’t even an artistic thing — it was a smiley face with red hair.” And suddenly, Happy Gilmore signing a woman’s cleavage seems completely tame.

Still, for the most part, Carly says she loves chatting with her followers, who ask her questions on everything from hair maintenance tips to Tinder-etiquette. But there’s one topic she’s always a little wary of diving into.

“The teenage groups just want to talk about their boyfriends because it’s new to them — ‘How do I deal if I just got my heart broken?’ Those are things, unfortunately, that just everybody has to live through. That’s the most devastating thing in your world, so I always feel for them.”

According to sources, Dazzle’s most famous amusement park is steeped in a juicy brother-and-sister scandal! Longtime park darling Lucy Velez and new heir to the fair Ian Chandler allegedly locked lips by one of the space’s most wild coasters last night, and evidently, neither knew it was a family affair.

Word on the street is that Lucy, who met Ian only days before the spit-swap, had no idea that she and her crush shared a father (who just so happens to be the park’s own President Chandler), and it wasn’t until Lucy’s mother (and resident Happyland princess) Elena Velez came clean about this glossed-over detail that Lucy even knew her family tree sported a sibling branch. Not since the Governator’s mistress, ladies and gents…

“Teen Wolf” fans, it can’t be said enough: Dylan O’Brien adores you. Seriously. He’d take a bullet for you, he’ll give you a hand with that ill-timed flat tire and he’s good for a retweet any day of the week. But, guys, if you mess with Dylan O’Brien’s Tex-Mex, he might have to go all Nogitsune on your ass.

In an interview with Elle, the bona fide movie star spoke to how disorienting his new, huge “Maze Runner” fame can be, and though he’s got a sense of humor about most of it, there are still certain non-negotiables.

“Honestly, man, I’m not somebody who wants the celebrity,” he confessed. “I know everyone says it, but I get overwhelmed by it all sometimes. I do love my fans, and I am so grateful for them, but sometimes I just want to walk into Chipotle and get a f***ing burrito, man!” We hear that!

Still, it’s pretty unlikely that the “Teen Wolf” and “Maze Runner” fandoms will die down anytime soon, so how has O’Brien learned to cope with the chaos? In his eyes, choosing your battles is paramount.

“If you keep fighting it, it’ll just make you go crazy,” he explained. “Like, if you just keep saying to yourself, ‘No, I’m going to Chipotle and no one is going to f*** with me,’ you’ll end up in a mental ward. Because someone is probably going to f*** with you when you walk into that Chipotle.”

Shane and Liam may be a new breed of bro, but that doesn’t mean they’re immune to the typical perils of friendship.

On tonight’s “Faking It” episode, the seemingly inseparable pals had their first big argument. Things grew tense as Shane got the impression that Liam was ditching him for new kid Theo, and when the guys found themselves in the middle of a brawl at a local bar, resentments began to surface.

Liam, who was pissed off at Shane for starting the needless scuffle, dug deeper and admitted he was angry at his friend for keeping Karmy’s secret — that the girls weren’t really lesbians and had faked a relationship for popularity. Liam felt slighted and accused Shane of shifting his allegiance to Amy.

Shane, though, who was all too familiar with the terror of being in the closet, explained that he wasn’t siding with Amy, but that she needed an extra bit of sensitivity as she navigated the confusing path of her sexual identity. If he’d come clean about her master plan, he said, he’d have to out her, too, and he wasn’t ready to throw his fellow gay scout to the wolves.

Time is a-tickin’ until graduation day in Palos Hills, and Senior Class President Tamara, for one, isn’t going to waste a single second.

On tonight’s “Awkward” episode, to ring in the new year, T resolved to liven up the little bit of high school she had left. “We should make a ‘f*** it’ list!” she suggested as she, Jenna, Matty and Jake made their way to Aunt Ally’s New Year’s Eve bash. “Everything we thought we couldn’t do ’cause we were too sad or too scared, we should just carpe do-it!” And so she started with the first point on her agenda: tonguing a “dumb-yum” wrestler named Pete at the party (not to mention, she was first in line at the ice luge). Minx!

And Jake, who hooked up with a young mom, certainly partied hard, as well. Still, Matty and Jenna — like many of their peers — were mostly well-behaved, but should they take a ride on the F***-It Train too? In case they’re unsure of how to hop on board, here’s how we see it happening:

It took Marty McFly a souped-up DeLorean, the help of a mad scientist and a fortuitous lightning strike to travel through time, but the men of “Laguna Beach” did it with a single Instagram photo.

Last week, just before the 10-year anniversary of the show, Stephen Colletti, Trey Phillips and Dieter Schmitz went back home for their friend Ben Singer’s wedding, and a few days ago, Dieter shared a photo that found the guys in the very same pose they’d perfected way back in 2004. Say cheese!

“From senior prom to 10 years later for the first wedding last weekend for Ben,” Schmitz captioned the photo above, which — ties and all — is almost identical to the original. “Lucky to have such great friends my whole life.” Wonder if any of the gentlemen made it to Lauren Conrad’s big bash, too?

Growing up and settling into adulthood is a part of life, but Beau Mirchoff hopes his “Awkward” character Matty McKibben goes kicking and screaming.

In an interview with Wetpaint yesterday, the actor spelled out his relief that Matty won’t soon be the father of Eva’s child (you know…since she’s not actually having one). And his primary reason? No one would take a parent with his character’s nickname seriously.

“He would’ve had to be called Matthew,” Beau lamented. “You can’t be a father and be called Matty. It just doesn’t work.” Guess I’ll try not to take offense at the implication, pal…

And though Matty eviscerated Beth Whitson’s character Eva on the season premiere, essentially booking her a one-way ticket out of Palos Hills, the actress admitted she was happy Matty finally stood his ground.

“Everyone was always so protective of him — and for a good reason — but I think he wants to have his own voice,” Beth explained. “So I think it’s great he finally stuck up for himself, especially because Eva can be a bit of a bully sometimes.”

Both actors confessed it looks unlikely that Eva will return, but urged viewers to never say never.
