‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ Reunion Part 2: All Hell Breaks Loose On Set!

by 18 mins ago

New name alert: Puerto Rican Tornado!

Somebody get Dana White on the phone, pronto, because Joseline Hernandez went from 0 to 100 real quick on the second installment of VH1′s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” reunion show.

Punches were thrown, weaves flew, arms flailed and security guards were easily overrun as a brawl to end all brawls began and ended with Joseline, who was on a rampage.

She was the ultimate unleashed bull in a china shop: Nothing and no one could stop her.

“I come everywhere ready to fight,” Joseline said backstage after the fight(s).

Picking up where the show left off last week, after Benzino drew first blood by mumbling about Joseline being on crack, Stevie J and his enforcer charged ahead toward Althea and her fiance, opening up several cans of whoop-ass.

“I bust you in the mouth,” Benzino yelled towards Joseline. “I did that, bitch!”

Security was quick to the stage to separate all pugilists, but a determined Stevie and Joseline continued to break free from multiple restraints, with Joseline exacting further assaults on Althea, Mimi Faust and an unsuspecting Tammy Rivera. Even Deb Antney was somehow pulled into the fracas.

“Don’t get in this fight,” Joseline warned Deb. “I don’t wanna fight no old lady.”

Viewers weren’t privy to Deb’s response at the time, but later on in the broadcast, Waka Flocka Flame’s mother offered her retort.

“Deb is wit it if it comes her way,” she said, before explaining what she saw in her attacker. “She came up like ...

Watch Amber Rose Give Wiz Khalifa The Best No.1 Album Dance Ever

by 15 mins ago

Sorry, Nielsen SoundScan, you’ve just been one-upped!

Before today, the album sales tracking system was solely responsible for delivering Wiz Khalifa’s best week ever by tallying up the numbers to land the Pittsburg rapper’s Blacc Hollywood LP the #1 spot on the Billboard albums charts.

But that was before the “We Dem Boyz” MC’s wife Amber Rose came through with the grand twerk finale. That’s right, the blond bombshell posted the sexiest video ever on Instagram Friday (August 29) to celebrate her hubby’s first No. 1 album.

In the clip, the self-described “MILF” is wearing a blue camisole, making her glutes shimmy on beat to Wiz’s single, “A– Drop.”

“In honor of my Hubby’s #1 Album #blacchollywood #A–Drop,” she wrote in the caption.

We’ve been seeing a lot of Amber this week, as the video comes shortly after her Rose McGowan-channeling near-naked appearance on the VMA red carpet.

But of course, he had to post his own video of the celebratory twerking session.

Way to go Wiz! If these videos are going to become standard procedure, we definitely can’t wait until you get another #1!

A David Lynch-Directed Kanye West Video Could Have Actually Happened

by 4 mins ago

Can you imagine the levels of awesome Kanye West’s “Blood On The Leaves” music video could’ve attained with surrealist filmmaker David Lynch behind the lens?

We sure can, and it almost happened, too!

The acclaimed auteur of “Blue Velvet,” “Mullholland Drive” and the light years-ahead-of-its-time TV show, “Twin Peaks,” was asked to direct the clip for Yeezy’s standout track, but ended up bowing out due to lack of inspiration.

“I didn’t come up with any ideas that I thought he would like,” Lynch told The Daily Beast. “Kanye came up to the house one day. Kanye’s a good guy, and a great musician. I loved the song, and that’s what brought us together, but I couldn’t come up with ideas that thrilled either one of us.”

Lynch is a huge fan of the Yeezus MC, so it’s a safe bet that he’ll get another chance to put his eclectic stamp on a Kanye visual.

Let’s just hope that next time, he can find his muse.

The Weeknd Shows Toronto Pride In His ‘King Of The Fall’ Video

by 19 mins ago

The Weeknd takes a stroll through the streets of his native Toronto in the new video for “King Of The Fall.”

While the melancholy clip is nowhere near as NSFW as his last visual for “Often,” it does feature the requisite amount of beautiful women, in between shots of various T-Dot landmarks like Queen Street.

As the Jean-Michel Basquiat-coifed singer croons about having “all my hoes trained,” night falls and he, obviously, happens upon an underground party.

In the waning seconds of the video, after the party turn up turns down, Mr. Abel Tesfaye walks contemplatively alone down one of his city’s blocks, dressed in a Supreme/North Face coat.

The Weeknd will be hitting the road for the King of the Fall Tour with Jhené Aiko and Schoolboy Q starting September 19 in Brooklyn.

by 27 mins ago

¡Ay Carumba!

Kate Middleton’s a character on “The Simpsons?”

While it’s true that the Duchess of Cambridge has never been to Springfield, you’d never know it looking at artist aleXsandro Palombo’s cartoon renderings of Her Royal Highness.

The Italian illustrator, who is not affiliated with the long-running cartoon in any way, captured the royal fashion icon in a series of sketches wearing almost all of the signature outfits she’s worn in public in a post on the Humor Chic blog called, “Welcome to Buckingham Palace.”

Here’s the “every outfit” sketch, in wich multiple Middletons appear in nearly every graceful outfit Middleton has ever worn in public. Depicted, of course, in front of the famed Buckingham Palace.

‘The Sopranos’ Creator David Chase Doesn’t Want You To Have Closure After All

by 30 mins ago

David Chase giveth and he taketh away.

The creator of HBO’s groundbreaking original series “The Sopranos” appeared to give fans the closure they so desired after 2007’s infamous “fade to black” series finale when he said in a Vox article that “Tony Soprano was not dead.”

Fans who previously felt cheated by the frustratingly ambiguous ending were suddenly relieved to learn the fate of their beloved anti-hero and blew up social media to discuss how their favorite made up character was really alive after all.

Yeah, about that.

According to Chase’s representative, Leslee Dart, the journalist “misconstrued” his statement during their interview when he quoted the showrunner as saying, “Tony Soprano is not dead.”

“As David Chase has said numerous times on the record, ‘Whether Tony Soprano is alive or dead is not the point’,” Chase’s rep said in a statement. “To continue to search for this answer is fruitless. The final scene of THE SOPRANOS raises a spiritual question that has no right or wrong answer.”

So there you have it, mob drama fans.

Your “happy ending” was just returned to sender.

A Robin Williams Biography Is Officially In The Works

by 14 mins ago

Robin Williams’ untimely passing earlier this year on August 11 proved that while the comedian was widely popular and brought laughter and joy to millions worldwide, his personal life was somewhat of a mystery.

That should change in the near future now that Henry Holt plans to publish a high-profile posthumous biography of the comedian’s life.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the publisher announced Wednesday (August 27) that the book will be the “definitive, comprehensive account of Williams’ life.”

Noted New York Times writer Dave Itzkoff, who wrote the newspaper’s front-page obituary and an extensive profile on the Oscar-winning actor, has been tapped to pen the memoir.

“Robin Williams was a cultural hero of mine,” Itzkoff said in a statement. “In the encounters and interactions I was able to share with him, he was always gentle and generous, humane and thoughtful and hilarious.”

The title and publication date have not yet been set.

Watch Your Old Droog Put Those ‘Nas In Disguise’ Rumors To Rest

by 1 min ago

Your imaginary Halloween is over, rap fans.

Your Old Droog is not Nas.

The previously unknown and unseen rapper revealed himself in a viral video titled, “Just Rhymin’ With Skizz,” Tuesday (August 26) and he’s nothing like you imagined.

While it’s true that the rapper with intricate lyrics may sound like the legendary Illmatic MC, he looks nothing like him. The impish, bearded wordsmith is gruff, obviously laser-focused and, surprise, surprise, not even African-American.

“Laid low for some time, made sure every line tight/Sh-t was looking bleak until I got my mind right/Shine the light, the reach of these other rappers is finite,” he raps in a vinyl-laden house studio.

Now that all eyes are on the Coney Island spitter, who draws his lyrical inspiration from the likes of Big L and Kool G Rap, it’ll only be a matter of time before he gets his own shine for just being himself.

“I see all this sh-t as a compliment,” Droog told the New Yorker in reference to the Nas comparisons. “I mean, I should take it as a compliment, right?”
