Watch Bill Murray Do Unmistakably Bill Murray Things In New ‘St. Vincent’ Trailer

by 6 mins ago

By Maurice Bobb

No one does quirky quite like Bill Murray, and that continues with his turn as a retired curmudgeon in the recently released trailer for his new film, “St. Vincent.”

The clip begins with Murray’s Vincent trying to close a bank account only to learn that it’s been overdrawn. Then, while moving in next door, Maggie (Melissa McCarthy) and her movers chop down a tree branch that lands squarely on Vincent’s car, because of course.

As it turns out, Maggie’s a single mother with a young son named Oliver (newcomer Jaeden Lieberher) who’s just as hapless as his mysteriously weird older neighbor.

For $11 an hour, Vincent agrees to watch Oliver after school, beat up bullies and introduce him to the finer points of a life filled with strip clubs, race tracks and ladies of the night.

When a befuddled Maggie asks why her son is mowing the dirt patch in his backyard, Vincent has the perfect response.

“I’m showing him how the world works,” he says. “You work, you get paid, you drink.”

“St. Vincent” is slated to open in theaters nationwide on October 24.

‘Horrible Bosses 2′: Get Your First Look With This Teaser Trailer

by 9 hours ago

By Maurice Bobb

Just when you thought it was safe again to be in charge, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and Jason Bateman return for another scheme to off their higher-ups in “Horrible Bosses 2.”

In the first official teaser trailer for the sequel to 2011’s runaway hit comedy, “Horrible Bosses,” Nick, Dale and Kurt find themselves visiting their former nemesis, Dave Harken (Kevin Spacey), who is in prison for murdering Bobby Pellitt (Colin Farrell).

After Harken serves up a few forced pleasantries to the “guy who saved my life” and the “guy who screwed my wife,” he asks the guys, “So what do you want from me?”

The clip then flashes to a montage of the guys tossing money into the air at the beach, a kidnapping and police car chases while Dean “MF” Jones (Jamie Foxx) waxes poetic about pulling off their plan to kidnap a slick investor’s son for ransom.

While brief, the sneak peak video does offer up some LOL, with the guys getting busted for feigning a supercool slow-motion walk outside of the bar and Nick getting weirded out by Dr. Julia Harris (Jennifer Anniston), who reprises her role as the overly freaky dentist.

“Horrible Bosses” 2 is set to hit theaters on November 26.

Watch Ma$e’s Desert-Hot Video For ‘Nothing’

by 25 mins ago

By Maurice Bobb

For a song called “Nothing,” the perfect location for Ma$e to shoot an accompanying video was, of course, the desert.

The Juwan Lee-directed clip finds the Harlemite speeding down a desert highway in a silver Porsche Panamera before pulling up to a remote gas station/diner.

Once inside, Ma$e meets with a beautiful mystery woman and then leaves riding shotgun in her white droptop Corvette.

After collaborator Eric Bellinger croons the song’s hook, the former Bad Boy MC dives in with his signature laid back flow, “She don’t do burger spots, She like to splurge a lot/And if the twerkin’ stop, It’s ’cause the merchant drop/And you won’t ever catch my chick in a thirsty spot.”

The visuals then bounce from Ma$e and Eric doing the former’s trademark dance to the beach, where they recruit bikini-clad ladies for their pool party at the beach house.

“Nothing” is the first single from his forthcoming LP, Now We Even, which is slated for an October release.

The 2014 BET Awards saved the best for last with a special broadcast performance from Beyoncé and Jay Z’s On The Run Tour to close out the show Sunday (June 29) night.

Although the Carters were not actually in Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, their pre-taped performance was still as exciting.

Hov opened up the clip by taking a seat in a chair onstage under a crimson light as he spit a brand new never-heard-before verse for Bey’s “Partition.”

“Word to Riccardo Tisci, she like ‘Oh my God,’ I’m like ‘Nice to meet me.’/Damn girl you got the Versace, got left curtains open for the paparazzi/ A little TMI for you TMZ,” he rapped.

On cue, Bey emerged from backstage under a spotlight in front of a large digital screen flanked by dancers on stripper poles. The fans in the sold-out arena shrieked with delight as the sultry chanteuse was shown on the big monitors near the stage.

As she sang, “Boy this all for you just walk my way, just tell me how its lookin’ babe/I do this all for you baby just take aim, And tell me how its lookin babe, Lookin’ babe,” in a glittery leotard, the video panned to the hordes of fans singing along.

Usher brought out his “Ursher” alter ego while dancing back into everyone’s hearts at the 2014 BET Awards Sunday (June 29) night.

Dressed in all black with a Russian Ushanka hat, the Atlanta singer took the blacked-out stage at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live and served up an acapella medley of his catalog of hits, starting off with “Nice & Slow” from 1998’s My Way.

Dancing like a whirling dervish, the Confessions crooner ordered everyone in the house to “put yo hands up” after a quick stop on “Yeah!”

Usher then took off his hat before diving into a slowed down version of “You Remind Me” and “U Don’t Have To Call.” After “Caught Up,” he got into a spinning cage to bang on the drums for a few seconds.

This Video Will Make You Want To Do Everything ‘Like A Girl’

by 13 mins ago

By Emilie Cruz
When did the words “like a girl” become an insult?

That’s exactly what Always asks in their “Rewrite the Rules” campaign, perfect for your Friday night fix of girl-power.

In the video, two groups of people are asked what it looks like to run, throw and fight “like a girl”: older men and women, and young girls. The former do silly body gestures and flail their arms, while the young girls leave all that out, with one girl saying running like a girl means doing so “as fast as you can.”

“I think it definitely drops their self confidence, and really puts them down, because during that time they’re already trying to figure themselves out,” one of the older girls Erin says after the experiment. “It’s kind of like telling them that they’re weak, and they’re not as good as them.”

Take a look for yourself… like a girl.
