‘Walking Dead’ Star Takes A Bite Out Of ‘Chew’

Steven Yeun has thing for comic books about weird eating habits.

The actor stars on as Glenn Rhee, the former pizza delivery guy who has been with Rick and Carl Grimes since the earliest days of the zombie apocalypse. These days, he's stuck in a train car in Terminus, positioned to become the next meal for a group of cannibals — an ironic twist of fate, given the flesh-hungry, walker-infested world he already lives in.

But "Walking Dead" isn't the end-all be-all when it comes to Yeun and food-driven comics fare. He's now set to provide the voice for the lead character on "Chew," the upcoming animated adaptation of the comic book from John Layman and Rob Guillory.

"Chew" centers on Tony Chu, a detective and operative for the Food and Drug Administration. He works in a world where chickens have been outlawed thanks to a deadly bird flu. Not that he'd be chomping on chicken to begin with; Chu is a "cibopath," which means that he gleans psychic impressions from anything and everything he eats, except beets.

In other words, if Tony eats an apple, he can tell you exactly where that apple has come from and what it's been through. If he eats a steak, he can see what kind of life the cow lived before winding up as a medium-rare delicacy.

And if he takes a bite out of a corpse? Murder mystery solved.

In addition to Yeun, "The Guild" star Felicia Day has been hired to play Tony's love interest, Amelia Mintz, a food critic ...

The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards Are Going Back To Cali

The VMAs are going back to Cali. After a trip to Brooklyn last year
, the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards
are packing up and headed West again. The August 24 show will take place at the renovated, historic "Fabulous" Forum in Inglewood, California, making it the first major awards show ever at the venue.

The announcement came via a video that had the building's iconic architecture sprayed out on the hood of a car featuring the iconic Moonman as a hood ornament.

"With its incomparable legacy as a world class music venue, the Forum is one of Southern California's most iconic entertainment landmarks," said MTV President Stephen Friedman. "The Forum has hosted some of the most legendary musical artists and performances ever seen and we can't wait to add the 2014 Video Music Awards to this list and create the type of memorable moments that music fans will talk about for years to come."

After a major facelift, the Forum reopened in January, brining state-of-the-art amenities to a building that has recently hosted shows by Justin Timberlake, Imagine Dragons and Kings of Leon. After opening in 1967, the Forum was the home court for the Los Angeles Lakers for more than 30 years, while also hosting legendary gigs by everyone from the Rolling Stones to Madonna, Led Zeppelin, the Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Nirvana and Guns 'N Roses.

‘Avengers,’ ‘Captain America’ Fuel Marvel’s New ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

The Clairvoyant has been revealed, a traitor waits in the shadows, and Coulson and his team are officially Agents of N.O.T.H.I.N.G., now that S.H.I.E.L.D. has been dismantled, thanks to the infiltration of HYDRA. Now, even more of the events from and are beginning to fuel the Marvel Cinematic Universe's small-screen sibling.

On last night's titled "The Only Light in the Darkness," the series continued the breakneck momentum after the extremely eventful and comparatively less-exciting "Providence." More than many other episodes, "Only Light in the Darkness" took its cues from what fans have come to know and love about the Marvel movies.

Here are some highlights:

1. Agent Triplett is the grandson of a Howling Commando. During an interrogation session, Triplett's connection to one of Captain America's original allies came to light. We don't know which member of the Howling Commandos is Triplett's grandfather — some are saying Gabe Jones, but there's really no way of knowing until we get more information. Regardless, it's just another reason to root for Triplett, who is quickly becoming one of the best new characters on the show.

2. Alexander Pierce gets named-checked. Robert Redford's antagonist from "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is dead, but not forgotten. We learn that John Garrett and Pierce were in cahoots, and that Melinda May met the man once upon a time.

3. Patton Oswalt plays S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Eric Koenig. (Well, played, I suppose, seeing as he died at Agent Ward's hands.) But Skye had another nickname for Koenig: "Steve ...

Have Katy Perry’s Tweets Been Kinda Sassy Lately?

Is it just me, or has Katy Perry been hilarious on Twitter lately?

The girl has always had a funny bone (evidenced clearly in the teaser she just put out for her "

So much SASS! So much passive-aggression! I totally get it. Those flower crowns are so 2011. Someone needed to say it.

Ever since then, Katy's been saying everything I've been thinking, but have been too afraid to say out loud. Like that tweet about the breakfast burritos? Who wouldn't want them to pour from the sky?

However, I'm not really onboard with the puppy-breath perfume.

Here, she ruminates on Easter:

Kinda gross, but also strangely picturesque.

Again with the attitude. At least she debunked the mystery of the thin mints.

This last tweet shows that she was funny way before Coachella. #sarcasm

Oh and can we talk about this tweet from Monday? It's so feisty it hurts. Now if only we knew who she was subtweeting...

Lily Allen Has A Message On ‘Sheezus’: ‘Give Me That Crown, Bitch’

Reigning pop stars Lorde, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Beyoncé better watch out because Lily Allen is asking for the crown on her latest single, "Sheezus."

Actually, she's demanding it, saying "give me that crown, bitch" on the latest track off her upcoming third solo album of the same name.

In the accompanying video, the British singer appears wears a hoodie and garish gold chain harmonizing under a blue light, punctuated by psychedelic flashes that ping pong from blue to red to yellow and back again.

With a convincing swagger, the It's Not Me, It's You chanteuse bops to and fro, singing about her menstrual cycle as if she were channeling some Jay Z lyrics: "It makes me angry, I'm serious, but then again, I'm just about to get my period/Periods, we all get periods."

Allen switches up her wardrobe, though, sporting a bob hairdo, bamboo earrings and a yellow strap top, for the portion of the song where she name checks music's biggest divas: "Ri-Ri isn't scared of Katy Perry's roaring, Queen Bey's gone back to the drawing/Lorde smells blood yeah, she's about to slay you, Kid ain't one to f--k with when she's only on her debut/ We're all watching Gaga, LOL haha, dying for the art so really she's a martyr."

The tongue-in-cheek video ekes along, still immersed in hallucinogenic visuals, flipping to a long-haired Allen as a flower child, backlit by sunlight and the cosmos, as she croons with her best look of innocence of her impending pop regime: "Give yourselves to me, I am your ...

‘The Voice’ Recap: Find Out Who Made The Top 10

"The Voice" said goodbye to T.J. Wilkins and Dani Moz Tuesday night (April 22) as underdog Tess Boyer was instantly saved to sing another day.

The first night of live eliminations was filled with stellar performances by Team Adam, Team Blake and Shakira — and a number of Usher selfies.

Shakira showed the artists how it's done when she hit the stage to sing her current hit "Empire," but it wasn't long until her "Voice" empire was threatening to collapse. Two of her three singers, Dani Moz and Tess Boyer, along with Usher's T.J. Wilkins, were in the bottom three and left to have their last chance performances.

But before the pressure was truly on, Levine and his three artists — Delvin Choice, Kat Perkins and Christina Grimmie — started the night off right with a fun and carefree performance of "Sledgehammer," and since all three artists put a sledgehammer in the competition and landed a spot in the top 10, we're thinking it was a fitting song choice.

It must have been good luck for coaches to perform with their teams on elimination night, because all of Team Blake, who hit the stage with Shelton for a guitar heavy performance of "Put Some Drive in Your Country," landed themselves in the top 10. They joined Team Usher's Josh Kaufman, Bria Kelly, and Team Shakira's Kristen Merlin.

For his last chance performance, T.J. Wilkins left his heart on the stage with his performance of "I'll Be," and left his coach proud, Usher even "doing [his] part" by tweeting to save his artist. Team Shakira's Dani ...

Schoolboy Q’s ‘Studio’ Is Bound To Get You In The Mood

Gangstas need love, too. And that's exactly what Schoolboy Q is after in his latest video.

Shot entirely in black and white, the Jerome D.-directed "Studio" opens with Q on FaceTime with his girl. "When are you coming home? It's already 3 a.m.," she asks. "I gotta finish this verse," the TDE rapper says, before making a plea: "Show me something."

The face on the other end does just that, as she holds the camera up at just the right angle to reveal much more than her face. And thus, the tone of the visuals ‒ which later feature some NSFW clips ‒ are set.

Even though Q is a famous rapper, the premise of the song and video is one to which anyone can relate: You'd like to be with that someone that you love (or that someone you're sleeping with), but work's got you tied up. The resulting visuals to the BJ the Chicago Kid-assisted song have a raunchiness to match lyrics.

"This little verse'll get you naked," Q raps at one point, in a line that finds a literal interpretation shortly after. As the evening progresses, the Los Angeles native is stuck in the lab, working on music and lighting up that good, while his girl ‒ girls, actually ‒ try to pass the time.

The track is one of the most mellow on Q's generally energetic Interscope debut, Oxymoron, which hit stores in February. Prior to "Studio," he has dropped videos for "Collard Greens," "Man of the Year," "Break the Bank" and "What They Want."

Watch 50 Cent And His Crew Pop A Wheelie In ‘Chase The Paper’

Going after that green is nothing new for 50 Cent, who recently ranked fifth on Forbes' Hip-Hop's Wealthiest list, and he's back at it in his new video.

"You chase the hoes, I chase the paper," FIf raps on the chorus to the aptly titled "Chase the Paper." Beyond the braggadocio of the track, there's a notable collection of artists that 50 has assembled for his latest. Kidd Kidd is a current G-Unit signee, while Prodigy, as half of Mobb Deep, was on the label last decade before parting ways.

Styles P, meanwhile, used to have issues with 50 Cent ‒ particularly stemming from FIf's beef with Styles' LOX groupmate Jadakiss ‒ before the two put them aside recently.

In March, 50 revealed how the collaboration came to life. He was in the studio with SP and Kiss, playing his new music. "One joint came on and he just, [Styles] went crazy to it," he said. "Styles was like, 'Oh, man, play that again!' And I was like, 'I'mma leave it, you could just get on it.' "

The video, directed by Eif Rivera, finds the Queens rapper and his fellow MCs in tried and true video poses, mugging the camera and rapping their verses. They're surrounded by dozens of cohorts who show off their dirt bike skills, in revved up shots that juxtapose the smoothness of the beat.

"Chase the Paper" proves that 50 Cent has no plans of slowing down or going back on his promises. With his album, Animal Ambition, set to hit stores in June, he's been releasing ...
