Justin Bieber’s Peeing Video: Seriously?!

Great news, defenders of the free press: Thanks to journalists from many major media outlets, if you've been dying to see what Justin Bieber looks like while peeing, your prayers have been answered.

Two days after a Miami-Dade County judge relented to the requests of media outlets — submitted under Florida's rather liberal (!!!) public records law, which allows most evidence in a criminal case to be made available after it's been given to a defendant's legal team — video of Bieber submitting to a drug test (you know, peeing) inside a Miami Beach Police Department bathroom was released.

Or, at least that's what it looks like he was doing; after all, that same judge ordered that Bieber's genitals be censored in the video, since his "right to privacy is paramount." So what we're left with is a clip that's basically just 110 seconds of a black box in baggy shorts, though that didn't stop TMZ from posting the footage as "THE MONEY SHOT."

And while the video doesn't reveal much, what's even less clear is what it has to do with Bieber's DUI case ... nothing in it could charitably be described as "evidence." And as such, it's also unclear why so many media outlets were determined to get their hands on the footage.

Unless, of course, their intent was to exploit and embarrass him; because in that case, uh, score one for the First Amendment!

No matter how you look at it, there seems to be no other purpose behind the release of the footage, which ...

Who Inspired Demi Lovato’s Shaved Hairdo? Meet Cole Plante

Demi Lovato just about broke the Internet on Tuesday after plastering Twitter with photos of her new .

From Fifth Harmony's Dinah Jane Hansen — "Hot," she tweeted with a row of fire Emojis — to Perez Hilton — "Excuse me while I go catch my breath and cry because I can't handle all this fierceness," — Lovatics of all ages went nuts when seeing the singer's surprise 'do.

So when we here at MTV News sat down with Cole Plante, who serves as the house DJ on Demi's Neon Lights Tour, we couldn't help but notice how similar the pair's cuts and colors were.

"I'm not going to make any comment about inspiration but I think somebody might have inspired her to get a certain haircut," the 17-year-old laughed when asked about the striking resemblance. "It was cool, I saw the Twitter picture first that she posted where everyone was freaking out about the hair and I was like, 'Oh, I wonder what it looks like,' and then she came out onstage and I was just like, 'look at that, it's [shaved on] the same side,' so it's pretty cool."

Whether or not he was in fact Demi's muse, Cole says he's a total fan of her new locks.

"She has that, like, really nice, vibrant pink and now I have this red, [which] will eventually turn pink. So at one point on this tour we'll have the same exact hair. I'll just let this come down a couple of inches," he said while exhibiting their difference in length.

Jared Leto’s Next Project May Be A Sexy Sequel …

Since Jared Leto took a five-year break from acting before his Oscar-winning turn as Rayon in ," in the days since the Academy Awards, everyone is wondering what he'll do for an encore.

As he told MTV News earlier this week, Leto's next move may be to the director's chair; as he's currently "looking for a feature film to direct ... a feature-length narrative."

Of course, for fans of Thirty Seconds To Mars, that's not surprising ... after all, Leto — or, uh, Bartholomew Cubbins — has directed almost all of the band's so-called "short films," including epics like "From Yesterday," and and their recent documentary

And while Leto is searching for a feature film, he may also make a return to his music-video roots ... as he and his Mars mates are kicking around the idea of making another epic. And this one might be familiar to his fans.

"We are, right now, plotting and planning," Leto said. "I would love to do a sequel to 'Hurricane,' maybe that would be 'Bright Lights' or 'Do Or Die,' which could be another single here in the U.S. We're figuring things out. Lots of, as they say, good problems to have."

But before Leto can even begin thinking about Mars' next short film, there's the matter of the band's seemingly endless world tour, which is set to hit the Ukraine next week.

And given the current unrest in the country — and the support Leto expressed for protestors during his Oscar acceptance speech (words that ...

Why Batkid’s Big Oscars Moment Didn’t Happen

Despite all the big wins and magic moments at Sunday's Academy Awards, Oscar night was a big disappointment for one small superhero.

Batkid, a.k.a. Miles Scott, the five year-old cancer survivor whose Make-a-Wish Foundation moment saw San Francisco transformed into Gotham City for one magical day last October, was meant to appear on the Oscars stage as part of a special segment in keeping with the show's "heroes" theme.

But his appearance was sadly cancelled the day of the awards, when presenter Andrew Garfield — who was set to introduce the tiny defender of justice — pulled out at the last minute. The mashup of movie clips meant to precede Scott's cameo was instead presented by "Captain America" actor Chris Evans, who apparently hadn't planned to attend the ceremony but was able to fill in on the fly.

As if this weren't heart-wrenching enough on its own, the Mashable report on the Batkid snub has a photo from the Saturday rehearsal for the awards shows Miles standing onstage amid a set designed to look like nighttime Gotham, with the word "BATKID" prominently featured.

To Garfield's credit, the actor would not have pulled out of the event for spurious reasons. Additionally, it's unclear why, given Evans was filling in for Garfield anyway that the erstwhile Captain America couldn't induct Batkid. As of this time, there has been no comment from the Academy.

By way of apology for the snafu, the Academy reportedly sent Batkid and his family to Disneyland instead.
