Wiz Khalifa’s Under The Influence Of Music Tour Returns: See Who’s Joining Him

It's safe to assume that concertgoers and performers alike will be under the influence of a lot more than just music at this summer's Under the Influence of Music Tour. Even so, with the cast of characters set to perform, the music on its own should get fans pretty high.

Headlined by Wiz Khalifa, the tour will also feature Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, Mack Wilds, Rich Homie Quan, Iamsu!, Sage the Gemini, and DJ Drama. With 22 dates that span from late July through late August, the show is hitting California, Wisconsin, New York and plenty in between.

This is the third straight year that Wiz has rolled out the Under the Influence of Music Tour. The first time around, he was joined by fellow Pittsburgh native Mac Miller, as well as Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q. Last summer, A$AP Rocky was in on the fun, with B.o.B and Joey Bada$$ also along for the ride.

This year's installment seems ripe for sprinkles of shared set time. The artists on the bill have a handful of collaborations between them: Wiz was featured on Ty Dolla's "Or Nah"; Iamsu! was all over Sage the Gemini's album Remember Me; DJ Drama tapped Tyga for his single "So Many Girls"; and on Tuesday (April 22), Iamsu! released "What You 'Bout," featuring Wiz, to name a few.

SoMo Takes Us Behind His ‘Sensual And Sexual’ Debut

It all started November 14, 2009 when Joseph Somers-Morales, best known by his grade school nickname SoMo, uploaded a cover — or as he refers to it, a "rendition" — of Chris Brown's "Crawl."

More than 92 million views and 486,000 subscribers later, the 26-year-old from Austin, Texas has released a self-titled debut and is now singing the lyrics to his own songs, including lead single "Ride."

"'Ride' is one of the first songs I wrote, so just because it's kind of my baby, it felt right, but the audience kind of chose that as the first single, it really just stuck out, stood out, in the eyes of everyone," SoMo told MTV News. "'Ride' comes off very sensual and sexual at first, you know, to a lot of people, but for me, that song, I wrote, I was really in love and basically I was saying I'm going to ride or die for your love and I'm a sensual person so it kind of went into that and it just describes the transcendence of the emotional part of love going into the physical part."

For someone who hasn't heard of SoMo, the R&B crooner describes his sound as "very soulful," pulling inspiration from several genres.

"A lot of [today's] music has a big influence on me, like Miguel and Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR, you know, that's what I've been listening to a lot lately," he said. "But I also listen to a lot of, like, country and rock."

Beyonce Drops New Music With Power Producer Boots

Beyoncé has gone and dropped new music — totally sans fanfare — yet again. This time, she's featured on producer Boots' new track, "Dreams."

Boots, a.k.a. Jordy Asher, got more than a little musical shine at the end of 2013 when Bey dropped her self-titled album out of the blue, his name all over the credits. Asher produced much of the record and wrote several tracks as well, including "Heaven."

Tuesday (April 22), he shared that shine with Bey once more on a brand-new track.

"Dreams" is a little sliver of sunshine of a song, a burbling duet between Asher and Bey that makes us think of spring. All the proceeds from the song, according to a Facebook post from Boots, will go to Day One, a non-profit devoted to preventing teen dating violence.

Asher told Vogue that the steps leading to the collaboration were pretty simple: He sent the track to 'Yonce, she sent it back — with vocals.

"I love that the song has me and what I'm doing in my realm and her and what she's doing in hers, and it's so completely opposite but they work incredibly together," he said. "It's the greatest kind of cosign you could get, from someone who truly, truly believes in you. As gifted and as brilliant as she is, and she is, to be able to believe in me in that regard is a really special thing."

When Beyoncé's album dropped in December of 2013, there was much speculation and curiosity surrounding the identity of Boots. ...

Drew Barrymore Gives Birth To Second Daughter

Drew Barrymore's family just got a little bigger. The star and her husband, art consultant Will Kopelman, welcomed their second daughter on Tuesday (April 22).

"Happy to announce that today we are the proud parents of our second daughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman," the couple told People in a statement. "Olive has a new little sister, and everyone is healthy and happy!""and everyone is healthy and happy!"

Just two days before giving birth, Barrymore posted photos to her Instagram account showing her satisfying her pregnancy cravings with a little Dim Sum brunch.

Barrymore announced her second pregnancy back in November and admitted on the I "Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she did get "bigger" during her second pregnancy because she would "just eat everything I want, which isn't healthy."

"My doctor the other day was like, 'Yeah, so I think maybe pull back a little bit' and I was like 'really?," she said. "I thought I was doing great! I still fit into those jeans, I mean, they hurt when I wear them but I'm still in them...'"

Back in September of 2013, Barrymore told InStyle magazine that she had every intention to expand her family since she was an only child and "it was lonely."

"Some people love it and thrive on the independence, but I want my kids to have other kids around," Barrymore said. "Maybe two kids so they can run around life together, roll their eyes at their parents together like Rusty and Audrey Griswold from '[National Lampoon's] Vacation.' So however that's going to come about, it's ...

Mack Wilds Will Help You Dump Your Cold-Weather Boo

You won't find "cuffing season" on any calendar, but it's drawing to a close.

The logic is shallow, but simple: stay single through the summer and then figuratively handcuff a mate through the long and cold winter months. So what happens when the days get longer and you have to find a way to get back to being single?

The practice has become so popular that rapper Fabolous even wrote a song titled "Cuffin Season" on his The Soul Tape 3.

"There's no easy way to get out of cuffing season," Mack Wilds advised when he sat with MTV News on Thursday.

On his Grammy-nominated debut LP New York: A Love Story, Mack sings of finding and letting go of love. On "My Crib" Wilds finds love in the club and then eventually lets his fling down easy on "Keepin it Real."

"Can't be cuffed, no need copping a plea," he sings, after letting a young lady know: "We both know you'll never get a ring."

Mack doesn't have any fool-proof methods, but suggests that if you're going to let someone go, just let it be a clean break.

"Yeah you just gotta find a way, you have to find a way and hopefully you didn't do anything that makes those cuffs have to be permanent—if you know what I mean," he said. "Make sure that you're able to take those cuffs off."

Iggy Azalea’s The New Classic: 4 Songs You Have To Hear

It's been a long time coming, but Iggy Azalea has finally dropped her debut album The New Classic. The LP was led by the catchy singles "Work" and "Fancy," but there are still a few additional gems to be found throughout the course of 15 tracks.

"Change Your Life" feat. T.I.

Iggy gets some assistance from her Grand Hustle CEO, T.I., on this one, and who better for this feature than the man who also taught you how important it is to "Live Your Life." On the upbeat track, Iggy urges a guy to really upgrade his life, more specifically telling him to, "Hop out your past life/ And I'll renovate your future." Cause honestly, there's really no reason to even bother "dealing with basic bitches."

"F--k Love"

Ever have one of those days when you're really feeling yourself? So much so, that somebody should probably put a couple more mirrors in the room so you can stare at yourself? Iggy Azalea definitely has those days. That's apparent from the lyrics on "F--k Love," an ass-shaking number that's all but oozing with confidence. Sick of your boyfriend right now? Just send him this quick memo, "f--k love, give me diamonds."

"Black Widow" feat. Rita Ora

Iggy landed a feature from Roc Nation singer, Rita Ora, on "Black Widow" — but Katy Perry also worked her magic on the track, which captures the fallout when love turns sour. Perry was responsible for penning part of the hook (which is slightly reminiscent of her hit "Dark Horse), making it clear to a recent flame that, "I'm ...

Eminem, Outkast To Headline ACL Music Festival: See The Lineup

It turns out Eminem's big announcement Tuesday (April 22) wasn't that's got a line of cowboy hats coming out, like we hoped. But the alternative isn't so bad, either.

"DO-SI-DO now.. I'm at both weekends of @aclfestival -- Oct. 3-5 & Oct. 10-12! Get your tickets today at http://aclfestival.com/tickets ," the rapper tweeted, confirming (another one of our guesses) that he's headlining this year's Austin City Limits Music Festival.

As if the Rap God wasn't a big enough draw alone, the 13th annual ACL has plenty of other heavyweights on the bill that are sure to make it a top draw this fall. Outkast, who kicked off their unofficial reunion tour at Coachella ‒ which seems to hit just about every major festival for the rest of the year ‒ are also on board.

The festival features a diverse lineup beyond just hip-hop, too. Pearl Jam, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Beck, Lana Del Rey and Lorde are among the other big names who will headline to the two-weekend event in early October.

Just a few months before heading to Texas for ACL, Em will be embarking on his Monster Tour alongside Rihanna, which begins August 7.

Tickets and more information about the Austin City Limits Music Festival available now at the official site.
