‘Girls’: All Of Marnie’s Plans For The Group’s Beach Trip

We all have that friend, right? The over-planner, the one who has all these crazy-high expectations for group hangs and epic nights, then is let down when that uncommunicated plan of action isn't carried out. The — oh, let's just say it: The Marnie.

In this week's episode of "Girls," "Beach House," Marnie out-Marnies herself with a passive-aggressive trip to the North Fork (not the Hamptons, where, as she hilariously scoffs, the beach is far too close to J. Crew) for the group to "heal." Not that she tells them that.

The weekend, needless to say, does not go as Marnie hoped. Unplanned activities include the consumption of many North Fork Fizzes, a dinner party exceeding four guests and Hannah's ultimate refusal to wear pants for essentially the entire weekend.

For the record, here's everything Marnie Michaels had planned for the "Girls" beach weekend.

» Have fun together.

» Prove to everyone via Instagram that we can still have fun as a group.

» Healing.

» Healing at dinner.

» Face masks.

» Watch "The Queens of Comedy."

» Write our wishes down on pieces of paper and then throw them into the bonfire so they come true.

» Grocery shopping.

» Eat julienne vegetable salad (for four) from "The Art of French Cooking."

» Have Gerald teach them that dance.

» Do the dance one more time and make it really, really perfect.

‘True Detective’: Who The Hell Is The Yellow King?

The following contains spoilers for this week's "True Detective."

First of all, to all of those excited for the big gunfight between Rust and Marty and Reggie Ledoux, sorry you were let down. The teased confrontation between our detectives and the number-one suspect in the murder of Dora Lange turned out to be anything but true.

The cover-up constructed for the authorities did more than hide Marty's execution of Reggie. It also took the drug cook's echoing of phrases like "black star" and "the Yellow King" — mysterious ramblings we heard in the premiere — off the record.

"It's time, isn't it?" Reggie says while in handcuffs. "The black stars rise. I know what happens next. I saw you in a dream. You're in Carcosa now with me. He sees you. You'll do this again. Time is a flat circle."

Pretty ominous, huh? If you've been a faithful "True Detective" viewer, you know that this imagery has been mentioned with growing frequency since it was first mentioned in Dora Lange's diary and in a drugged-out phone call to her ex, Charlie. Evidence showed up this week, thanks to the late Guy Leonard Francis, to suggest that the Yellow King is the real menace and still on the loose, killing people.

So what's the deal with the Yellow King? We presumably won't know the specifics of how he's connected to Dora Lange until the next episodes air, but there are already clues outside the confines of your TV about what it all might mean. Jeff Jensen from Entertainment Weekly noticed back in the first ...

‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’: Get Your First Good Look At The Green Goblin

In "Amazing Spider-Man 2," the web-slinger faces his greatest battle yet: Electro (Jamie Foxx), the Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan), and... Paul Giamatti without pants? That's what we found out when we checked out Diamond Select's offerings at Toy Fair New York, as well as a good (miniature) look at the Green Goblin, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" hero The Falcon, and one surprise we'll leave to the end.

First off, we previously revealed most of Diamond's "Winter Soldier" line, with the exception of The Falcon, so here you go:

On to "Amazing Spider-Man 2," Diamond will be releasing busts of the main characters, including a detailed look at Green Goblin we can't show you. Suffice to say, he's got some tall, tall hair. But we can show you their line of Minimates.

Releasing in April, the set comes in pairs including Electro and Spider-Man with firehat on (a scene directly from the movie); and Peter Parker, with Gwen in an outfit familiar to comic book fans. We wont spoil the classic scene, but suffice to say it's one of the most divisive in the character's history:

More importantly, there's the first really good look at the Green Goblin, though in block-like form. This confirms the previous glimpses we've had of the character in trailers, that he'll wear some sort of green/tech armor, and have a hideously mutated face. Though you can't see it here, DeHaan's ears were pointed in the bust, as well:

And here's Paul Giamatti, who suits ...
