Miley Cyrus ‘Can’t Quit Crying’ In The Hospital

Miley Cyrus is "over the hospital," and we don't blame her. The pop star has been lying in a hospital bed since Tuesday after reportedly suffering a to antibiotics.

The illness has forced her to cancel at least two shows on her Bangerz Tour, in Kansas and St. Louis.

The concert cancellations have made Cyrus a very unhappy patient. The singer has vocal about her disappointment, posting a photo of herself in the hospital on Instagram early Thursday morning (April 17) with the caption, "I miss #bangerztour #5amhospyselfie so sleeeeepy #medztime," and a few more hashtags about wishing she could cuddle with her recently deceased dog Floyd, and another asking who jinxed her with all of this bad luck.

Cyrus also hit Twitter to further vent her frustrations writing, "Can't quit crying i wanna go back on tour."

As to what landed Cyrus in the hospital in the first place, a rep for the "We Can't Stop" singer told E! News that she "was suffering a sinus infection during her tour in N.C. a week ago. She was prescribed the antibiotic cephalexin which she has now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to," adding that this "type of extreme reaction can last from 5 to 27 days in these types of cases."

According to the rep, Miley will remain hospitalized until her condition improves. She is said to be "devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans," but that was clear from her status updates.

Cyrus is next scheduled to hit the stage Friday in Nashville, with ...

Drake Sued Over ‘Pound Cake’ Sample

"Only real music is gonna last. All the other bulls--- is here today and gone tomorrow." Wise words from a wise man.

Who was that man? Late jazz singer Jimmy Smith, whose voice was sampled by Drake on his hook-up with Jay Z on

The 35-second monologue helps set up epic tales of both men's epic successes and is one of the highlights of Nothing Was The Same.

There's just one problem: Smith's estate argues in a lawsuit that despite claims in the album's liner notes that Drake's team legally sampled the bit from the 1982 song "Jimmy Smith Rap," the proper license wasn't obtained.

According to TMZ, no permission was ever given to use the snippet and now Smith's estate is seeking more than $300,000 in compensation from Drake, Cash Money and others. A spokesperson for Drake could not be reached for comment on the suit.

50 Cent Calls Diddy’s New Single ‘Garbage,’ Compares Him To Milli Vanilli

50 Cent has never been the biggest Diddy fan and Puff's new single won't do anything to change that.

"Puff still out there, he don't even need a record, 'cause he don't got one," 50 said to Baltimore's 92Q Jams this week. "You know Puff ain't got no music that you want to hear, that 'Big Homie' sh-- is garbage."

Fif, who is on a promo run to amp up his June 3 Animal Ambition album, didn't just offer up his opinion — the comment came after he was speaking with radio hosts AJ and AngelBaby about longevity in rap.

"If the guy doesn't have a significant savvy with the actual business or the actual culture, he'll be out of here. You'll see [Jay Z] around along as he's been around. What he's on like 11 albums," 50 said after he was asked if there was an "expiration date" on his own career.

The G-Unit boss then turned his attention toward Diddy, whom he has no problem criticizing through the years. In 2006, 50 Cent dropped "Hip-Hop," a mixtape track where he called Diddy "soft" for not retaliating in the aftermath of the Notorious B.I.G.'s murder in 1997. At the end of the song he went on about his failed deal with former Bad Boy artist Ma$e.

The two collaborated on a number of tracks, including Fif's 2007 "I Get Money" remix, but that has never stopped 50 from going at the Bad Boy CEO.

"I'ma keep it all the way real with you, because the guy said, 'Don't worry about if ...

Kelis Would Rather Cook Sauces Than Beef With Ex Nas

Kelis does not play. Ask if her new Feast line of sauces is the hip-hop equivalent of late actor Paul Newman's line of Newman's Own condiments and she'll draw a blank on "what Paul Newman's situation is."

Maybe inquire about why it was important for her to move on from the signature sound she created with Pharrell Williams and the Neptunes on her early albums to prove she could be successful on her own, and the Ginsu-sharp replies are just as cutting. "It wasn't so much about if I could be successful without them, because they wanted to see if they could be successful without me," she says. "We started off together. It wasn't like I had anything to prove to them."

But ask her about what ex-husband Nas, is up to lately and, well, she just kind of draws a blank there.

In a recent interview with the New York Times, the "Bossy" singer and host of the Cooking Channel's new show, "Saucy & Sweet," was asked how she felt about Nas putting her wedding dress on the cover of his 2012 Life is Good album.

"It's not even the dress," she said in answer to why the rap superstar still had her iconic green gown. "The joke behind that is that it's the slip to the petticoat to my dress. I think when I moved out I just left it. That's all he had, poor thing."

Kelis said she didn't find out about the album cover
until two days before it was released ...

‘The Rover’: Watch Robert Pattinson In The New Trailer Now

The trailer for "The Rover," starring Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce, is here. It's the latest film from director David Michôd, and it's a post-apocalyptic crime drama. Pattinson plays Rey, a young gang member abandoned by his pals after he's injured (harsh, guys. Way harsh.). He meets Eric (Pearce), who, conveniently, is searching for that very same gang after they steal from him. Watch yourself, gang members — guy looks pissed.

The trailer for the movie, which will screen at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival in May, features all of the following: incomprehensible accents, several bleak and dramatic taglines that seem likely suspects for t-shirts worn at a poetry slam ("the center cannot hold," for example), Pattinson huddled under a blanket and Pearce scowling. A lot. If you're looking for plenty of scowls and dramatic music, look no further.

If you're looking for an excuse not to visit post-law Australia, well, that's in the trailer too. It doesn't look like quite the sun-soaked vacation we've always pictured when thinking about the Land Down Under.

In addition to the new trailer, character posters for the flick were just released. Check them out:

We're looking forward to getting our serious on with our ol' pal Edward, so the film's release can't come soon enough.

"The Rover" is due in theaters June 20. Scoot McNairy and Gillian Jones co-star.

‘Time Is Illmatic’: How Queensbridge Made Nas

NEW YORK — When Nasir Jones was about 13 or 14 years old, his father told him and his brother Jabari that if school wasn't nurturing them, they should drop out. An exceedingly well-read, Mississippi-born jazz musician who went by his "ancestral name" of Olu Dara, the father looked around at the Queensbridge Houses where his sons and their mother had settled and gambled that his boys could do better on their own. A young, precocious Nas took him up on the offer.

In the soulful new documentary which kicked off the Tribeca Film Festival on Wednesday night, filmmakers Erik Parker and One9 pick up the narrative just as Nas is trying to figure out how to transcend his surroundings. It's New York City in the mid-1980s, and like many New York City 'hoods and housing projects, Queensbridge has been ravaged by the crack cocaine epidemic and gun violence.

Having acknowledged that jail will be as far from public housing as many of his homeys will get — "never Harvard or Yale" — the 8th-grade dropout becomes determined to make something of the rhymes he's been writing since about age 8. We learn that his doting mom, Ann Jones, provides the love and protection, while roaming dad Olu, gives his offspring the musical and intellectual education. Early on, there are jazz records playing and the shelves are lined with books like Ivan Van Sertima's "They Came Before Columbus" and "The Autobiography of Malcolm X." And, maybe most important, there's hip-hop.

By the time, Nas is penning lyrics for what will ...

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart And Ryan Gosling Are All Heading To Cannes

The Cannes Film Festival is a guaranteed hot spot for big screen talent and A-list celebrities, and based on this year's recently announced line-up, 2014 won't be much different.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Channing Tatum and Ryan Gosling all have films heading to France next month, and each of the movies just so happens to be one really worth getting excited about.

Recently, we've brought you some updates about "The Rover," David Michôd's highly anticipated follow-up to "Animal Kingdom." The near future-set crime thriller follows a desperate man (Guy Pearce) who is dead-set on tracking down the men who stole his car and left behind one of their own (Pattinson). Michôd made such an impression with his first feature that this dreary Outback noir is sure to turn heads with its midnight Cannes premiere.

As if having one movie at Cannes wasn't enough, Pattinson also appears in "Maps to the Stars," the next film from his "Cosmopolis" director David Cronenberg.

Like her "Twilight" co-star, Stewart has consistently picked interesting projects since leaving behind the world of vampires and werewolves. She's returning to Cannes after appearing there with "On the Road" two years ago, and her new film comes with even more prestige behind it. "Clouds of Sils Maria" comes from director Olivier Assayas, who is on hot streak after helming the mini-series "Carlos" and the very well-received "Something in the Air."

Channing Tatum will continue to blaze trails with his first appearance at Cannes. He stars in "Foxcatcher," the Bennett Miller-directed drama that was pushed from this ...

Who Should Play Jennifer Lawrence’s Leading Men In ‘East Of Eden’?

A lot has been made of the "one book, two movies" (or more, if you're "The Hobbit") trend in Hollywood, but in the case of one massive classic from the American literary canon, two films are definitely better than one. But when it comes to an epic like "East of Eden," who should star?

The movie, based on John Steinbeck's book by the same name, is being considered for a split into two feature-length films according to writer/director Gary Ross. The project has been on the director's to-do list since last year, when Jennifer Lawrence, who first worked with Ross on "The Hunger Games," expressed an interest in playing a part in a big-screen version of Steinbeck's classic novel.

A sprawling work that follows a family through three generations of drama, betrayal, ruin, and redemption, "East of Eden" packs an enormous amount of drama into its pages — and it's no surprise that Lawrence is champing at the bit to play Cathy Ames, the sly and manipulative woman who carves a path of seductive destruction through the heart of the story and every character in it.

But where J-Law has always been attached to this project, there's a total dearth of information about who will play the men whose brotherhood is torn asunder by her character. Which leaves us free to play Casting Couch!

Who are our picks for these hapless guys? Assuming that the same actors will be playing these characters in both their youthful and middle-aged incarnations, we'd like to pluck a pair of very A-list bros ...
