The Best Celebrity Costumes Of Yester-Year, Including Will Smith, Christina Aguilera And More!

Pete Wentz
Looks like little Wentz was all dark and brooding long before taking the stage with Fall Out Boy. Here he is with his brother and sister, kitted out like a vampire.

"I liked the idea of going all in on Halloween every year," he told MTV News. "This was one of my favorites — it feels good to have been this early on the 'Twilight' trend."

Ever a perfectionist, the little sucker came prepared for the night of tricks and treats. "I only remember having my mom get me like a thousand extra blood capsules so it would look gory at every house we hit," he said.

You could say he was thoroughly un-"Dead on Arrival," no?

Jack Antonoff, fun.

Kim Kardashian Calls Her Sexy Selfie A ‘Middle Finger To The World’

Kim Kardashian will soon be wearing a white dress when she walks down the aisle to marry Kanye West. But it was a white bathing suit she rocked in a selfie earlier this month that has already caused a stir.

Kardashian opened up about that photo when she sat down with Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show," explaining why she wanted to post it. "I was trying on a bathing suit and I actually just sent that to my boyfriend [Kanye] and I was like, 'Babe, can I post this up? This is like my big, like, middle finger to the world on everyone that called me fat,' " she said Wednesday night.

The reality starlet then addressed the criticism she received for gaining weight when she got pregnant. She says she has lost 50 pounds since giving birth to North back in June. "It really hurt my soul," she said. "It changed how I am in the public a little bit...There were these stories where I was, like, 200 pounds. I was gaining weight because I was pregnant and it was really hard to read all these stories and hear all these nasty things."

With her friends and family around, Kanye asked Kim to marry him, in an epic ballpark proposal last week on her birthday. She insists she knew nothing about it.

"It was honestly the most magical night of my life," she said. "I thought I was going to San Francisco because Kanye is in the middle of his Yeezus tour. He had a show ...

No Party, No Problem: What To Watch, Read And Listen To On Halloween

If the prospect of donning a needlessly sexy costume and twerking next to some Beetlejuice wannabe at a cramped club gives you the heebie-jeebies, you're not alone. Which is why your friends at MTV News have compiled a helpful Halloween-themed pop-culture planner, to ensure your October 31 isn't all for naught.

Here you'll find the best in scary viewing, reading and listening. So dim the lights, leave the candy on the porch for the kids and snuggle up with these All Hallows' Eve enjoyments! (Warning: We are not responsible for fainting spells or soiled underpants.)

IN THEATERS
Unless you find kiddie space cadets or sexagenarian bachelor parties particularly chilling, this week's releases probably won't satisfy your horror itch — but there are a few holdovers that'll do the trick. Stephen King's seminal has been re-imagined by Kimberly Peirce with actress Chloe Grace Moretz on the wrong side of a bucket of pig's blood, while James Wan's terrifying ghost tale "Insidious" gets a sequel appropriately titled

STREAMING
Netflix and Hulu are your best bet for many of the horror classics. And by "classics," we mean films likely made before your parents were born. Vintage vids on Netflix include "House on Haunted Hill," "The Wolfman," "Nosferatu," and "The Bride of Frankenstein," while Hulu boasts (under its "Huluween" banner — boo!) "The Little Shop of Horrors," "Night of the Living Dead" and "The Cat and the Canary." If it's the "new classics" you're looking for, don your tattered flannel and dig into "Scream" or "The Crow" on Netflix. (Hulu's also lousy ...

Throwback Halloween: The Best Celebrity Costumes Of Yester-Year

In just a few hours, you'll be inundated with all the celebrity Halloween costumes you can handle. Will Miley Cyrus dress up in a Miley Cyrus costume? Who will awkwardly show up wearing the same racist costume as another celebrity, at the same party? And will we finally get to see someone, literally anyone, dress as a "sexy cat"?

While you wait, though, why not take a walk down memory lane, and check out some of the best — and weirdest — celebrity costumes of yester-year:

Will Smith in 1993 has a disturbing premonition of "After Earth."

One and a half men? Ashton Kutcher is telling Wilmer Valderrama in 2002.

Paris Hilton in 2005, probably thinking it's Easter.

Christina Aguilera in 2005, dressed as Sexy Future Reality TV Competition Host.

2004 P Diddy would like to know if you all like Gladiator movies.

Would you believe that in 2003, this was his "Sexy Adam Brody" costume?

2002 Kevin Richardson dressed as a grim specter of his future career.

We'll say this: that tall kid has an awesome George W. Bush costume.

Not many women age well, but Demi Moore definitely looks way better now than she did in 1997.

What's your favorite throwback costume? Let us know in the comments below.

Miley Cyrus Cops Lil’ Kim’s Boob-tastic VMA Look For Halloween

While the world is trying to recreate Miley Cyrus' 2013 twerk-ready VMA look this Halloween, Miley is paying homage to one of the most iconic looks to ever grace the VMAs stage: Lil' Kim's 1999 outfit.

In case you don't remember what Kim's infamous pantsuit looked like, we'll remind you. It was a sequined, lavender get-up that left very little to the imagination. In fact, half of the top part was missing leaving Kim's left breast exposed, with just a perfectly placed purple pasty. The look was so provocative and enticing that Diana Ross even gave her breast a tap when they appeared on the stage together.

Leave it to Miley to recreate the look, getting every detail — including the straight wig, very '90s pastel hue and makeup palette — right. She may have previously gotten some advice from the Queen Bee herself when they shot the video for "Twisted" together earlier this year.

Miley wore the look to a party attended by her Wiz Khalifa and his wifey, Amber Rose, on Wednesday night.

Earlier on Wednesday, Miley made headlines when she Instagrammed a photo of the "Pornkinzzz" she put out. What are "Pornkinzzz"? Pumpkins with naughty images carved into them. Happy Halloween!

Throwback Thursday: Outkast Bring ‘Stankoween’ To ‘TRL’

It's Throwback Thursday again, and while you might be bummed that the Psy costume from last year is a bit tighter around the waist than you remember, we've been busy digging in the crates for some ghosts of Halloween past. And we unearthed a classic from October 31, 2003, when Outkast were just starting their journey into music history
with the record-setting double-solo album, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below by dropping in to visit "TRL."

Though co-host La La dressed up in her Cleopatra best, 'Kast kept it ice cold by showing up as themselves. Andre 3000 sported a kind of preppy French film director look — high-cuffed jeans, striped shirt, blue hat, sunglasses, red tie and red sweater over his shoulders — while partner Big Boi looked equally dapper in a black suit with matching leather bucket hat. In other words, they dressed up as Outkast.

The Andre song that would propel them to infinity, "Hey Ya!," had been out for almost two months at that point, while Big Boi's companion #1 smash, "The Way You Move" had haunted radio for most of October.

The talk that day, though, was all about Halloween. Asked if he ever dressed up as kids, Andre said, "of course, I think every kid did." He then ticked off the list of his greatest costume hits: Superman, Dallas Cowboys player, Dracula (with a shout-out to the Speakerboxxx/The Love Below song "Dracula's Wedding," of course). It sounded like the costume box was a little bit more modest at Big's house back in the day. "We used to have ...
