Throwback Thursday: Underage Bieber Celebrates Halloween In A Very Adult Nightclub In 2007

We know how Justin Bieber will be spending Halloween, since the latest date on his Believe Tour will be hitting Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa in Quito, Ecuador, tonight (October 31). But long before he was selling out major venues, Bieber still made some time to celebrate the spooky holiday.

For the Halloween edition of MTV's Throwback Thursday, we're traveling back to fall 2009, when a tattoo-free Bieber was only 15 and not yet the pop megastar he is today. He was even rocking his signature swoop haircut (remember that?). During the vintage MTV News sit-down, Bieber recalled a very adult Halloween he celebrated in Atlanta two years prior.

"It was me and [my manager], Scooter Braun. Yes, Scooter Braun. Yeah, the guy that flew me out to Atlanta. So, he took me to a nightclub. How irresponsible is that?" Bieber joked. "He took me to a nightclub but it was OK, because I went with Keri Hilson as my date, so that was great."

Not only did Bieber have a date 11 years his senior, but he also had a pretty clever costume inspired by one of the characters on "Family Guy." "It was awesome. I was dressed, I put on a Stewie mask and ... I would just stand there like I was a statue and people thought I was like a prop or something. And then I would jump out and scare them," he added. "It was pretty funny."

And the video is pretty darn funny. Click for yourself and check out how many times he flips that famous ...

Chance The Rapper Says Violence Has Made Chicago A ‘Scummy’ City

Some of the most influential artists in hip-hop are natives of Chicago — Kanye West, Common and Lupe Fiasco, to name a few — and while the city is brimming with talent, Chance the Rapper wants to make it clear that the city has become 'scummy' and consumed by violent crime that no one's dealing with head-on.

Over the past year, horrifying statistics have continued to emerge from Chicago, with murder rates skyrocketing, earning the city the title of "murder capital of the U.S." this year. During his visit to on Wednesday (October 30), Chance was very blunt about his feelings on the city's downward spiral.

The 20-year-old delved into the lyrics of his Acid Rap single "Acid Rain," breaking down the significance of the lines, "My big homey died young, just turned older than him/ I seen it happen, I seen it happen, I see it always/ He still be screaming, I see his demons in empty hallways."

Chance explained that he watched one of his close friends, the aspiring rapper Rodney Kyles Jr., die, two years ago after being stabbed in a street fight.

"I watched it happen," he said solemnly. "He was 19 when it happened, I was 18, and I just turned 20 this year. It's just crazy because I have a few friends that were older than me, but now I'm older than them.

"That put a lot of things into perspective for me," he added. "So there's a lot of lyrics about that specific event."

Chance was straightforward, explaining that he's baffled ...

"I think we're really in a season right now of being really excited about the future, but also, you know, there's a certain heaviness that comes with closing a chapter and understanding that we have the best fans in the world and have for our entire career," Nick shared Wednesday morning.

The Jonas Brothers In Better Times

Chris Brown’s Rehab Stint: What’s Anger Management Like?

Less than a day after he spent 36 hours behind bars
in connection with an assault case in Washington D.C., Chris Brown appears headed for a serious stay at a rehab facility in Malibu, California to deal with his anger issues.

Brown, who was ordered to undergo anger management training as part of his guilty plea to felony assault in connection with his 2009 beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna, has a history of violent outbursts. According to his lawyer and spokesperson, his trip to rehab is an attempt to deal with those tendencies,
and get them under control. (Spokespeople for Brown, including his lawyer, could not be reached for additional comment at press time.)

This latest incident, however — in which he is accused of punching a man in the face
after the victim allegedly photobombed a picture Brown was taking with two female fans — has reportedly set off an investigation by the Los Angeles County Probation Department. If that probe turns up evidence that Brown violated his probation from the Rihanna case, the singer could be headed to prison for up to four years.

That seems like plenty of reason to get help with anger issues, but just what does anger management look like and how can it help someone deal with their rage? MTV News spoke to a pair of California-based experts on the benefits of anger treatment. "There's a starting point with all this stuff and it comes from your belief system and what we saw and heard as a kids," said Ron ...

Daniel Radcliffe Continues To Strike ‘Gold’ With New Role

You have to hand it to Daniel Radcliffe. The man really knows how to build an intelligent and adult career as a film star, especially coming off playing one of pop culture's most recognizable characters.

Other actors have done much less, even after starting from less precarious spots as playing Harry Potter, and after a string of challenging roles that are already garnering serious praise, the 24-year-old actor is adding another intriguing part to his resumé.

BBC Films (via The Playlist) announced Wednesday (October 30) that Radcliffe is reteaming with his "The Woman In Black" director James Watkins for a true-life retelling of the rivalry between two English Olympians.

"Gold" follows Sebastian Coe and Steve Ovett, with Radcliffe set to play the former. Coe and Ovett were teammates but also great competitors who battled back and forth for supremacy and collected a boatload of medals in the process.

The nature of the project gives a small glimpse into how Radcliffe is choosing his roles, each one interesting in its own right. For "Gold," he would reteam with Watkins, which is not terribly surprising because their work on "Woman In Black" created an unlikely hit.

But it's also a sign that Radcliffe is choosing his projects based on what works for him as opposed to what others might see as a more logical road to stardom. This isn't a super hero role or an action movie, the more bankable genres. He picks movies like "Horns" and "Kill Your Darlings" and now "Gold" for reasons that go specifically against what is expected, and that appears to ...
