13 Reasons We’re Glad Kanye West Is Doing Interviews Again

Kanye West has embarked on a rather improbable media blitz over the past week, blowing into regional radio stations to — in theory — promote his ongoing Yeezus tour. Though, as is the case with everything he does, this most recent run of interviews has proven to be so much more.

In short, Kanye been his oft-quotable self, dropping boastful bon-mots, delirious non-sequiturs and presidential pot-shots like they were going out of style (unlike, say, leather jogging pants). Of course, he's also gotten unusually personal, too ... opening up about his engagement to Kim Kardashian and their plans for the future.

Basically, West continues to prove that there's nobody in the biz who does an interview like he does ... and here are some of the highlights from his wild week of press.

On touring with Jesus Christ: "You know what's awesome about Christianity? We're allowed to portray God. ... Other religions, you're not allowed to do that," West told Bay Area station Wild 94.9 about his decision to Jesus in his Yeezus tour. "One of the things I wanted to get across is that you can have a relationship with Jesus ...in the same way as someone can have 'Jesus is my homeboy.' You can talk to him."

On his awesome wedding plans: "I only got two words in my mind so far, as far as ideas for the wedding go," 'Ye told L.A.'s Power 106. "That's fighter jets."

On fashion ... and also the NBA: "People just look cool in it. It's super ...

Jonas Brothers Split Leaves Hearts ‘Shattered Into A Million Pieces’

It hasn't been easy being a Jonas Brothers fan this past month, having to deal with the news of a canceled tour and a "deep rift within the band. On Tuesday (October 29), things just got a whole lot worse. The trio announced that they came to a "unanimous decision," saying that "it's over for now" after eight years of making music together.

Not surprisingly, fans flooded social media with their reactions of the split, which left them speechless, in shock and filled with heartbreak. ‏@babyDEMIkens tweeted, "my heart is shattered into millions of pieces. the jonas brothers were already a part of me. why did this have to happen? :("

Another JoBro fan ‏@bieberjonasxox echoed those sentiments, "I'm crying. It's done, they're over. The Jonas Brothers are officially calling it quits. I just.. I can't. I'm speechless."

So the Jonas Brothers officially split up...I feel like I can hear the cries of millions of teenage girls around the world," @justinshanley wrote.

While some were mourning, others were remembering the good times with the band, thanking them for all the memories.

"will always be a proud jonas brothers fan. thanks for a great 7 years, boys. #sadfangirl," @melissa_moniz tweeted.

Others weren't as sympathetic, hoping that they would've followed through with Joe's recent Twitter promise and got their "sh-- together" and take some cues from another band of brothers.

"Come on, Jonas Brothers, you're breaking up?! YOURE BROTHERS," @OhhhManItsJessy tweeted. "@hansonmusic has made it work for 21 years...get it together, guys."

Avril Lavigne Becomes Marilyn Manson’s ‘Bad Girl’ On Naughty New Track

If anyone thought a collaboration between Avril Lavigne and Marilyn Manson would be tame, they were very much wrong.

Their track, off Lavigne's self-titled November 5 album, has hit the Net. It's naughty, to say the least. Lavigne previously opened up to MTV News about "Bad Girl," sharing that it is "one of the heavier, more darker tunes on this record." And she wasn't lying.

The track opens with '90s shock-rocker Manson snarling, "Just lay your head in daddy's lap/ You're a bad girl." A rock beat kicks in and Manson continues to groan as Lavigne dishes out some eyebrow-raising lyrics.

"Hey, hey, I'll let you walk all over me/ You know that I'm a little tease/ But I want it pretty please/ You know I'm crazy/ I just want to be your baby," she sings. "You can f--- me, you can play me/ You can love me, you can hate me."

Avril continues to flex her edgy muscles on the chorus. Be warned: she may have previously sang about never wanting to grow up, but Lavigne's all adult on this song. "Miss me, miss me/ Now you want to kiss me/ Choke me because I said so/ Stroke me and feed my ego/ I've been a bad girl, don't you know," she sings as Manson commands, "Don't tell me what to do."

Lavigne's real-life hangout sessions with Manson are just as wild, she told us.

"I had wanted to shave the side of my head for quite some time, and I used to put it in a braid ...

‘The Voice’ Knockouts Hit The Coaches Hard

knockouts proved to be a heated competition, and not just between contestants. In some rare moments, celebrity coaches Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera took some low blows to get their way and their artist.

Tension was high as the celebrity coaches were forced to pair their own teams against each other to select the top four for the live rounds, and all hands were on deck for the punch with the panel getting one extra steal.

Here were some highlights of the night:

Team Blake:
Holly Henry vs. Nic Hawk
Who knew the sweet and melodic Holly Henry could come alive in such a dark way, but that's exactly what she did when the singer took on "Creep." "I love when women are fearless," Aguilera told Henry, whose emotional performance touched the coaches. Hawk took a huge risk by changing the melody and performing a neo-soul version of Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle" that brought Xtina "back down memory lane." While both "showed a lot of bravery," Shelton kept the very unique Hawk on for the live rounds.

Team Christina
Amber Nicole vs. Josh Logan
We weren't sure what to expect when the young 17-year-old took on Jessie J's "Mama Knows Best," but Nicole quickly proved she had the sass and character to bring the song to life, working the stage with all sorts of attitude. Logan surprised coaches with his "magic" when he smoothly sang Stevie Wonder's "Living for the City." "Every time you get on stage, it's another level," Shelton said, pushing Aguilera to call him the winner.

The ...

Kanye Says Yeezus Could Get A Reboot Before Year’s Up

Between touring and booking fighter jets
for his wedding to Kim Kardashian, Kanye West is also trying to squeeze in time to drop some more music before year's end.

During an interview on Los Angeles' Power 106 FM show "Big Boy's Neighborhood" on Monday, Yeezy said that he has five outtakes from the Yeezus sessions that he would like to release in the next few months. West has already performed one of the unreleased songs, "I Am Not Here," during the Yeezus tour, but he said there's more where that came from.

"Like five songs didn't make it on Yeezus that we might put out before the end of this year," he said after being asked about how he decides which songs to release and which ones he pushes "delete" on.

"For people that didn't like Yeezus when it first came out: it's a simple thing that I could've done to make them like it more that I chose not to do," he said of fans who haven't taken to the more challenging sounds on the album. "I could've put 'Blood on the Leaves' at the beginning of the album, which is what I always do. It's like 'Good Morning' at the beginning. 'Say You Will.' 'Dark Fantasy.' It's a certain type of melody that I usually have that's like, 'If you put this at the beginning of the album...' "

Back in June, legendary producer Rick Rubin said that there were originally 16 songs recorded for Yeezus and that when Kanye called him in to work on the disc ...

Justin Timberlake Takes Deadly Shot To The Dome In Sexy ‘TKO’ Video

Justin Timberlake is back in "Cry Me a River" mode. In the just-released video for "TKO," the second single from, The 20/20 Experience — 2 of 2,
JT revisits the drama-filled 2002 clip for the song from his debut solo album, except this time instead of getting the girl, the girl gets him. Like, permanently.

The seven-minute mini-movie directed by skater-turned-director Ryan Reichenfeld co-stars Elvis' granddaughter, Riley Keough, who portrays Justin's clearly over-it girlfriend. When things open, she's looking bored while lounging around Justin's sleek, modern man pad, reading a magazine and staring off into space with a resigned look on her face. Timberlake looks on from afar as the lyrics for the song that uses boxing as a metaphor for a rocky love asks, "where did you go?"

Less than a minute in, though, things get serious. Real serious. The next shot is of JT being dragged through the dirt at high speed behind Keough's truck, one foot tied by a long rope to the bumper. She seems nonplussed about her actions, at one point punching the dashboard, which translates into Justin feeling a punch to the gut as he sings the song's lyrics and doubles over in the midst of his long drag ride.

The scene shifts back and forth between the sullen couple lounging around the apartment, her head in his lap or his shoulder as he looks off solemnly and Timberlake's captive trip though the desert. She shoves his chest as they argue in the kitchen after giving him a half-hearted lap dance, the ...

Kim Kardashian Headed In A New Direction With Her Married Name

When thosefighter jets
go screaming over the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wedding they'll only have one name to write in the sky. Yes, after making herself an international celebrity with an iconic double consonant pair of initials and a last name that everyone knows, Kim is giving up her famous surname.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star told E! News that once she and Yeezy get married she plans to take his name and make Kardashian her middle name, just like sister Khloe did when she married Lamar Odom. "I will," Kim said when asked if she'll take Kanye's name. "Kim Kardashian West, no hyphen. Make it [Kardashian] the middle."

While West is already booking the jets, Kim said that the week since their instantly legendary ballpark engagement has been such a blur that she hasn't even had time to think about planning. "As far as wedding stuff, we haven't even talked about anything — it's been such a whirlwind," she said. "We need like a moment to relax and figure it all out. I'm going to leave this up to him. Whatever he wants."

She also revealed that she was completely stunned by Kanye's AT&T Park proposal. "My eyes were closed and then I got up and I still the whole time I didn't think it was a proposal," she said of the San Francisco surprise. "I thought it was dinner on the baseball field and we had a nice orchestra. I still didn't get it...when he got on his knee, I kind of figured out ...

Worst Halloween Costume Ideas: Say No To Half-Naked ‘Bad Grandpa’ And ’12 Years A Slave’

There are a lot of choices you'll have for Halloween costumes this year: You could be a sexy cat, or a sexy dog, or a sexy mouse. Really, whatever you imagine, you can be. But when it comes to movies and TV shows, the costumes can get a little too creative.

Sure, you'll get an overwhelmingly large Jaeger from "Pacific Rim," or a million "Spring Breakers"-inspired Aliens. We're talking about get-ups from this year's biggest pop culture releases, though, that under no circumstances should you even attempt to put together. Oh, and spoilers ahead, by the way:

That Third Guy In "
You'll probably see plenty of Sandra Bullock and George Clooney astronauts this year. But what about that third guy? You know, the one who gets half his face blasted through by space debris? Yes, Halloween is time for a little gross-out here and there, but letting people look through a hole in your face might be too much gore even for a zombie.

The White House In "White House Down"
Two big reasons you shouldn't dress as the President's home from "White House Down" — and neither of them are "that's too big of a costume to wear to a party. First, dressing as an exploding national monument isn't going to score you any points — it's just going to make people uncomfortable. And second, chances are you're going to show up at the same party as an exploding White House from "Olympus Has Fallen." Awkward!

Irving Zisman At The Strip Club In "Bad Grandpa"
Dressing as Johnny Knoxville's ...
