Kim Kardashian may be gushing over her "magical" engagement to Kanye West, but there's one man out there who, we think, may be even more pumped than the reality star: the mysterious third man, who was captured grinning ear to ear in an Instagram photo of the couple after Kanye put a ring on it.

Kanye and Kardashian's closest friends and family gathered at AT&T Park in San Francisco on Monday so that he could pop the question to the mother of his child. The event was lavish to the max, with 'Ye renting out not only an entire MLB stadium, but also a 50-piece orchestra. Oh, and the 15-carat engagement ring he slipped on her finger wasn't too shabby, either. We weren't at the fete — must have lost the invitation in the mail — but we imagine the joy was contagious.

Still, no one appeared to be feeling it more than the man we have come to dub "Third Man," a bearded guest standing to the left of Kim and Kanye in an Instagram photo. Yup, Kanye and Kim might be smiling from ear to ear, but this dude's toothy grin — one that goes all the way up to his eyes — has them beat. "Happy for them" just seems like an understatement.

"Thor: The Dark World" is still more than two weeks away, but thanks to an early premiere date in the UK, reviews have already made their way across the pond, signaling what appears to be another win for Marvel Studios.

Though many critics are divided on whether the continuing adventures of Thor, Loki and Jane Foster are fun or too fluffy, but few of the early reviews are calling the brand's consistency into question, meaning if you're a fan of the character, you're all set.

"Nobody gives good sneer like Tom Hiddleston, back once again in the pleather leggings and goat-horned helmet to play bad guy Loki in Thor: The Dark World and pretty much steal the whole show. Amiable hunk Chris Hemsworth may play the title character in this subset of Marvel's meta-Avengers franchise, but this well-intentioned 'witless oaf,' as his evil foster brother describes him at one point, is practically a guest at his own party here, as scads of new characters and millions of dollars worth of CGI crowd the screen. Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri have cemented a rock-solid legacy over the past 18 years, collaborating on some of the singer's biggest hits, beginning with "Always Be My Baby." But the longtime friends are now embarking on a new chapter together with the release of Carey's latest song "The Art of Letting Go" on November 11, via Facebook.

In addition to the classics they've crafted, Carey and Dupri have a connection beyond the studio. This summer, the legendary So So Def Recordings founder took on a management role in Mariah's camp — a role he has played unofficially in the careers of artists such as Bow Wow and Kriss Kross.

"We've always had similar tastes in music," Mariah told MTV News of their relationship. "So we met because he was already producing great records and I wanted to work with the person behind the music that I was listening to and loving. That's when people were [shocked] — 'she's trying to work with rappers.' They didn't know what to do with that."

Dupri's first order of business in his management role was encouraging Carey to release her new song via Facebook, in an effort to speak directly to her fans.

"The Internet has made the world flat, so when you have a person like Mariah whose fan base goes from here to other end of the world, why not share [the music] with everyone at once?" he told us.

What a difference a year makes. By now you've heard the news that Kim Kardashian is engaged to her boyfriend Kanye West. But this time last year, the reality star was a brunette still technically married (to someone else!), and had no children.

The "Glee" cast will ask the age-old question on November 7: The Fox sitcom is slated to return from hiatus next month (after the baseball playoffs) and they are doing with a lot of spectacle and costumes.

In first look stills from the episode, which will pay tribute to both pop princesses, the Gleeks are rocking their best Gaga and Katy attire, which include homages to Perry's jungle-themed "Roar" video as well as Gaga's more avant garde "Applause" visual. From the looks of it, the fellas aren't afraid to get into drag.

The first episode since the emotional Cory Monteith tribute aired earlier this month, "American Idol" alum Adam Lambert will also be stopping by. Is he belting out a Gaga or a Katy hit?

The promo shows us that Lambert will be putting his own theatrical, hanging-from-a-chandelier spin on Gaga's Born This Way jam, "Marry The Night." Lambert's character is expected to be auditioning to join a band with Kurt (Chris Colfer), Rachel (Lea Michele) and Santana (Naya Rivera) and Dani (Demi Lovato), out in New York City.

This is not the first time that the show has put the focus of an episode on the Mother Monster. In 2010, the show paid tribute to the pop star with covers of "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face."

"The guys do their thing," Kevin McHale shared with MTV News about having to don Gaga-themed attire in the 2010 episode. "Not all the guys can pull off Gaga."
