Bruno Mars Turns Up The Heat In ‘Gorilla’ Video

Bruno Mars' "Gorilla" is an absolutely arena-sized sex jam, and now, it's got an appropriately epic music video.

In the new clip (which premiered Tuesday on Mars' Facebook page), Bruno pushes practically everything to the max, casting actress Freida Pinto as Isabella, a downright devilish dancer in a South of the Border strip club. She struts and prowls her way across the stage, powers her way up and down the pole, and — in one gloriously cinematic scene — sheds her close with such ferocity that it literally causes the joint to short circuit.

Luis Guzman cameos as the club's seriously sleazy owner, and Mars and his mates serve as the house band, and practically every frame of the video drips with both sweat and sex (to say nothing of the scenes where Mars and Pinto passionately paw at one another in the back seat of a Caprice) ... which, again, is probably the point. But credit Mars — who co-directed the video with frequent collaborator Cameron Duddy — for also infusing the clip with a healthy dose of camp, whether it's in the catty back-and-forth between a pair of strippers backstage, or Guzman's scenery-chewing turn. Clearly, Bruno's seen "Showgirls" a few times.

And while Pinto will no doubt garner the most attention for her, uh, work — make no mistake about it, she deserves the accolades — the "Gorilla" video also succeeds because Mars and Duddy have created a singular, hyper-sexualized world here, one that pays homage to the song's subject matter (you know, humping) while, at the same time also ...

TLC Boil Down Their 20-Year Run Into Three Words

For TLC, this whole period of their career is a total "Meant to Be" moment. "This album is like going down memory lane from the beginning of our career to present day," original member Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins told Robin Roberts on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday (October 15) about the duo's greatest hits collection, TLC 20.

The disc, out today, ends with a new song written by Ne-Yo called "Meant to Be," which T-Boz said summed up how she and partner Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas are feeling right now. "We always said it was an 'MTB thing,' it was meant to be, so it's like a song that wraps up our 20 years history together in one song."

The duo are together again to promote the October 21 debut of the VH1 biopic, "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story." They appeared on the morning talker with the cast of the film that depicts their rise from obscurity to world stardom and status as one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. The film also deals with the tragic 2002 death of third member, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, who is played by rapper Lil' Mama in the movie.

"When we saw her audition tape, we said, 'That's it. She's the one,' " Thomas said of Lil' Mama
, who performed with the original members at a July reunion show. "When she gets into character with the dark contacts, we were taking to her sometimes ... it was strange for us sometimes. Freaked us out a little bit." The two women acted as executive ...

Why Is ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ Shooting At A Real Football Game This Weekend?

The first piece of "East Los Angeles College Campus News published a story claiming that Zack Snyder and his crew would be at the October 19 football game to briefly film during halftime.

The set-up of the supposed scene is a football game between Metropolis State University and Gotham City University, with Batman's team having home-field advantage. (We know how well that went for the Rogues.) If this game is set to take place in the upcoming movie, MTV News writers Kevin P. Sullivan and Alex Zalben broke down the match-up based on what we know about each city to pick which team will come out on top.

Kevin P. Sullivan, WGBS "Super Sports"
Metropolis State University is obviously the team to watch here. They have overcome so much in the last six months — a rebuilding period for sure — to be here facing their rivals from Gotham City University. No other team has had to deal with the effects of their school, field and surrounding city block eviscerated by two super-powered aliens duking it out without any regard for what gets destroyed around them, yet here they are. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have Superman on the sidelines, ready to fly backwards in time if the play calls for it, on the sidelines. These guys are the underdogs, but watch their sheer will power and can-do spirit carry them to victory.

Alex Zalben, WGCK "Sports Knight"
See, that's where I'm going to have to disagree with you, Kevin. After Bane's attack on Gotham literally leveled our football stadium, killing nearly every ...

Katy Perry Crowns ‘The Best Voice’ In Pop: Who Is It?

Ariana Grande has a new #1 fan and she just so happens to be one of the biggest pop stars in the world.

During a recent interview with Sirius XM, Katy Perry couldn't help but gush over the 20-year-old up-and-coming singer.

"I love her. I think she has the best female vocal in pop music today," said Perry, who previewed bits of Prism Tuesday (October 15) morning. "She has literally the best voice, the best voice live. She kills it. She's so good."

Perry admits she sees the comparisons between Grande and Mariah Carey, but that she is "different." And prepping her for stardom, Perry went out of her way to lend some friendly advice.

"I got to hang out with her and listen to her record before it came out because I wanted to reach out to her and be like, 'Hey girl, you're just about to go through a whirlwind. Let me give you some tips if you ever need anything — a hairstylist, makeup artist, whatever,' " Perry said. "And she's the sweetest girl and I just wish her the best."

Grande tweeted Perry after her kind words, thanking her for "being a true friend & an inspiration." During "Live from MTV" in August, days before the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, "The Way" singer told MTV News that the one person she was excited to see perform was Perry.

"I'm so excited to see Katy," Grande said. "I love her new single so much. 'Roar' is everything. It came out, and I did not stop playing it ...

Why Tina Fey And Amy Poehler Are The Greatest Golden Globes Hosts Ever

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be back for the next two glorious years to helm the Golden Globes, and that sound you hear is the joyful squealing of fangirls and fanboys the world over.

According to Deadline, the pair have closed a deal for two more hosting gigs for the movie awards show.

Their wild success at the 2013 awards made them a very hot couple of emcees and left fans wanting them as permanent hosts. But if you missed the stellar event that was the first Fey-Poehler Globes, then here's why this news has everybody so stoked to see the ladies onstage once more.

They Know What They're Doing
Not every celeb can weather the transition to a live awards show, where the script is more of a suggestion than a rulebook and anything — anything! — can happen. But as veterans of "SNL," Fey and Poehler know how to work an audience and roll with the punches (and the equipment malfunctions and the nip slips and whatever else the format wants to throw at 'em.)

They're Not Ricky Gervais
Not that Ricky Gervais isn't terrific, but after he beat up the audience and stole their lunch money at his last Golden Globes hosting gig, it's really just better this way.

We Will Get More Of This
And this.

And this.

And Maybe, Just Maybe, Hollywood Will Finally Start To Believe In The Power Of Lady Comedy
Because when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are killing it on the Golden Globes stage, even the most ...

Ylvis On Their Billboard Hit: ‘It Takes A Fox’ To Beat Lady Gaga

Lorde isn't the only artist on the Billboard Hot 100 to score a surprising hit, there's also Ylvis — a brotherly duo from Norway who have hit #6 on the chart, besting Lady Gaga's "Applause" with parody smash "The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?)." And, according to the bros Ylvisåker, that was their intention all along.

"We made 'The Fox' song and we thought, 'We have to beat Lady Gaga.'.... It takes a fox." Bård Ylvisåker told MTV News. And while we're quite certain he was joking, that's exactly what the comedy duo has done.

"It's really crazy," Bård said of the pair's certified hit, which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at # 29, according to the New York Times. "Everything that happens now is really strange and crazy and we're just in for the ride. We don't know where it stops, but we're here as long as it lasts."

"The ride" BÃ¥rd is referring to started as a joke. The brothers initially created the video and song— which imagines what sound a fox makes — as a promotion for their comedy talk show, "I Kveld Med Ylvis" ("Tonight With Ylvis") in their home country of Norway. The guys teamed up with hitmaking producing duo Stargate to create the track, but their intention was not to make a hit.

"We thought, 'We can't come home to Norway with the intention of being a hit,'" Vegard Ylvisåker said. "Because as comedians that's kind of poison. You have to always have a comic element in it. So ...

Justin Bieber Holds Babies, Grinds On Tourists In ‘All That Matters’ Vid

For anyone wondering what Justin Bieber was doing on the Great Wall of China when he wasn't being carried by his bodyguards, the answer is finally here. The singer was shooting the video.

The grainy visual appeared online Tuesday (October 15), one day after he officially released the track off his Music Mondays project.

In the video, Biebs dances atop the Great Wall, rides in a lift, grinds up against and hugs fellow sightseers and, of course, hugs a baby.

Noticeably absent from the video are any shots of Bieber being carried by his entourage. However, the guerrilla-style video offers up a unique experience of getting to travel with the singer and his crew as he performs the Diplo-produced track.

A rep for the singer hadn't returned MTV News request for further information about the video by press time.

No word on if Bieber has any more videos lined up or if any more of the Great Wall footage will make it into his upcoming concert film, Believe 3D. Bieber will continue to release new music every week in the lead up to the film's release, scheduled for this Christmas.

"For this project, we want to do things a little bit differently," Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, told MTV News about the unique rollout Bieber has instituted this time around. "And there are more songs than 10 or 12, so if you have more music and you have more things you want to express, you gotta think out the box, and [think like] 'How do I get this out there in ...

‘Fifty Shades’ Of Christian: We Rank The Rumored Replacements

With Charlie Hunnam officially out of the big-screen adaptation of it's only a matter of time before the studio announces his replacement in the role of the kinky, flawed billionaire Christian Grey.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Patrick Marber ("Closer," "Notes On A Scandal") has been hired to tweak the script for the Sam Taylor-Johnson-helmed project. Several leading men are now rumored to be circling the project, including "True Blood" star Alexander Skarsgard.

Sure, there will always be the "Fifty Shades" fans who are rooting for "Vampire Diaries" hunk Ian Somerholder or "White Collar" hottie Matt Bomer, but it's still anyone's game. Today, we rank the rumored list might of actors for who might make the best Christian Grey to replace the "Sons of Anarchy" star. (And if casting directors are looking for even more choices, check out MTV News' unexpected casting choices.)

Alexander Skarsgard

Given that he's frequently without clothes on "True Blood," having to film the explicit scenes from E.L. James' novel probably wouldn't make the Swedish actor blush. "True Blood" ends next year, so Skarsgard might be looking for some new project to leave his female fans drooling. Then again, he's slated to film with Meryl Streep and Taylor Swift later this year, the same time that "Fifty Shades" is expected to film.

Jamie Dornan

Seduction is nothing new for the Irish actor. He first caught movie lovers' attention as he seduced Kirsten Dunst in "Marie Antoinette." The former model then popped up on ABC's "Once ...
