Justin Timberlake’s Looong 20/20 Album: What Else Can You Do In 74 Minutes?

If you took seven years off, you'd probably have a lot to say too. That might explain why the two albums Justin Timberlake has released this year each push past the 70-minute mark. In fact, his just-released The 20/20 Experience — 2 Of 2, runs to the very edge of available space on a CD, 74-plus minutes.

But just how long will it take for you to digest the second part of Timberlake's ode to love, sex and everything in between? We were curious too, so we did a bit of numbers-crunching to find out what else you could do in the time it takes (74:25) to give The 20/20 Experience — 2 Of 2 a listen.

Here are some other things you could do in an hour and 14 minutes:

» Listen to Kanye West's whole BBC Radio 1 interview and watch the two Jimmy Kimmel bits that sent 'Ye into a rage last week.

» Get all the way through JT's debut, Justified (63:15) once, and then listen to "Señiorita" and "Like I Love You" again, with two minutes left over to grab a sandwich.

» No joke, you could fly between New York City and Boston in less than 74 minutes. Passing through security, however, is a different story.

» At six seconds each, you could make 740 Vines. Just spare your friends and don't make all of them "smack cams," OK?

» Get a mani, pedi (candy corn nail art, of course, because Halloween is just around the corner) and 14-minute chair massage.

» In the time it takes ...

Fall Out Boy On ‘The Rage And Passion’ Of Pax-Am Days

Earlier this summer, Fall Out Boy headed to Ryan Adams' Pax-Am studio ... where they over the course of 48 hours, they hung out, had dinner and ended up recording an album's worth of new music.

At the time, no one in the band — or at their label, for that matter — seemed to know when that music would see the light of day ... but on Monday (September 30) we learned that Fall Out Boy would be releasing them as Pax-Am Days an eight-song album that marks FOB's second release of 2013 (after their triumphant Save Rock and Roll comeback, of course).

The album is due on October 15, both as a digital standalone and as part of a double-disc reissue of Save Rock and Roll, but fans are already thrilling to the first single, a fiery slab of early-80s punk (and early '90s hardcore) called "Love, Sex, Death," which certainly seems to hint at a new direction for FOB ... not to mention the raucous, raw recording sessions that produced their latest album.

"We really got along great with Ryan; we both have mutual admiration for Youth crew bands and the punk rock we grew up with," Pete Wentz told MTV News. "Ryan is a blast. Sometimes we would be working out a part and yell down to him that we were ready to record and he'd be like 'No, worries, I recorded the rehearsal and there's no way you're gonna recapture that magic.' He's pure energy and art and punk and ...

Afrojack, Kaskade And More DJs Insist Molly Has Nothing To Do With EDM

After two drug-related deaths at Electric Zoo and the recent banning of all "EDM" performances at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, the relationship between electronic dance music and MDMA has warranted increased discussion.

So while MTV News was at TomorrowWorld 2013, we got some of dance music's biggest acts to talk about the controversial topic, and the sentiment was unanimous: Electronic music is not the cause of drug use. Sebastian Ingrosso suggests drugs are just a part of youth culture, just as EDM is, but there's no direct link between the two.

"This music and this scene connects with young people," Ingrosso told us. "Back in the day of Woodstock or whatever it was, people were taking drugs and people were young. It's the same thing,"

Chicago based duo Flosstradamus agreed and pointed out that the drug problem is not just isolated to electronic music.

"If you go to a Sox game, people get wasted and bust their heads open and die," they said. "And if you go to a frat house, a college, a university people are getting alcohol poisoning and dying, because they gotta pledge."

The TomorrowWorld You Don't See: Behind The Scenes At The Festival!

Kaskade took to Twitter shortly after UMass had canceled two dance music concerts (Above & Beyond and Pretty Lights) for October 4 and October 30, due to the genre's connection with recent drug deaths. UMass had canceled another concert five days earlier as well — Return to Fantazia was scheduled to perform on September 21.

"The Molly-taking culture at these shows ...

Miley’s Bangerz Album: Get Your First Listen Now!

Miley Cyrus' Bangerz album is still a week away from release, but you can hear it — or at least 30-second snippets of it — right now.

And here's the thing: Bangerz isn't all brash, despite the pro-party sentiments of first single her now infamous VMA performance, or her stripped-down (in more ways than one) clip — not to mention the defiant streak she displays in her October 2 MTV documentary In fact, based on these previews, it's actually quite the opposite.

Take, for example, album opener "Adore You," where Cyrus somberly sings, "Baby, are you listening?/ Wonderin' where you've been all my life," over plaintive pianos and softly shuffling drums. And then there's "My Darlin'," a slowly simmering, broken-heart ballad that features Future; and "Drive," which details a decaying relationship over a cold, coiled electronic beat. They're markedly mature efforts, suggesting that perhaps everything you think you know about Miley may be wrong.

Or maybe not. Because, like the title implies, there's a whole lot than bangs and knocks on the album, too: Like "SMS," where Cyrus raps coy kiss-offs to indecisive lovers over a roiling, raucous Mike WiLL beat — the 30-second snippet doesn't feature Britney Spears' contribution, sadly.

And "4x4," which lives up to guest star Nelly's assessment that it's "kind of a country/hip-hop/pop feel." (It also finds Cyrus rapping about relieving herself.) "Love Money Party" covers those three topics rather succinctly, with Miley delivering sing-song lyrics, and "#Getitright," produced by the omnipresent Pharrell, ...

Christina Aguilera’s Fiery ‘Hunger Games’ Single Art Revealed: Take A Look!

We got a taste of Christina Aguilera's stirring "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" track last week when the full soundtrack listing was revealed — now, we've got the "We Remain" single art to look at.

A dramatic image, the art shows Katniss Everdeen splayed on the ground — perhaps among the horrors of the arena — looking off into the distance. The sequel to "The Hunger Games" — in which children were forced to fight to the death for the amusement of an oppressive upper class — "Catching Fire" sees victors Everdeen and Peeta Mellark thrown back into the arena, where they will go toe-to-toe with all past Hunger Games winners. Meanwhile, a rebellion brews, instigated by the duo's refusal to kill each other in the last battle royale. The film hits theaters in November.

The photo perfectly matches the strident, wistful nature of Aguilera's track, in which she sings, "Whatever happens here/We remain." A message to fellow fighter and love interest Peeta, perhaps?

The image follows close on the heels of similar single art for Coldplay's "Hunger Games" contribution, "Atlas," which sees Katniss standing boldly on an outcropping of rock, bow and arrow in hand.

The "Catching Fire" soundtrack contains a bevy of other up-and-comers and powerhouses, including the Weeknd, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, the Lumineers and Patti Smith. We wonder which track will be released next and what manner Katniss will adopt in the accompanying art.

Will it be the National's deep, dark song "Lean" (previously titled "Dying Is Easy")? Or Lorde's Tears for Fears ...

‘Meatballs’ And Metallica Made A Meal Out Of The Box Office

It was all about meatballs and metal in movie theaters over the weekend.

made a meal out of the box office with a $35 million debut. While that wasn't enough to beat last year's "Hotel Transylvania," the kid-friendly sequel did score the fourth-largest September opening ever, behind "Transylvania," "Insidious: Chapter 2" and "Sweet Home Alabama."

Meanwhile, Metallica's ambitious mix of 3-D concert movie and art film narrative grabbed $1.67 million in 305 IMAX screens. "Metallica Through the Never," from "Predators" director Nimrod Antal, has already beaten the entire theatrical run of 2004's revealing documentary, "Metallica: Some Kind of Monster." The movie features Dane DeHaan in the narrative portions. The 3-D/non-IMAX version will expand nationwide this weekend.

Speaking of expansion, "Meatballs 2" didn't leave many leftovers for the nationwide expansion of "Rush." After a successful debut in New York and Los Angeles, Chris Hemsworth's Formula One racing drama sputtered with just $10.3 million. Despite critical praise, "Rush" had to settle for #3 behind last weekend's #1, "Prisoners."

Hemsworth's fellow Avenger Scarlett Johansson stars opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt in "Don Jon," which opened even further down the chain at #5. Gordon-Levitt's writer/directorial debut earned $9 million. "Don Jon" has gotten great reviews just like "Rush," but audiences who saw it gave it a CinemaScore of "C+." That stood in contrast to the "A" CinemaScore garnered by the poorly reviewed comedy "Baggage Claim," which opened at #3 to the tune of $9.3 million despite playing in a couple hundred fewer theaters than "Don Jon."

Metallica weren't the only ones with a music-related flick in specialty release. ...

Rihanna Rocks Fishnets And A ‘Marilyn’ Wig In ‘Pour It Up’ Video Teases

Rihanna's getting her glam on. In new teasers for her upcoming video, the singer rocks a short, Marilyn Monroe-inspired wig and sexy fishnets.

The Mike Will Made It-produced single is the latest from her Unapologetic album. And over the weekend, RiRi posted several stills from the clip, including two where she wears little more than a lavender bodysuit and white stilettos.

In another set of photos, Rihanna pairs the lingerie-inspired romper with pink eyebrows and glittering jewels. The "Diamonds" singer is in true bad-girl form as she smokes and drinks in one particular look.

While there's no release date for the video, Rihanna seems to have had a change of directors. According to reports, she had shot one version of the "Pour It Up" clip with director Vincent Haycock before they went their separate ways on the project. No word yet on whether this will be an entirely new video. (A rep for the singer hadn't responded to MTV News' request for further information at press time.)

In between posting video stills, Rihanna also made some time to pay homage to Walter White. She also posted several images related to which celebrated its series finale Sunday night.

Rihanna has a busy season ahead. After appearing alongside A$AP Rocky in his , she'll be prepping the release of the "Pour It Up" visual. The star is also set to continue on her Diamonds world tour even as her premieres in November on Bravo.

The show was originally slated to air on the now-defunct Style network, ...

‘Transformers: Age Of Extinction’ Official First Look: Mark Wahlberg’s Out Of Gas

The action-packed "Transformers: Age of Extinction" will add a few new faces to the successful franchise. Mark Wahlberg will appear alongside the newly unearthed fan favorite Dinobots, teaming with director Michael Bay following their collaboration in this year's muscled-up "Pain and Gain."

Wahlberg gazes off into the horizon in a new photo tweeted by Michael Bay, with newcomers Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor bringing up the rear.

The photo's setting remains consistent with the film's previous promo shots, which included images of Optimus Prime and other new Autobots parked out in the desert. Couple those Autobot pics with this new one and depicting the film's iconic logo covered by shifting sand, and you've got the makings of a movie so hot you might need to wear sunscreen to the theater.

In addition to the film's implied desert locale, a bit of information has been made available regarding just whom the film's trio of leading humans will be playing. Wahlberg stars as Cade, a single father who struggles with his inventions just as much as he does with his daughter Tessa, played by "Bates Motel" star Peltz. Reynor will play Tessa's boyfriend Shane, a racecar driver whose skills will surely come into play in a film involving battle-ready automobiles.

Despite revealing three new members of the "Transformers" family, this first pic offers no new information regarding the Dinobots. As robots that transform into prehistoric creatures as opposed to vehicles, fans have wanted to see characters like Grimlock, Slag and Snarl on the big screen since the first "Transformers" ...
