Ke$ha’s ‘My Crazy Beautiful Life’ Returns For Season Two, With Sharks And Twerking

Ke$ha made one thing clear when she was promoting the first season of her MTV series it most certainly wouldn't be a staid affair.

And the subsequent six episodes of breakdowns, makeups and, uh, urine guzzling proved, she was a woman of her word. So on the show's upcoming second season — it premieres October 30 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV — she's looking to push things even further, going above and beyond the call of duty to bring her fans an unfiltered, unflinching (and frequently unsanitary) look at her wild life.

"I had camera people following me around last night when I was dancing and acting like an idiot, so there's some of that as always. Some twerking upside down, there's sharks involved, me in the water, no cage. It's just mayhem," she told MTV News. "It's scary because it's so real; I don't have hair and makeup every day, so there's definitely times where I don't have any bra on and I just look bad, just straight up terrible. But, I think that's alright. You've got to show it."

Just like season one, new episodes of "My Crazy Beautiful Life" also go beyond shock and sharks ... for the first time, Ke$h's family and friends — including her mom Pebe, younger brother Louie, cousin Kalan and assistant Tessa — share the screen with her, and she's also giving us a peek inside her creative process, as she begins writing songs for the follow-up to her Warrior album.

And, from the sound of things, her new music ...

Lorde Leaps To #1 With ‘Royals’

Lorde, Lorde, Lorde. After a slow creep up the charts, New Zealand phenomenon Lorde will shoot up two spots to #1 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart this week, marking a high-water mark for the singer on the eve of her debut album's release.

She led a female trio of singers on the chart who moved more than 300,000 copies, the first time that's happened outside of the holiday season.

Lorde and the ladies

While Lorde was up 17 percent to 307,000, close on her heels was the former #1, Katy Perry's "Roar," which slipped 10 percent as it held at #2 (301,000) in a virtual tie with Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball," down 37 percent to 301,000. Perry is on a roll, as her new single, "Dark Horse," came in at #4 on sales of 194,000 and Britney Spears was just outside the top 5 with a #6 debut for "Work Bitch!" (174,000). Rounding out the woman wave was Lady Gaga's "Applause" at #7 (160,000).

Jack Johnson's no bummer summer
Time to bust out the hammock and flip-flops. In other words, just another chill day in the life of Jack Johnson. The beach bum strummer will land his third #1 album in a row next week when his latest, From Here to Now to You debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart thanks to sales of 117,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan.

He fended off two other debuts from country singers Justin Moore (#2, 97,000) and Chris Young (#3, 53,000), as well as Rick Ross, whose MMG Presents Self Made Vol. ...

‘The Voice’ Recap: ‘Rugrats’ Star Goes Team Blake In ‘Dirty’ Blind Auditions

is back with a vengeance. Coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green didn't waste a moment getting into each other's hairs and picking sides as the second round of blind auditions went down last night.

The rapport among the celebrity coaches was evident as they often expressed their love for one another, but a rejuvenated Green and Aguilera stepped up their pitching game by taking down their competition by any means necessary.

Here are some of last night's stand-outs:

These Boots Are Made For Stalking
When 16-year-old Jacquie Lee took the stage, she assumed her voice would be the topic of attention. Although she got Shelton and Xtina to turn their chairs, fellow coach Green seem enthralled with Lee's studded boots, asking her, "Did you get those boots from Aldo?" and later taking a photo of them. When the conversation turned back to the music, Xtina and Shelton began the digs. "He's bored of winning," Aguilera said of Shelton before he piped in, "I specialize in 16-year-old girls winning this show." That sealed the deal, and she went home to Team Blake.

Risky Business
Cole Volsbury took a huge, unique risk for his "Voice" debut. The early twenties soul singer piqued Green's interest with his rendition of "The Jeffersons" theme song, "Movin' On Up." Luckily, the unusual song choice paid off, and Volsbury landed on spot on Team Cee Lo. "Anyone who has the audacity to do that song I have to be associated with," Green said.

Deck The Halls
With boughs of Holly Henry, that is. When the shy 19-year-old arrived ...

Kanye West’s BBC Interview: Five Things We Learned About The ‘God’

Go ahead and watch "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." if you want. But if it's real drama you're looking for, there no greater show on earth right now than the slow roll-out of Kanye West's epic one-hour interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe.

In the latest edition, West, no stranger to outrageous claims
, goes off for more than 13 minutes against the corporations he said are keeping him down. But it's the collateral damage left in his wake that might really shock you.

West took aim at two of the most beloved directors in Hollywood, Lady Gaga, and, most surprisingly, his biggest radio hit in the second clip, where he also got his Nostradamus on and warned that he's more "futurist "than pop star.

Here are the five essential quotes from part two:

Got my eyes on you, Spielberg and Lucas
Angry that he's not given enough credit for his creations, West talked about "the most innovative take on theater" he came up with for his
short film.

"I designed the set ... okay, 'Surround Vision,' there should be a screen above you, below you, to the left, to the right and in front you also," he said. "Then I pay my own money, that I get paid for doing 'Gold Digger,' which I never really liked that song, but I knew I would get paid for doing 'Gold Digger.' "

He talked about shooting the video, editing it for 30 days, building a pyramid set on the beach at Cannes, France and getting a standing ovation. And then? He does an ...

Nirvana Take In Utero On The Road, With MTV News Along For The Ride

On October 18, 1993, Nirvana kicked off a world tour in support of their In Utero album at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Arizona.

MTV News was there that night and sat down with the band following the show to discuss coming to terms with their arena-rock status, the perils of stage diving, a rumored rivalry with Pearl Jam, and why they insisted on wearing dresses from time to time.

The resulting interview revealed a side of the band few ever saw. Turns out, Nirvana weren't always the surly, serious artistes the media had made them out to be. Rather, they were four funny, self-effacing guys — Pat Smear was playing with them at this point — who enjoyed cracking jokes and poking fun at themselves. At one point, Kurt Cobain even marvels about an overzealous fan who tossed some of her undergarments onstage during the show ("My first ever bra," he laughed.)

In short, it's the Nirvana you never knew. And on the occasion of In Utero's 20th anniversary, we're bringing it to you now.

* * *

MTV NEWS: So how was the first show? I thought it was really good. What was it like to start the tour today?

KRIST: Today, with all the lighters out there it felt like we were doing Aerosmith "Dream On" or something. I felt like Tom Hamilton, the bass player from Aerosmith.

MTV NEWS: Have you done stadiums before?

KRIST: We did a stadium. It was like 110,000 people in Sao Paulo, Brazil. And we had a mental breakdown on the stage and played "Seasons in ...

Rupert Grint’s ‘CBGB’: Check Out The Latest Very NSFW Clip

A new exclusive NSFW clip from the historical rock drama "CBGB" has everything you expect from the start of New York's punk scene: sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll. Rupert Grint and Justin Bartha stand in for the Dead Boys, so there's the rock. You have to imagine there's some drug use going on, but the sex is pretty hard to miss.

During a set at the iconic club, an unruly crowd member takes the song title "Caught With the Meat in Your Mouth" a little too literally.

As on-screen bandmates, Grint and Bartha got to know each other pretty intimately. Aside from the very private moment that takes place on the stage in the clip, the two recalled for MTV News, while we were on the set, other instances of — let's call it — band bonding.

"I've got to know Justin quite well," Grint told MTV News. "Seeing just now his butt cheeks were my canvas and I was drawing stuff on his bare ass cheeks."

What Grint was referring to was the scene they were filming during our set visit, in which the Dead Boys flash oncoming vehicles as they drive during a road trip. Bartha went into a little more detail about the shenanigans.

"Today we are a shooting a scene where the Dead Boys go on the road, drive the Northeast and do a little tour," Bartha explained. "They are in certain states of disarray, trying to stay awake, screwing with each other and [my character]; he had an affinity for mooning people while he was driving."

"CBGB" opens in theaters ...

‘Divergent’ Hunk Four Has ‘Friendly But Sexually Aggressive’ Vibe

In the near-future world imagined by author Veronica Roth in , society is divided into five factions, each representing a different virtue (selflessness, intelligence, bravery, peacefulness and honesty), but it sounds like star Theo James, who plays Dauntless leader Four, has a strong case for a sixth faction quality: sensuality.

"[He's] kind of friendly, but sexually aggressive," James told MTV News of his character's vibe in the upcoming big-screen adaptation.

"Very strong, mostly in the eyes," agreed co-star Miles Teller.

"But also in the crotch," James added.

"Four is a powerful figure in literature and in human form," Teller concluded.

And while these descriptions are all rather vague, they're much more palpable shorthands than Teller could offer for his character, fellow Dauntless member Peter.

"You can't really describe it, you feel it," he said. "So if you ever come to set, you'll know when I'm in the room, just kind of lurking, lingering, a little uncomfortable."

The final book in Roth's trilogy, doesn't come out until October 22, and James doesn't have high hopes for his character's fate.

"I think I die but in a kind of existential way," he said. "So I become a ghost, and I'm haunting but in a really sexy way."

"See, that's what I thought too," Teller said. "Once the third book ends, it picks back up and it's Peter's world. It's Peter's story from there on out. Sexy Ghost [Four] is not allowed in my house. I lock the door on Sexy Ghost."

So for those of you hoping for a little Peter/Ghost Four slash-fic, it sounds like you're ...
