Lil Twist Won’t Let The ‘Bullsh–‘ Justin Bieber Stories ‘Crumble’ Him

Lil Twist has been making plenty of headlines, and most of the time, it isn't because of his music. The Young Money rapper has run into some legal trouble and has seen his friendship with Justin Bieber come into question, with many sites and news outlets often dubbing Twist a bad influence on the pop star. Still, the 20-year-old doesn't let the bad press get to him.

"They're doin' their job, man. They're doing what we do," Twist told MTV News of the publications and online outlets that he feels shine him in a bad light. "Like how we go to the studio and we go and record to make music and we make money off of that to support our families; if they didn't come up with bullsh-- stories and post it, they can't get no money from it."

In May, he was stopped for speeding while driving the Biebs' Ferrari, and in July, Twist was arrested for a DUI while driving Justin's high-end vehicle. In August, he was named in a battery report. Twist couldn't speak to MTV News about any of the charges against him but did suggest that all the reports are accurate and that some reporters embellish on the facts — he didn't specify how.

"They just twist — they add some sh--, they add a lot of sh-- to a lot of stuff that comes out," he claimed. "I don't even pay attention to the media any more. I've been into a few accidents, I ran into a few mistakes, but I'm young. You ...

Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’: So Secret Matthew McConaughey Won’t Tell His Wife What It’s About

Toronto — In his two next films, Matthew McConaughey will journey from 1980s Texas through a wormhole into previously unknown parts of outer space. But a drastically different setting isn't the only difference between "Dallas Buyers Club" and the Christopher Nolan-helmed "

For one, "Dallas Buyers Club" tells the true story of Ron Woodruff, an HIV-diagnosed man who started smuggling in medication from all over the world to act as an alternative to the limited supply of meds legal in the United States. The wormhole-driven plot of "Interstellar" is so secret that McConaughey reveals he hasn't even told his wife, Brazilian model Camila Alves, about the film.

"I mean, ['Interstellar' is] a much more story-driven picture," McConaughey told MTV News' Josh Horowitz while promoting "Dallas Buyers Club" at the Toronto International Film Festival. "Dallas Buyers Club," which also stars Jared Leto and Jennifer Garner, is based on a true story, "Interstellar" sprang forth from the minds of Christopher Nolan and his brother, Jonathan.

The currently-filming "Interstellar" is operating under a level of secrecy that's become regular for the Nolan brothers' productions; the duo previously worked together on closing out the recent Batman trilogy, with "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises." Because of this secrecy, McConaughey had to remain quiet about specifics regarding the filming process, but did speak to Christopher Nolan's on-set presence.

"He knows what he wants," revealed McConaughey. "Oh yeah, he knows everything about what's happening on a film set, and what everybody's doing."

Fans will have to wait a while to find out all of McConaughey's "Interstellar" ...

What Does Ben Affleck Have Planned For Batman? Jennifer Garner Knows All

Toronto — While promoting the upcoming drama "Dallas Buyers Club" at the Toronto Film Festival, actress Jennifer Garner got to talk about another big project coming out of her household in the near future: "Superman vs. Batman."

While Superman will be portrayed by the returning man of steel Henry Cavill, Garner's husband Ben Affleck won the role of Bruce Wayne — a definite high-profile role for even an Oscar winner like Affleck. Garner revealed to MTV News her initial reaction to learning that her husband had answered the Bat Signal's call.

"You know, I was excited for him," said Garner. "I was excited because he had a real take on what he wanted to do, and you know, I have to say, my husband is a pretty great storyteller himself, and I'm excited to watch him do it."

Seeing her husband slipping into a super suit will undoubtedly bring back a bit of deja vu for the couple, considering that they first met while filming the 2003 Marvel Comic film "Daredevil." The couple began dating after the film was released and were married in 2005, the same year that Garner took on the lead role in the superhero film "Elektra."

Affleck originated the role of Daredevil on the big screen, but he's just the latest in a long line of actors to fill the cape and cowl — actors that sometimes adopt a gruff Bat-voice. When asked if she has heard her husband testing out new voices, the actress, joked, "I hear every voice."

Filming begins on the still-untitled Superman and Batman team-up film ...

Toronto 2013 Reviews: Get Your First Look At This Year’s Oscar Hopefuls

Toronto — For years, the Toronto International Film Festival has been a veritable breeding ground for Academy Awards hopefuls, and from the looks of the first few days of reviews, the year's slate has been no different.

Critics, nearly unanimously, have declared 2013 to be a strong year for the TIFF selection, and reviews of new films starring Hugh Jackman, Chris Hemsworth, and Michael Fassbender only bolster their case.

Check out our review roundup from the folks over at Film.com to see what they're saying about this year's TIFF slate.

"Rush"
What You Need To Know "The two main characters of the film, which is based upon a true story, are drivers Niki Lauda (Daniel Bruhl) and James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth). The two couldn't be more different, Lauda, an Austrian, is all precision and science while the British Hunt embodies confidence and wild abandon. Their lifestyles, method of driving, and motivations are clearly in direct opposition, creating a natural rivalry that shows off the best side of sport, the true beauty of serious competition."

Should You See It? "Given the drivers are wearing helmets, and speed is difficult to convey without physical movement, accolades should be handed out to a film that, more than once, makes you think, 'Aaargh, don't crash!' A rich triumph that gracefully hammers home its themes, 'Rush' sets expectations and then defies them, the narrative crowning a hero only to show that there may have been another way to get there. The most compelling force in the film isn't one of the main characters so much as ...

Are The Sinister Six Next For Spider-Man? Paul Giamatti Thinks So

TorontoPaul Giamatti is not an idiot. Anyone who has seen the Academy Award nominee acting can attest to that, but when it comes to talking about his role in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," he has found himself in a complicated position.

Take, for example, when he sat down with MTV News' Josh Horowitz at the Toronto International Film Festival, where Giamatti is promoting the new JFK assassination drama "Parkland." He could reveal to MTV News that his role as the Rhino in the upcoming "Spider-Man" sequel — as it has been hinted elsewhere — is more of a stage-setting opening sequence.

"And I believe there's a lot of stage-setting for the next film. There are several villains in this movie, and some of them are more foreground and important. Jamie Foxx is and stuff," he said. "A couple of us are more hanging around the background because I think there will be a bigger deal."

For anyone closely following the trajectory of the Sony's rebooted "Amazing Spider-Man" series, that "bigger deal" shouldn't be anything new. It sounded to be a reference to the formation of the Sinister Six, a group compromised of some of Peter Parker's most notorious foes, a team that originally included Sandman, Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Vulture, and the villain in "Amazing Spider-Man 2," Electro.

But would Giamatti go as far as to confirm the Sinister Six as the "bigger deal"? Not so fast.

"I don't actually know, but that seems to be what they're doing," he said. "I'm not an idiot either, but I can't ...

Next ‘Avengers’ Villain Ultron Gets Blessing From Loki Himself

Toronto — As excited as most people were to hear that James Spader had been cast as the big bad guy in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," there was also a bittersweet aspect to the announcement. It symbolically ended the reign of Loki and Tom Hiddleston as the series' main villain.

Speaking with Hiddleston at the Toronto International Film Festival, MTV News' Josh Horowitz asked the former "Avengers" nemesis what he thinks of the new casting. Always the class act, he was ecstatic. "I love it," he said. "Absolutely love it."

"I always knew [Joss Whedon] would make a good choice," Hiddleston continued. "James Spader I've been a fan of for as long as I can remember. I saw him in 'Lincoln,' and it felt like I haven't seen James Spader for a while. I thought he was wonderful in it."

Hiddleston, better than any other person on the face of the Earth, knows what it takes to go toe-to-toe with the Avengers and live to talk about it, so his endorsement of Spader certainly bodes well. "I think he'll be able to play very interesting tennis with Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo," he said. "I'd say don't try to belittle the Hulk in any way."

And even though fans are already preparing to leave Loki behind as an Avengers villain, we're not quite done with the god of mischief just yet. He'll appear alongside his adopted brother, Thor, in the god of thunder's upcoming sequel "The Dark World," which could be the last time we see Loki. If that's the case, Hiddleston ...

Ariana Grande’s ‘Baby I’: The Most ’90s Throwback Moments

In her new video, Ariana Grande takes fans for a ride on the Express down Nostalgia Road. The clip, which officially dropped on Friday, follows the Yours Truly singer as she and her pals chill out on a bus, on a roof, in the street and at a house party, always dancing and laughing — putting out a major homage to the '90s.

So, when Grande told MTV News back in July that the video would have "lots of color. And lots of... baggy clothes. It'll make you smile," she wasn't lying. Those are only some of the elements that throw back to the '90s — here are the other nostalgic moments from the colorful clip:

Kickin' Old-School (Electronics)
In 2013, almost no one uses a payphone, unless you're Adam Levine in that Maroon 5 song, but still, that form of on-the-go communication makes an appearance in the clip. The boom box also makes an appearance in the clip. Grande may have been born in the '90s (1993, to be exact), but she certainly still has an appreciation for some of the decade's most-used electronics.

She Could Be a Farmer...
During the video, Grande sports some white overalls. Overalls became a staple in '90s closets, and a pair like Grande's were immortalized by fashion victim-turned-fashionista, Tai, during a party scene in the 1995 classic, "Clueless."

Check out Ariana's '90s Throwback Moments Here!

Mariah, You're On Fire
The MC comparisons won't end with the release of this video. There are several moments pulled from the legendary vocalist. For instance, the scene where Grande rides ...

Demi Lovato And Naya Rivera: Is It ‘Love’?

Demi Lovato kissed a girl, and she liked it — or at least her did.

Last month, Naya Rivera Rivera confirmed to MTV News that Lovato would be playing her Dani, one of Lea Michele's pals in NYC who gets a crush on her character, Santana. And now the "X Factor" judge is opening up about what it's like to play a gay character on the small screen.

"Well I took a meeting so before I even booked the role. I knew what the role was going to be, and [Naya Rivera and I] had an awesome time working together," Lovato told MTV News. "She's such a badass; I love her. And I've been friends with a lot of the people from the cast beforehand, so I feel right at home."

While Lovato isn't new to acting, playing a member of the LGBT community offered up a unique challenge for the former Disney star and multi-hyphenate performer. She added, "Figuring out how to represent that community... it's been pretty awesome to represent that on primetime TV."

Lovato will reportedly be on the show for a multi-episode arc, beginning in one of the first two episodes airing September 26. And when MTV News caught up with Rivera on the red carpet of the 2013 Video Music Awards, she seemed just as excited as Lovato.

"I mean, she's playing my love interest, so I'm very, very excited about that," Rivera said. "We get to sing a song together. It's gonna be good. I'm excited to work with her. We're bringing her to the ...
