Next ‘Transformers’ Film Gets Official Title And First Poster

When the next "Michael Bay has previously discussed, we will see the beginning of a new "Transformers" storyline and trilogy. But, as the recently revealed titled indicates, the new film starring Mark Wahlberg may also be the end of something.

The next movie in the series, according to the film's first teaser poster, will be "Transformers: Age of Extinction."

The one sheet has the same logo we've been seeing associated with the fourth movie in the series, covered partially in sand and sitting on what looks like the desert floor. A Decepticon symbol is split down the middle with a stylized "4" next to it. This had led many to believe that the title might opt for simply tacking on the number to the end, but "Age of Extinction" is in keeping with the two previous films, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," and "Transformers: Dark of the Moon."

"Age of Extinction" also seems like a clear reference to the series' newest additions to the robot roster. The fan-favorite Dinobots, robots that change into metallic dinosaurs as opposed to expensive cars, will appear in the fourth film. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura recently confirmed the rumor to Beijing News saying, "I cannot disclose the specifics, but you can be sure that the arrival of the Dinobots will give the audience a lot to be excited about."

The after-colon portion of the title may seem familiar for its similarities to another upcoming sequel, "Avenger: Age of Ultron." The follow-up to Marvel's superhero team-up, due in theaters May 1, 2015, announced ...

Kanye’s Kazakhstan Concert Not First Controversial Gig Of Its Kind

Kanye West pocketed a reported $3 million for his performance at the wedding of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev's grandson over the weekend, a controversial payout considering international protests over Nazarbayev's human rights record.

In recent years, the Human Rights Watch has criticized "deteriorating" freedoms in the nation, including "credible allegations of torture, the imprisonment of government critics, tightening controls over the media and continued violations of workers' rights." Nazarbayev himself has been described as an "ultimate oligarch," and has been accused of transferring at least $1 billion of oil revenues to his private bank accounts in other countries.

Two years ago, Sting canceled a concert in Kazakhstan after learning of the government's crackdown on striking oil workers, calling their treatment "unacceptable."

Of course, in recent years, this type of controversy has become common: In 2011, documents obtained by WikiLeaks revealed that several high-profile stars accepted sizeable paychecks to perform for dubious leaders. Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and Usher sang at New Year's Eve parties thrown by the family of (now deceased) Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi — Carey released a statement saying she was of who had booked her for the gig, while both Beyoncé and Usher announced they were donating their proceeds to various charities.

Ealier this year, Jennifer Lopez was criticized by the Human Rights Foundation for bringing in more than $9 million for entertaining "some of the world's worst thugs and their cronies." The HRF pointed to several private parties Lopez had performed at, including the June 2013 birthday party ...

Nicki Minaj Asserts ‘Baddest Bitch’ Status With Two New Music Videos

Nicki Minaj is everywhere. The Young Money cash queen has spent the summer lending her voice to tracks for Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, Mario, Ciara and Nelly, blessing them all with stunning music video appearances to match.

Well, the rapping Barbie shows no signs of slowing down. On Tuesday (September 3), Minaj appeared as a guest in two new music videos: one from DJ Khaled and another from Wale.

Khaled's is the first collaboration between the two since the charismatic DJ brought a 10-karat diamond ring up to MTV News and cooked up a marriage proposal for his YMCMB labelmate. There were no vows exchanged in the video, but Nicki managed to stand out in the Colin Tilley-directed clip, which also features Rick Ross and Future.

In the clip, which premiered on MTV Jams Tuesday, a blond-haired Nicki sits against a purple backdrop, wearing a white dress and rapping her rapid-fire rhymes. "Baddest bitch, I'm the catalyst/ Ain't never been done, bitch I added this," she rhymes. Throughout the clip Nicki keeps a serious tone about her, once again proving that she can hold her own when matched up against the boys.

Wale's "Clappers" takes on a drastically different tone, with Nicki sporting a drastically different look. The latest single from Wale's The Gifted is an ode to big butts that is set to a go-go-inspired instrumental. After the MMG standout and guest spitter Juicy J get their go, Nicki brings up the rear in the rump-shaking party, wearing a yellow tank top and pink tights. "Got ass ...

Lady Gaga Collabo? TLC Tease The ‘Posh’ Possibility

Besides their recent feature on J.Cole's single "Crooked Smile," it's been more than eight years since Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas have released music under the name TLC. But come October 15, the duo will be making their big return with an album featuring both new songs and rereleases of some of their most beloved tracks.

"We wouldn't call it a 'Greatest Hits'; a lot of people are saying that for some reason," T-Boz told MTV News after presenting Drake's performance at the 2013 VMAs. "We rerecorded all of our old hits and we'll have some additional new — hopefully — hits and smashes too."

Eleven years after Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes' was killed in a car accident, the duo has enlisted some surprise guests to fill in for the MC. T-Boz told us, "We're excited about that because so many artists are coming to the table and being so supportive about this whole situation."

Among those collaborators might just be Lady Gaga, who co-wrote "Posh Life," one of the new releases off TLC's upcoming LP, with Dallas Austin. T-Boz and Chilli said the Mother Monster recorded the song for herself but didn't release it to the public since it so blatantly resembled a TLC joint.

"She was like, 'I don't want to disrespect the girls,' so we were like, 'Let's sing it and see how it goes, I mean you wrote it.' It was so funny [hearing] her [sing] like us, so hilarious," T-Boz said. "I was just like, why not sing it then? And she was just ...

‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Cast: Do They Look Like Christian And Anastasia?

As soon as the news broke that Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam had won the lead roles in the movie adaptation, there seemed to be a wave of outrage that some of the fan favorites weren't cast as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.

One of the producers of the "Fifty Shades" movie, Dana Brunetti, took to Twitter to address some of the backlash. "There is a lot that goes into casting that isn't just looks. Talent, availability, their desire to do it, chemistry with other actor, etc," he wrote. But it appears that "looks" are exactly what fans are concerned about.

So how different are Johnson and Hunnam from their characters? We looked back at E L James' own words to judge how close producers came when casting Anastasia and Christian.

Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele
Unruly hair that "won't behave"
As a famous person, Johnson has better hair than your average college newspaper writer, Anastasia Steele included, but this is really just a matter of styling. You slap a sloppy ponytail on just about anyone, and they're covered in this department.

"I roll my eyes in exasperation and gaze at the pale, brown-haired girl with eyes too big for her face staring back at me, and give up." A sticking point for some of the more hardcore fans, and one of the reasons that a petition in support of "Gilmore Girls" actress Alexis Bledel gained traction, was the size of her eyes and her darker hair. Johnson would have to dye her hair if faithfulness to a detail as trivial ...

Taylor Swift Told Who To ‘Shut The F— Up’?

We now know what Miley Cyrus was thinking when she twerked her way through her Video Music Awards performance. But another pressing post-VMA question has also been burning up the Internet: Just what did Taylor Swift say — and who was she saying it to — when her ex, Harry Styles, was onstage presenting an award?

At the time, there was much speculation that Swift dismissed Styles with a curt profanity while One Direction was announcing the nominees for Best Pop Video. Others, however, maintained she said "Sorry for my arm," which had been resting on the back of best pal Selena Gomez's chair. In the week since the show, Swift has remained silent on the matter, leaving us in the lurch.

Thankfully, another of Taylor's besties, Ed Sheeran, is here to set the record straight.

In a Q&A session at a meet-and-greet, Sheeran revealed that Swift did, in fact, say "shut the f--- up," though it wasn't directed at Styles. Rather, she was attempting to boost Gomez's spirits, after Selena — whose "Come & Get It" was nominated for Best Pop Video — proclaimed she had no shot of winning the award.

"[Taylor] rung me straight afterward and she was like, 'I think I've messed up,' " Sheeran told the Q&A moderator. "Selena said to her, 'I think Miley's going to win the award over me,' and then Taylor said, 'Oh, shut the f--- up.' And that's what that was."

As it turns out, Taylor was right: Seconds later, Selena won Best Pop ...

Young Jeezy, YG To Thug It Out On ‘RapFix Live’

Young Jeezy hasn't dropped a solo LP in almost two years, but that doesn't mean the Snowman isn't hard at work. Not only has the Atlanta-based trap boss been fine-tuning his upcoming fifth solo LP, he's also been rebuilding his CTE rap team.

Most recently Jeezy signed Detroit group Doughboyz Cashout, but when the #1 Thug Motivator makes his way to "RapFix Live" Wednesday, he's bringing protégé YG with him.

The Compton, California rapper first rose to fame in 2009 thanks to his breakout single "Toot It and Boot It" and has since released a number of mixtapes. All that street buzz attracted Jeezy, who signed on to executive produce the youngster's debut album Welcome to Bompton.

"I'm finna tell my stories before when I was growing up, because people don't know my story like that," YG told MTV News back in March. "I'm finna tell 'em the story, then I'm finna tell sh-- that happened, I went to jail or stuff the homeys did — all that. I'm finna update 'em basically."

In May, Jeezy announced that he signed Doughboyz, a four-man group from Detroit that he included on last month's Boss Your Life Up Gang mixtape, which also featured YG, Nipsey Hussle and Rich Homie Quan.

With all of his team building, Young has been particularly quiet about his next album, but you can expect him to open up about it on "RapFix Live."

Catch Young Jeezy and YG on "RapFix Live" Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on MTV Jams and on RapFix.MTV.com. Be sure to join ...

Katy Perry And Sleigh Bells: We Found Four Crazy Parallels!

Brooklyn noise-pop band Sleigh Bells announced the release of their third record, Bitter Rivals, along with the video for a single by the same name early Tuesday (September 3). That video bears a striking similarity to the new, grittier image embraced by pop princess Katy Perry. Yup, the pop and indie worlds are colliding — not with a whimper but with a bang.

We're by no means suggesting that either party is biting the other. In fact, Perry and Sleigh Bells have markedly different visions for their upcoming records (Bells' Bitter Rivals drops on October 8, and Perry's Prism is slated for October 22). While Perry has been eagerly looking to shed her Teenage Dream persona and sink her talons into the dark side with jams like the "Dark Horse," Sleigh Bells are looking to step out of the blood-splattered Keds from their previous album cover and go lighter.

Guitarist Derek Miller told NME that the songs on Bitter Rivals come from a "different headspace, just more up and positive ... [The record is] not as dark ... I kind of worked through a lot of difficult stuff on the last record," he said, referring to the death of his father in 2009.

So think of it this way: Perry is getting darker, Sleigh Bells are getting lighter, and now the two are meeting the middle with some bizarro similarities. Check out four such parallels below:

The custom boxing robe biz is making a mint on Katy and Sleigh Bells. For Perry's ...
