‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Predictions: Who Is The Clairvoyant?

Warning: "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" spoilers are ahead.

Now that is in theaters, it's time for to suffer the consequences.

The titular agency is headed for a downfall, thanks to HYDRA's stranglehold and Cap's decision to blow the lid off of that conspiracy. As of tonight, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will deal with that fallout, and it could start with the revelation of the Clairvoyant's identity — the show's main enigmatic enemy, and someone who seems to be a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.

But who is the Clairvoyant? Before the series gets the chance to answer that question itself, here are our final predictions for who the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." antagonist really is.

Victoria Hand
At the end of last week's episode, Hand was revealed to be working against Coulson's team. It's not a surprise for anyone who knows Hand from the comics, as she was a famous ally of Norman Osborn's when he was the H.A.M.M.E.R. head honcho. It feels a little obvious to make Hand the Clairvoyant, but perhaps the mystery has a straightforward answer.

Jasper Sitwell
Sitwell's true allegiance to HYDRA was one of the bigger surprises in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." Since he showed up in last week's episode, it's clear the series has greater designs on Sitwell and his role in the Clairvoyant conspiracy. Is he the Clairvoyant himself? Perhaps not, but it's likely they're in league, at the very least.

John Garrett
Bill Paxton has brought unparalleled energy and presence to every episode he's appeared in. He's made an immediate impact as a ...

Kurt Cobain And Hip-Hop: Your Favorite Rapper’s Favorite Rocker

When the lyrics to Jay Z's "Holy Grail" were released last June — just days before his Magna Carta Holy Grail album — one particular part grabbed headlines: his use of the famous refrain from Nirvana's 1991 hit "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

Once the audio hit, we heard that it was also Justin Timberlake, not just Hov, singing the band's lyrics — while Jay name-dropped lead singer Kurt Cobain in his first verse. But that didn't change the question. Why were two of music's biggest names repurposing Cobain's famous words two decades after his death?

Hov and JT weren't trailblazing with their "Teen Spirit" interpretation; they were actually continuing a longstanding trend of hip-hop's homage to the late Nirvana frontman, who was found dead in his home on this day in 1994. Cobain had taken his life on April 5, but it was on April 8 that the news broke and the world learned of his passing.

In both his life and death, Cobain represents some of the very pillars hip-hop is built on: rebelliousness, innovation and voicing a generation. His disinterest in and complicated relationship with fame has become a hallmark of his rap relatability — including songs like "Holy Grail."

"F--k the fame, keep cheating on me, what I do, I took her back/ Fool me twice that's my bad, I can't even blame her for that/ Enough to make me wanna murder, momma please just get my bail/ I know nobody to blame, Kurt Cobain, I did it to myself," Jay raps, expressing feelings often echoed by ...

Miley Cyrus Reveals Something Way Bigger Than ‘My Little Outfits’ In Elle

Miley Cyrus may be big on the tripped-out costumes and crazy onstage antics, but she said that all of that is outweighed by helping her fans overcome issues of identity and depression — two things she understands all too well.

"I have guys and girls that come out, and they're like, 'The only reason I'm able to admit that I'm gay is because you've made me feel like that's OK,' " Cyrus told Tavi Gevinson in the latest issue of Elle. "That is so intense, because that is a part of this generation — it wasn't always accepted — and I feel like I am a big part of that change."

"Or they know that I've struggled with depression, and that helped them get over theirs," she added. "That gives me a big purpose — a reason to wake up in the morning that's bigger than to put on my f--king feathers and my little outfits."

Still, Cyrus defends those onstage foibles to a certain degree, asserting that she is a feminist and adding, "Guy rappers grab their crotch all f--king day and have hos around them, but no one talks about it. But if I grab my crotch and I have hot model bitches around me, I'm degrading women? I'm a woman — I should be able to have girls around me! But I'm part of the evolution of that. I hope."

The Cyrus/Gevinson interview promises to reveal more about Cyrus' own evolution as well — from Disney star to pop musician. Cyrus opines that Disney stardom was a positive experience ...

Chris Brown Behind Bars In D.C. After Epic Cross-Country Con-Air Flight

After an epic five-day, cross-country flight on a federal Con-Air prisoner plane, Chris Brown finally landed in Washington, D.C., on Monday night, where he is awaiting trail in an assault case.

According to CNN, when Brown landed he was met by U.S. marshals, who took him to the local lock-up. The singer was reportedly chained at his ankles, wrists and arms for much of the time he was in custody, which began on Wednesday when Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies turned him over to the marshals.

While in transit, Brown, 24, missed a Monday court appearance where his lawyer, Mark Geragos, attempted to convince a judge that the assault charge his client is facing should be tossed out because of prosecutorial misconduct. Judge Patricia Wynn rejected Geragos' argument that U.S. attorneys abused the grand jury process in preparing their case against the singer.

The Con-Air flight took so long because it uses heavily guarded passenger planes that make multiple stops across the country to pick up and drop off prisoners.

Brown and bodyguard Christopher Hollosy have been charged with assaulting a man
outside a D.C. hotel in October. Both men are facing misdemeanor charges in the case, with Hollosy slated to begin his trial on April 17 and Brown going to court on April 21.

The long flight was the continuation of Brown's latest legal troubles. He was sent to jail in Los Angeles on March 14
after getting kicked out of a rehab program for violating its rules, itself a violation of Brown's probation from his 2009 assault on ...

"I made it over NBA, NFL players, so every time I score it's like the Super Bowl," he spits over the Metro Boomin beat.

Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill Interrogated In ’22 Jump Street’ Takeover

Pop quiz, hot shot. You have Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill glued to their seats, locked inside of an interrogation room with no way out — except by answering your questions. What do you ask them? What do you do?

If you're anything like MTV's Josh Horowitz, your questions for the artists sometimes known as undercover police officers Jenko and Schmidt will err on the side of ridiculousness. During MTV's Takeover, Horowitz spent hours interrogating Tatum and Hill about their private lives and most personal details — and the results are, as expected, ludicrous.

For instance, have you ever wondered if Jonah Hill has gotten lost in Channing Tatum's eyes? Hill claims he hasn't, but Tatum claims Hill is lying.

"I'm not lying," Hill squirms. "I'm telling the truth. But who cares. No, but no. Whatever."

The line of inquiry gets even more personal, as Horowitz asks Tatum, well-known for his "Magic Mike" magic, if he's ever gotten, er, aroused, while stripping.

"This is TV," Tatum answers diplomatically. "I'm not going to answer that."

That's just scratching the surface, as Horowitz got to the bottom of several other mysteries, including how Tatum feels now that Adam Levine has taken over the Sexiest Man Alive crown, and how someone might find the way to their "Jump Street" co-star Ice Cube's heart. Watch and revel in the madness.

What do you make of Horowitz's "22 Jump Street" interrogation?

Start the summer movie season with the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Conan O'Brien, Sunday, April 13 @ 9/8c! Get ready for the show with exclusive ...
