In "Kick-Ass 2," Hit-Girl can handle anything thrown her way — including a six-foot Russian bodybuilding villain named Mother Russia — but there's one thing that 16-year-old actress Chlõe Grace Moretz just isn't ready to tangle with: teenagers.
After bringing the horrors of high school to life in two back-to-back films — "Kick-Ass 2" and the upcoming remake of "Carrie" — Moretz told MTV News' Josh Horowitz that she's quite happy with her homeschool lifestyle. "I'm happy I'm not in high school in real life [after making those movies]," said Moretz. "I'm happy I'm not having to have to walk through high school. Teenagers, I'm telling you, they terrify me. They scare me."
Being a teenager herself, Moretz eased off her position a bit, saying that not every teenager scares her. "My fans are sweet, but some, especially private school teenagers, are very scary," clarified Moretz. "They're just very serious."
Things are bound to get more serious for Moretz, though, as she nears her own high school graduation. It looks like Hit-Girl may be on her way to higher education, as Moretz said that she's "contemplating doing early college stuff."
Unlike most 16-year-olds, though, Moretz has a career in full-swing. In addition to appearing in the two "Kick-Ass" films, she's also earned critical and commercial success with her roles in "Hugo," "(500) Days of Summer," and "Diary of a Wimpy Kid," as well as a recurring role as Alec Baldwin's nemesis on the sitcom "30 Rock."
