On the sticky, stylish track that's shown no signs of loosening its grip on the summer-anthem crown, Robin Thicke sweetens his dirty desires with a jubilant beat and an equally smile-inducing video. While the R&B star has a similar message on his brand-new track, "Take It Easy On Me," this time, he's removing the sugar and getting straight to the point.

While "Blurred Lines" is a track to dance in your socks to, the Timbaland-produced "Take It Easy On Me" demands stilettos. And Tim's synth-heavy fingerprints can be seen all over the club-ready track, which finds Thicke using his smooth R&B voice in a slightly more aggressive manner, all making his intentions that much more clear.

"I'll rip through all your fancy clothes/ I want to shop for your underwear/ I wanna do it all so close/ Baby, I can make it worth your while," Thicke sings. "When I look right through your dress, I want your cherry pie."

Just in case that didn't quite get through, Timbaland joins in on Thicke's pleas: "Do it, do it/ Hypnotize me," he repeats. "Do it, do it take it easy on me."

As if the Justin Timberlake vs. Robin Thicke feud fire weren't blazing strong enough — just take a look at all the comparisons between the "Blurred Lines" video and JT's equally naked "Tunnel Vision" clip — "Take It Easy On Me" perhaps throws in yet another log. While they are by no means identical, it's all very reminiscent of JT's ubiquitous 2006 track "SexyBack."

is a rarity among this summer's blockbusters in that it's completely original, based solely on the imagination of its creators. But that also means that it has more work to do — especially if it's successful.

If it's a hit, audiences will likely demand a sequel. But given its monsters-versus-robots set-up, a follow-up doesn't sound too difficult to imagine. In fact, the film's co-writer and director Guillermo del Toro already has a few ideas for a follow-up, and when MTV News caught up with him, he detailed what exactly he has in mind.

"I'll tell you a couple of things. We will have Gipsy 2.0 for sure," del Toro told MTV News, referring to one of the many giant robots that fight monsters. "We will have Gipsy 2.0 for sure. Second thing is you're gonna see a merging of Kaiju and Jaeger. And that is quite special."

Following the adventures of human soldiers who pilot giant robots called jaegers to fight against undersea monsters called Kaiju, the film climaxes with an enormous showdown underwater as the last remaining robots fight to close a portal between our world and the one from which the monsters emerge. Del Toro said that if nothing else, this epic showdown produced a few promising ideas about how to further explore this larger-than-life world and push its mythology into new territory.

Miley Cyrus might be about 300,000 Twitter followers away from revealing her album title, but one of the folks she worked with is already spilling some details about the project.

Songwriter/producer Sean Garrett, who has penned songs for Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Fergie, opened up to MTV News about hitting the studio with the singer as she prepares to launch her post-Disney music career.

"Man, that was a really, really exciting relationship, just getting in the studio with Miley. This was my first time working with her, and I actually thought she was going to be a lot different, to be honest with you," he said. "But she is down-to-earth and so funny ... Being that she's had so much success, sometimes you work with certain artists and they be so into themselves, but she was so down-to-earth."

"It made the music-making process so much easier," he added. "When you've got someone who's cool and understands that it's about taking your life and putting it on music and actually putting it on tape, the songs were coming so easy and the conversation was so easy."

Daft Punk may have their own official action figures and Coke bottles, but what about official condoms? The Daft Punk helmet is practically ubiquitous at point, but when it comes to the "Get Lucky" condoms that popped up on the Web this week, those helmets are strictly off-brand, as Durex denies a team-up.

A Durex rep, however, told MTV News that they have not been working with the band. "We are aware of reports that Durex has launched Daft Punk branded condoms following their hit single 'Get Lucky,' " he said. "There is no Durex promotion or partnership with Daft Punk in the U.S. or any other markets and Durex is not posting free packs to the world's top DJs as suggested. However, we do hope that by using Durex condoms, music-lovers will continue to make sweet music together and have great sex!"

After Diplo posted a picture of an opened Durex-branded condom package to Instagram this week, word started flying around the Web that Daft Punk and Durex had a special-edition condom collabo.

Britney Spears may be joining the blueberry-colored Smurfs family in her video for but she looks red-hot in a form-fitting cherry-colored dress.

The Marc Klasfeld-directed video, which premiered on Thursday (July 11), opens with Britney and her two sons, Jayden and Sean, sitting in a theater checking out a screening of "The Smurfs 2," the July 31 sequel to the hit 2011 flick. But before long, their trip to the cinema takes a turn for the wacky.

"Check this out! This is the best part right here," Britney tells Jayden and Sean before she becomes a part of the movie by getting zapped into the Smurfs' cartoon world.

Spears chills with the blue family, much to the delight of her children. "Cool!" they proclaim in unison when they see their mom up on the big screen.

Spears is all smiles as the feel-good track serves as the soundtrack for her romp around the Smurfs' tiny village. In between shots of the singer hanging out with the blueberry-colored stars (including Katy Perry's Smurfette), there are scenes straight from the flick. They give fans a taste of some of the action, including what's in store for stars Neil Patrick Harris and Hank Azaria, who plays bad guy Gargamel. It seems like once again these two will face off against one another with the Smurfs caught in the middle.
