Lil Twist Arrested For DUI While Driving Justin Bieber’s Car

Rapper Lil Twist was arrested in Calabasas, California, early Thursday morning (July 11) after police stopped him for speeding around 3:30 a.m.

According to Los Angeles County Sheriff's department spokesperson Steve Whitmore, Justin Bieber's frequent sidekick (born Christopher Lynn Moore) was stopped at 3:26 a.m. on the road leading into Bieber's exclusive gated community when police spotted him driving between 60 and 70 m.p.h. in a 30 m.p.h. construction zone and then running a red light. During the stop Whitmore said the officers smelled marijuana and arrested the Young Money MC on suspicion of DUI. Whitmore confirmed that Twist, 20, was driving the high-end electrical car registered in Bieber's name.

He was booked for suspicion of DUI and Whitmore said he will be cited and released and ordered back to court on September 11. It was unknown at press time if Twist had been released from custody; a spokesperson for the rapper could not be reached for comment at press time.

The arrest came hours after Twist tweeted that he was going into radio silence for the time being. "Attn all media outlets ....." he wrote. "I'm done with all interviews for a good minute !!! My movement is only gonna get bigger !! If you have any questions .... From now on come ask me in front of my whole team on ustream.tv/liltwistv every Tuesdays & Thursdays!! Uhohh #Newrules."

Next Bond Movie Locked And Loaded For November 2015

In traditional James Bond fashion, "

"Bond 24," as it will be known until an official title is announced, will open in U.S. theaters on November 6, 2015 with Daniel Craig back as 007 and Academy Award winner and "Skyfall" director Sam Mendes returning to helm. John Logan, the co-writer of the last movie, is writing the script.

"I am very pleased that by giving me the time I need to honour all my theatre commitments, the producers have made it possible for me to direct Bond 24," Mendes said in a statement. "I very much look forward to taking up the reins again, and to working with Daniel Craig, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli for a second time."

If release dates remain the same, "Bond 24" will face stiff competition at the box office, since Marvel's "Ant-Man" is currently slotted for the same November 6 release date.

Thursday's announcement most likely came as a relief to many of the fans who were hoping to see a "Skyfall" reunion. Producers originally planned on releasing the flick in 2014, but later pushed it back a year after Mendes said "theatre and other commitments" prevented him from getting to work right away.

"Skyfall" celebrated Bond's 50th anniversary last year in a very big way, taking in $1.1 billion at the global box office, marking the highest take for the series to date. Craig's current contract with EON Productions has him locked into the role through "Bond 25," which Logan will also write.

Adam Lambert Joining Cast Of ‘Glee’

Adam Lambert is coming back to the Fox network. No, the perpetual rumors about him joining
"American Idol" as a judge aren't true. The season eight runner-up has signed up to join the cast of "Glee" for the upcoming fifth season.

Show runner Ryan Murphy announced the news on Wednesday, writing, "I am thrilled to announce that the super talented Adam Lambert is joining the cast of 'Glee' this fall."

Lambert will be the second "Idol" alum to sign up for the show, following in the footsteps of season 11 second-place finisher Jessica Sanchez, who had a two-episode arc last season as rival diva Frida Romero. There was no information at press time about what role Lambert would play and whether he'll be a new series regular or, like Sanchez, have a brief role.

The role is perfect for Lambert, who told the Hollywood Reporter earlier this year that he's a big fan. Before the Murphy invite, Lambert said the show was "so cute" and praised it for really painting, "a picture of what it's like to be an arts kid in high school ... 'Glee' is really irresistible — it's charming." He told the magazine that he'd love to play himself on the show, much as he did on "Pretty Little Liars" last year.

"Glee" has a long track record of sprinkling in guest stars among its regular cast, including story lines involving Britney Spears, Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Neil Patrick Harris, Kristin Chenoweth, Gwyneth Paltrow, Eve, Charice, Molly Shannon, NeNe Leakes, Josh Groban, Ricky Martin, ...

‘Pacific Rim’: Guillermo del Toro Is ‘Romantically Embracing’ His Film

Front-loaded with massive monsters and building-sized robots assembled to battle them, "Pacific Rim" promises the kind of spectacle that you absolutely cannot miss. But director and co-writer Guillermo del Toro told MTV News that he deliberately constructed much of the action with the opposite intent — to obscure the action and capture it off-center. He wanted to give it a real-world believability in spite of its fantastical foundations.

"I think that the amount of construction we put in the visuals of the movie and the sensibility that guides the special effects is quite unique," del Toro explained. "We not only create a world that feels dented and injured and sort of oxidized and rusty and all that, but we also create a unique approach to effects. There are no super special shots going around the building through the eye of the Kaiju."

Del Toro's previous work includes both "Hellboy" movies, "Blade II," and the acclaimed Spanish film "Pan's Labyrinth." Working on his biggest canvas to date, the filmmaker explained that he and his creative team deliberately tried to shoot the robot-on-monster action as if it were actually happening in front of a cameraman who was hanging on for dear life trying to capture it all.

'Pacific Rim': The Reviews Are In!

"We shot with ILM [company Industrial Light & Magic] saying, 'OK, where is the camera? Is it in a boat? Is it on a helicopter?' " he revealed. "We often cut back to the same angle, so you get a sense that this fight was shot for real. We splash the ...

Adam Sandler Titled ‘Grown Ups 2’ Because It’s ‘Easy To Spell’

Sequels to popular films often get big changes in their titles — whether it's a fancy colon and a subtitle ("Pirates of the Carribbean: Dead Man's Chest"), a few additional words ("A Good Day To Die Hard") or just a new noun ("Monster's University). But Adam Sandler said when naming their latest film, they just tacked on a 2 to get "Grown Ups 2" because of some remarkably simple logic.

"It was the easiest to spell," Sandler told MTV News' Josh Horowitz. Sandler also revealed that it was one of his longtime colleagues who came up with "Grown Ups," after they struggled to find a name for the original movie. "Colin Quinn came up with the title for 'Grown Ups.' He sure did — we didn't know what to call it. In the beginning it was just called 'The Lake Movie.' "

David Spade, who co-starred in both films with Sandler, said that he had an alternate suggestion he thought would have been good. "My idea was Spade and friends," he said. But Sandler explained that they jettisoned that idea: "Yeah, yeah, yeah, But it didn't test well," Sandler said.

Horowitz asked castmembers Sandler, Spade, Kevin James and Salma Hayek what were the ingredients of a good sequel. James' answer was surprising: "Butter," he said. "Cocoa."

"Those are [his] ingredients for everything," Hayek joked.

Spade, meanwhile, observed that the key to a good sequel is the sense that the people making it committed an equal if not greater effort to its construction than the original. "I think in a good sequel, you shake it ...
