In "White House Down," Channing Tatum was challenged to harness his inner John McClane and more or less single-handedly rescue the president after the White House gets taken over. In his next film, "Jupiter Ascending," he's going to flex his muscles as the next Keanu Reeves, performing action sequences for "Matrix" filmmakers the Wachowskis that are meant to outdo even what Neo was capable of.

Tatum spoke with MTV News at the press day for "White House Down," where he also revealed a few details about the arduous shoot for "Jupiter Ascending," which he admitted was pushing him in directions that he had never gone before.

"It's crazy — it's a tough movie," Tatum told MTV News' Josh Horowitz. "We're trying to do stuff that's never been done before, in three different aspects. We're trying to do stuff that's never been done in CG before, we're doing stuff with cameras that's never been done before, and we're trying to do stuff with stunts — like, actual, real stuff so we don't have to use a bunch of CGI stuff."

Tatum's pedigree as an action star is expanding at an exponential rate. Although he appeared in "Fighting" and the first "G.I. Joe" a few years ago, his supporting turn in "Haywire" led to not only "White House Down" but the opportunity he's currently, ahem, "enjoying" on the set of the Wachowskis' latest.

Tony Holden, the 36-year old suspected killer of Meek Mill protégé Lil Snupe, has turned himself into authorities.

According to a statement released to MTV News by Louisiana's Winnfield City Police Department on Tuesday (June 25) afternoon, Holden was booked into custody without incident into Winnfield City Jail and formally charged with 1st degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. No bond has been set as of the time of this reporting.

Holden was identified as the lead suspect in the murder of Snupe (born Addarren Ross) last week after the WPD's investigation revealed that the fatal shooting of the Dream Chasers artist was the result of an altercation that erupted during a private video-game session at a friend's apartment. The R.N.I.C. MC was in town visiting from Jonesboro when he was fatally shot twice in the torso.

While issuing a warning that Holden was to be "considered armed and dangerous," police officials urged anyone with knowledge of Holden's whereabouts to contact them immediately. The manhunt likely prompted the Winnfield native to come to the realization that he couldn't outrun investigators, who had acted promptly to locate the accused by releasing a full description and color photograph of their man to the general public.

Prior to his untimely demise, Snupe was an up-and-coming 18-year-old rapper signed to Meek Mill's record label late last year after the young upstart handed over his demo during the MMG rapper's Grambling State University tour stop.

Chris Brown is not taking his latest bout with the law quietly. The singer has been charged in connection with an accident he was in last month in Los Angeles, but has taken to social media to address the claims, calling them "really ridiculous."

L.A. City Attorney has filed the charges against the singer after he allegedly got into an accident with a Mercedes Benz and refused to show his driver's license and reportedly gave false insurance information. He then left the scene of the accident. He has been charged with two counts, including hit-and-run (leaving the scene of the accident with exchanging proper information) as well as driving without a valid license, according to TMZ. He could face six months in jail for each offense.

Brown took to Twitter on Tuesday (June 25), shortly after the report surfaced, where he shot down the claims.

"It's not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars)... I have a valid drivers license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene. She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures. My lawyers will be contacting you," he tweeted in a lengthy tirade on his social media account.

He continued, "I will not stand for this bullying and yellow journalism! My profile pic is the pic I took of the persons car after 'the hit and run'. NO damage. Just a dirty car. once ...

Fans haven't heard a single from Jay-Z's upcoming Magna Carta Holy Grail, but judging from a couple of choice song lyrics, it seems that Hov is digging into some pretty deep stuff on his new album.

A day after the lyrics to were released online, team Jigga has released lyrics to "Heaven" via the same Samsung phone app that will deliver the album to Hov diehards on July 4. It's officially here! The Jonas Brothers have dropped their new single, The brothers let the song out into the world on Tuesday (June 25), giving fans the chance to hear what else they've been cooking up for their forthcoming album release.

The song, released on iTunes, is a departure from the up-tempo "Pom Poms," both in mood and tone. Whereas "Pom Poms" favored marching bands and a peppier, pop rock sound, "First Time" has a moodier, electronic vibe. The mid-tempo single has vocal loops and synths as the guys sing on the chorus, "Come on let it set you free/Right here, right now/ Where you supposed to be/ Make it feel like the first time."

This is hardly the first listen fans have gotten to the track. It leaked early this month and they've performed it live several times, including at their reunion show last October at NYC's Radio City Music Hall and an unplugged version at the O Music Awards last week.
