9 GIFs That Prove Beyonce Is One Of The World’s ‘Most Influential People’

The reign of Beyoncé has only just begun. Time magazine has revealed their annual list of the 100 Most Influential People, and it should come as no surprise that Mrs. Carter has landed on one of the covers.

Bey rewrote the rules in 2013, beginning with performances at President Obama's inauguration and the Super Bowl, which led into a sold-out international jaunt that she dubbed The Mrs. Carter Show.

In December she dropped her self-titled album out of thin air, tossing out old music industry standards and introducing a new model that multiple artists have tried to duplicate since then.

The 32-year-old appears on the black-and-white cover wearing a two-piece swimsuit with a sheer cover up, striking the perfect balance between sexy and sophisticated. It'd be easy to wax poetic about Bey all day, but these GIFs also reiterate why she's simply the baddest.

She Reminds Us That Working Moms Can Still Run The World

In addition to being an insanely talented entertainer, Bey is also a dedicated wife and mother to her daughter Blue Ivy (who has already visited more countries that most of us will in an entire lifetime). Blue has been Beyonce's "road dog" while she continues to tour the world.

She Dances So Hard That The Lights Go Out

Because unless you were really a hardcore fan of the San Francisco 49ers or the Baltimore Ravens, nothing that happened during the entire Super Bowl was as important as Beyonce's performance. Except, maybe the temporary Superdome blackout that she caused by dancing so hard.

Her Mean Mug Is ...

Mark Zuckerberg Flashes Twinkle Toes In New Wax Statue

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Rihanna are totally hanging out in San Francisco this summer — and it looks like Leonardo DiCaprio will be bro'ing down as well.

Well, at least they'll be bro'ing down in effigy; the trio of stars will live forever in wax at the soon-to-be-opened Madame Tussauds wax museum on Fisherman's Wharf.

The Madame's new digs don't open until June 26, but Mashable caught a sneak peek at the goods this week, feasting eyes on a smiling wax Zuckerberg, barefoot in the lotus position, toting a computer (cleverly non-branded). The Facebook founder joins fellow tech stars Steve Jobs and Bill Gates in Madame Tussaud's collection of stiffs.

According to Mashable, Zuckerberg didn't sit for the figure. It took 20 artists several months to construct his hoodied form, and his hair, which is real, by the way, was inserted strand by strand. Looks like both the real and faux Zuckerberg are true mold-breakers.

How many Facebook profile snaps do you think will include waxy Zuckerberg come summer? I'm guessing legion. Meta.

Final ‘Hobbit’ Movie Gets A New (And Better) Title

Last week, TheOneRing.net reported that the third "get a name change. According to the site's source, the final chapter of Bilbo's adventure would be called "Into the Fire."

I weighed the pros and cons of a possible change and argued that a previously rumored title, "The Battle of Five Armies," was actually more fitting and more — well — badass. And while I can't confirm that Peter Jackson reads MTV.com, his latest Facebook post at least suggests we think alike.

That's because the final film in the director's prequel trilogy will be called "The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies."

PJ gave a pretty logical explanation for the change on his Facebook. Basically, calling one third of the story "There and Back Again" doesn't make sense when you consider that's how Tolkien referred to the entire story of Bilbo's journey to the Lonely Mountain and back.

"When we did the premiere trip late last year, I had a quiet conversation with the studio about the idea of revisiting the title," Jackson wrote. "We decided to keep an open mind until a cut of the film was ready to look at. We reached that point last week, and after viewing the movie, we all agreed there is now one title that feels completely appropriate."

As the new title would suggest, the beyond-epic Battle of Five Armies pitting the good dwarves, humans and elves against orcs and wargs will take up the majority of the last movie. When I spoke with Luke Evans, who plays Bard, he suggested that Jackson was looking to ...

Justin Bieber’s Latest Shirtless Selfie: Notice Something Off?

Don't get me wrong: I'm a huge fan of shirtless Justin Bieber.

Justin shirtless on the street, Justin shirtless in an airport, Justin shirtless with Rick Ross, Justin shirtless on Instagram: I beliebe in it all.

But Biebs' most recent shirt-shedding caught me a little off-guard, and I couldn't quite place where my bafflement was coming from.

Perhaps it was the quasi-inspiring caption? "Love your neighbor as yourself. And btw your neighbor isn't just the one next door ;) #wordsofencouragement ♛" Is he saying that to his body? I mean, do what you gotta do, Justin. Maybe he was just acting out the idiom "getting something off your chest."

Maybe it was his ultra-veiny hand? Or the way the shadows play against him?

No. Justin's latest selfie reveals some serious pectoral action going on — too much, in fact, that maybe it looks like he's about to breastfeed. (I said it so you don't have to, Beliebers.) His chest muscles are so mountainous peek out from his shirt and his thick gold chain falls down to the side.

The real problem with this shirtless seduction is that, well, Bieber is only HALF shirtless. And that doesn't seem to be Bizzle's style.

All I can say is: a Pharrell hat-tip to you, friend, for making stylish strides. We'll be seeing the half-shirt on runways in Milan soon. After all, you did say, "I am fashion."

‘American Idol’ Recap: We Think We Know Who The Winner Is

"American Idol's" Top 6 played it a little bit country, a little bit rock and roll on Wednesday, with every contestant singing one song from each genre.

At this point in the competition, a clear picture is starting to emerge of how this season will shake out, and Wednesday's show reinforced those standings. Put plainly: This is now Caleb Johnson's to lose, and everyone else is fighting for scraps.

Here's how Wednesday's show unfolded.

Caleb Goes To Town On Black Crowes
Caleb Johnson has been a rock week in and week out in the competition, a clear frontrunner from the jump off, and on Wednesday he turned in his best performance yet when he belted out the Black Crowes' "Sting Me" in a way that would make Chris Robinson himself throw his hands up in praise. Johnson got so caught up in the performance that at one point he dropped his microphone, but as it rolled off he scooped it up without missing a note, and his reaction in the moment only made the performance stronger.

His second song — a rockin' take on Carrie Underwood's "Undo It" — made Keith Urban quip, "I can't wait to hear what country song you do later," but the first was so strong the night was undoubtedly his.

"When you take the perfect song choice and couple that with an incredible performance, it's virtually impossible to beat," Harry Connick Jr. told him.

Jena Takes On Heart, Alex Lets Out His 'Animal'
If things continue on their current trajectory, Jena Irene and Alex Preston will finish second and third, respectively, ...
