‘Iron Man 3’: The ‘Top-Secret’ Story Behind Mark Ruffalo’s Cameo

As with all of Marvel's movies, ended with an Easter egg — this time, a little button of a scene between Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and a decidedly unengaged Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), as the eponymous superhero recounts his post-"Avengers" experiences.

According to Mark Ruffalo, that scene was conceived and abandoned at least once before time actually came to film it.

"There was some talk of it, and then I heard we weren't going to do it," Ruffalo told MTV News while promoting in New Orleans. "But then I saw Robert at the Academy Awards, and he pulled me aside and said, 'Hey, I have this idea. What do you think?' "

Ruffalo, who has praised his Marvel experience effusively since taking the role of Banner/ the Hulk in "The Avengers," said he was forced to engage in some subterfuge with the press in order to shoot the scene.

"We snuck downtown to a location and shot with [director] Shane Black and had a couple of pages," he explained. "We riffed with it a little bit and shot it, and I snuck out. I remember [I] picked up a paparazzi, and my driver had to drive into the Paramount lot to lose him. And I was laying in the back, and it was just top-secret — no one could know who Robert was working with that day."

When asked if audiences might get to see him again as either Banner or Hulk before "The Avengers 2," Ruffalo said he was unaware whether there were any plans to bring him back ...

Christina Aguilera Returning To ‘The Voice,’ Cee Lo Green Near Deal

It looks like Shakira's stint in the spinning chair will be a short one. According to Deadline Hollywood, original judge Christina Aguilera is close to wrapping a deal that would have her return to "The Voice" for season five.

Aguilera, who took a hiatus
for the current season in order to promote her Lotus album, was replaced by Shakira on the show, which has just gone into its live rounds. Fellow judge Cee Lo Green also skipped the current season in order to work on his Loberace Las Vegas show and other projects,
is also in talks to make his return to the show; he was replaced by Usher.

The Hollywood Reporter claimed that Aguilera's salary for season five could be in the vicinity of $12 million, though other reports peg her salary as high as $17 million, which is just a shade under the $18 million Mariah Carey reportedly earned for her one season of

When Aguilera and Green announced their plans to take a powder last summer, show producer Mark Burnett said it was not unexpected for stars of their stature to have other commitments that might take them away from the program from time to time. Fellow judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are expected to be back for season five as well.

A spokesperson for NBC could not be reached for comment at press time and network representatives did not discuss the judges during their upfront presentation to advertisers on the 2014 season on Monday ...

Demi Lovato Celebrates New Album ‘Live From MTV’ Today!

It's the day Lovatics have been waiting for: Demi Lovato's latest album, Demi, is out now, and she'll be at 3 p.m. ET on MTV.com and MTV Hits for an exclusive live stream.

Since Lovato previewed the album in its entirety last week, she's heard everything fans have had to say about her latest project.

"They weren't expecting it at all, and that's kind of what made it so fun," she told MTV News. "The most common thing that I've heard is they love every single song on it. My goal for this album was not to put a song on the album that was just filler. A lot of times there are album fillers, and that was not my goal. I didn't put a song on the album that couldn't potentially become a single. So there's going to be a lot of singles off this album, which I'm excited about."

The girl-power tone on the album, which includes a duet with feisty British songbird Cher Lloyd, certainly was set by the album's lead single,

"It was a great first single. It was a strong, confident song right off the gate, saying, this is who I am and in your face," she said. "My whole thing is just about women empowerment. I think women can do so much to change the world. Like women created, gave birth to men, so they should just remember that! I'm a bit of a feminist, and I think there are so many great opportunities.

"When I shared my story, I had ...

‘Star Trek’ Reboot Almost Returned With A ‘Vengeance’

Since the inception of the series, every "Star Trek" film has shared one thing in common: the name of the television series that inspired it.

Although "The Wrath of Khan," "Generations" and "First Contact" are now synonymous with those installments, they're still "Star Trek" movies to the core. And when asked if there was a possibility that he and his collaborators might have considered removing those two magic words from the title of director J.J. Abrams said no, but admitted they did discuss other options for the upcoming sequel.

"We always had 'Star Trek' in the title in some way," Abrams told MTV News. "But there were other things we talked about. There's a very intimidating, giant black ship in this called the Vengeance, so we talked about that name, 'Vengeance,' but it also seemed like a word that was being used quite a bit in movies and it felt a little familiar."

The 'Star Trek Into Darkness' Fights Were 'Exhausting And Exhilarating' For Newcomer Benedict Cumberbatch.

Not unlike "The Empire Strikes Back," widely considered the best sci-fi sequel of all time, "Star Trek Into Darkness" ventures into more philosophically complex and, yeah, darker territory than its predecessor. The new film reassembles the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise for another adventure, this time as Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto) and company track down John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch), a fugitive terrorist who is determined to destroy Starfleet and everything it stands for. Abrams once again steps into the director's chair, working from a script by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. "Star ...

Owl City’s Oreo Commercial Has Him Feeling ‘Wonderfilled’

On Sunday night, sandwiched between the dour denouement of Don Draper's latest affair and a whole lot of discussion about margarine on "Mad Men," Oreo officially unveiled its brand-new "Wonderfilled" campaign with a cutesy, 90-second cartoon featuring a jingle sung by Owl City.

Over some seriously whimsical animation — seriously, it's like Etsy exploded — Adam Young ponders the life-altering powers of the frosting-filled cookies (sample line: "Wonder if I gave an Oreo/to a vampire in creepy show/Would he not act so undead/Would he thirst for milk instead?") And, in an era where most folks simply fast-forward through commercials thanks to the magic of TiVo, the "Wonderfilled" spot managed to stop and make people pay attention ... which, is nice and all for Young; though, to be fair, he's more interested in the message the ad conveys.

"They came to me with the idea of sharing wonder with the world, or making days brighter," he told MTV News on Monday (May 13). "And those themes are similar to what I'm drawn to, musically and lyrically."

Young said that the majority of the lyrics for the commercial were written before he even became attached to the project, and the whole process began more than six months ago ("There weren't really that many changes," he explained. "There was a line in there about Darth Vader. But I guess the people at Lucasfilm said 'No' to it.") And though some cynics may scoff at the idea of an artist scoring a commercial spot, he said that he was honored to be considered ... ...

Birdman Has A Rich Gang, But ‘Nothing Came Easy’

Birdman is a hustler at heart. Before partnering up with Universal Music in 1998, Baby built his Cash Money brand as an independent juggernaut, and none of the success that he's experienced over the past 15 years has softened his stance. Enter Rich Gang, Birdman's new rap collective that includes Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Meek Mill and Future just to name a few.

"First it's based on hard work, a grind," the Cash Money CEO began to explain of the crew when he appeared on "RapFix Live" on Wednesday. "I've been doing this half of my life, 22 years of my life — I'm 44 years old and I think it's just a symbol of hard work and it pays."

On June 25, Baby will drop his Rich Gang: Flashy Lifestyle compilation, and while the project will be released on Cash Money Records, it will feature music from non-YMCMB stars as well. "We have other artists like Future, who is not signed to us but a part of us. French, Ross, Meek and all these [guys] are friends that we rock with and call on," Birdman promised. "A lot of business we do don't necessarily have to be about money, it's about relationships and this is about people that we have relationships with."

The compilation's first single, boasts an all-star lineup including Weezy, Nicki Minaj, Mack Maine, Birdman and Future on the hook. Birdman, Christina Milian, Paris Hilton, Bow Wow, DJ Khaled and Detail all appear in the Hannah Lux Davis-directed video.

Of course the #1 Stunna appreciates the finer ...

Demi Lovato Has ‘Crazy Idea’ For Britney Spears’ ‘X Factor’ Seat

And then there were two. Right now, Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell are the only two folks sitting on the "X Factor" judges table after both L.A. Reid and Britney Spears parted ways with the series. So, what's next?

Well, Lovato, who is stopping by the MTV Newsroom on Tuesday for an MTV.com live stream at 3 p.m. ET, dished that there are some A-list acts in the running to join the show. Simon has even reached out to Demi for ideas. "Yes! He has! I'll like text him and be like 'I have a crazy idea!' And he's like 'Who? Talk to me!' And I'll like call him or whatever and we'll talk," she told MTV News on Monday (May 13) at the Fox upfront presentation. "I'm not letting you know any of them. You'll find out soon enough. We have to make a decision soon."

As it turns out, the sky's the limit when it comes to the names being tossed around. She added, "Simon is like 'Anything is possible.' Last year we had Britney Spears. That was incredible."

While Spears won't be back for more "X Factor" fun for the show's third season, her mentoring was felt by more than just the contestants before her departure. "What I learned from Britney is that you don't have to change. Her family, we laughed several times, 'cause our families are so similar. Our moms are super close now," she revealed. "And our dads are really similar. She has this southern down-to-earth family. And she's still a southern down-to-earth girl. I ...
