Anna Kendrick Excited For ‘SNL’ Debut, Has No Idea When It Airs

It seems like Anna Kendrick is going to do a killer job hosting "Saturday Night Live" this weekend — that's if she remembers the time and day it actually happens.

Several promos released for Saturday's show showcase Kendrick's musical skills, her comedic timing and her all-out confusion about exactly when the show takes place.

Kendrick is told by "SNL" cast member Taran Killam that since it's her first time hosting, she is given free rein to ask any questions she wants. Kendrick proceeds to ask several, quite alarming questions, all about what day the show airs, when it tapes and if it happens during the day.

Luckily, in the end, she figures it all out ... we think.

Now, one would probably assume that hosting the famed comedy show would be the most fun thing she could possibly think of doing on a Saturday night, right? Wrong. When asked what could be more fun than "SNL," the "Pitch Perfect" star rattles off several other things on her list: "Sumo wrestling in doughnut batter? A mansion full of monkey butlers? A tickle fight with puppies while I'm wearing a bikini made of bacon?" Kendrick replies, with Killam agreeing with the last one, crowning it the "fun winner."

In the other promos, Kendrick shows off her musical background, harmonizing with Killam, talking about their dreams and laughing hysterically at their own April Fool's joke, which had them putting unibrows and mustaches on past musical guests and hosts.

Kendrick will be joined by musical guest Pharrell this weekend, and it turns out she has a bit of ...

Want Another Wale And J. Cole Collab? It’s Coming

Wale released "Sunshine (Remix)," featuring Rick Ross and Common, on Monday night, and although the song — originally from June's The Gifted — didn't feature a new verse from Wale, fans can certainly expect some new rhymes before long.

In February, he tweeted that his fourth solo album, Album About Nothing, would hit stores in the fall. Though details on the project have been scarce, the wheels are in motion behind-the-scenes.

"I'm working a lot," the rapper told MTV News. "I'm doing a lot with J. Cole. I worked with DJ Premier so far. And I'm working with a lot of producers under my camp, Every Blue Moon."

In the months since Wale launched EveryBlueMoon.com in January, he's been working with visual artists and fashion designers, promoting the new imprint with the occasional #everybluemoon hashtag in his tweets.

"Every Blue Moon is my imprint," he explained. "It's not just for recording artists. We're collaborating with painters. I've collaborated with [visual artist] Jay West. He's not signed to me, but I've collaborated with him. We're gonna do a lot of stuff in the fashion world, as well. I'm working with my man Brock Korsan, he's A&Ring the project, along with Dallas Martin. And I'm doing a lot of things with Nicky Diamonds."

"I just wanna affect the culture and wanna be able to support young people with goals that aren't just limited to rapping and producing."

As for the "Sunshine (Remix)," the Maybach Music Group MC said that he initially planned to pen a new verse. "I really love what I said [on] the original version," ...

Is Drake Talking To Jay Z On ‘Draft Day’?

Drake's been feeling triumphant of late — something he made clear on his two recent releases, "Trophies" and "We Made It" — and his latest keeps that winning streak alive.

On Tuesday night, the rapper posted a new track, "Draft Day," to his blog, October's Very Own.

Over a soulful flip of Lauryn Hill's 1998 single "Doo-Wop (That Thing)," produced by Boi-1da, SkySense and Ducko McFli, Drizzy opens up with a hook where he shouts out Johnny Manziel and Andrew Wiggins — expected to be top picks in the upcoming NFL and NBA drafts, respectively — before jumping into his only verse.

Throughout, he weaves rhymes that both exude confidence and can be read as potential subliminal shots at other rappers. "I'm focused on makin' records and gettin' bigger/ Just hits, no misses, that's for the married folk," he says at one point. Beyond the face value of the rhyme as a baseball metaphor, it seems to double as a response to Jay Z.

Last week, Hov rhymed over "We Made It", which Drake remixed in December (it was originally Soulja Boy's song). On it, Jay calls out Drake by name: "Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk/ Silly me, rappin' 'bout sh-- that I really bought." That line was a response itself, to something Drake said to Rolling Stone in February: "It's like Hov can't drop bars these days without at least four art references," he told the mag.

Right when the track hit the Net, fans took to Twitter to debate whether or not there were ...

Kim Kardashian’s Bikini Video Teases Something ‘Coming Soon:’ What Could It Be? [Poll]

Kim Kardashian has been burning up her Instagram feed with sexy bikini shots from her family vacation in Thailand.

Following various poses on a boat and a video to Jhene Aiko's "Stay Ready (What a Life)", Kim posted yet another video.

The reality TV star uploaded a 15-second clip, which shows her swimming in a picturesque pool, emerging from the water and tossing her hair seductively. Tinashe's "Boss plays in the post, which is mysteriously captioned "Coming soon." So what could be "coming soon" from Kim? We speculate five possible things that Kim could be previewing in her latest Instagram videos.

Family Music Video
If you have been "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" over the past nine seasons, then you are most likely aware that Kendall and Kylie Jenner always shoot a family music video anytime they venture on their exotic vacations. Kim's post could be a possible scene.

Here they are back in 2012 in the Dominican Republic with their version of Notorious B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize."

Bikinis By Kim
Yes, Kim, along with her sisters Kourtney and Khloe, do have a Kardashian Kollection swimwear line for Sears, but there's a chance that Kim could be branching out on her own, or maybe with fiancé Kanye West, to start her own brand of bikinis.

"Bound 2" Round 2
Kim took a topless virtual road trip in Kanye's last music video, so it's quite possible 'Ye's leading lady could be going for a boat ride or a sexy swim in his next one.

Second Chance At Music
Remember that time back in 2011 when Kim released her ...

The Big Chill: ‘Frozen’ Continues To Dominate Billboard Charts

Spring has sprung, but you couldn't tell by looking at the Billboard charts, as the soundtrack to Disney's continues to chill at #1.

We're Running Out Of 'Frozen' Puns

For the third-straight week, "Frozen" tops the albums chart, selling more than 161,000 copies, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan. It also marks the soundtrack's eighth overall week at #1 ... and while "Frozen" still has a ways to go before it can break into Billboard's list of the most-successful movie soundtracks of all time, it's certainly beginning to warrant consideration.

With eight weeks atop the chart, "Frozen" now has the longest run at #1 since Adele's massive 21, which logged 24 weeks in the top spot in 2012.

"Frozen's" dominance is even more impressive when you consider that, once again, it beat out a bunch of big-name debuts to take the top spot: Last week, it was the likes of YG and Foster the People, this time out it's Shakira and, uh, Johnny Cash.

Shakira — Columbian hip-shaker's first album in nearly four years — opens at #2, selling nearly 85,000 copies, followed by the Man in Black's posthumous Out Among The Stars, which sold nearly 54,000. The rest of the Top 5 is rounded out by Memphis May Fire's Unconditional, which opens at #4 with sales of more than 27,000 copies, and Pharrell's G I R L, which sold another 25,000 copies to come in at #5.

‘Frozen’ Is About To Take Down ‘The Lion King’ For Chart Record

Look, we're as sick of ice puns as you are at this point. I mean, we've been writing this stuff all year already! But, seriously, is there anyone out there who can unseat the soundtrack on the Billboard 200 album charts?

Cold, Cold, Cold, Okay, Hot
Here's the thing: "Frozen" is one week away from passing "The Lion King" for the title of the longest run at #1 by an animated film soundtrack. The Lion King! With its fifth week in a row and 10th nonconsecutive week at #1, "Frozen" just keeps crushing the game, selling another 133,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan as it nudged past the 2 million mark.

The competition was not even close. Not even in the ballpark. Sure, Pharrell Williams' G I R L was up 18 percent and 7 spots to 29,000, but that was clearly not enough to get anywhere near Olaf and the gang.

Summer Swoon
After a strong (143,000) #2 debut last week
, Australian pop rockers 5 Seconds of Summer suffered a major drop-off for their She Looks So Perfect EP
. While they only slipped one spot to #3, the release shed 82 percent of last week's business on sales of nearly 26,000.

Welcome To The Club
Four albums will debut in the top 10, including Christian rockers MercyMe with Welcome To The New (#4, 26,000), metal act Black Label Society's Catacombs of the Black Vatican (#5, 26,000), R&B singer SoMo's self-titled second effort (#6, 23,000) and Martina McBride's Everlasting (#7, 21,000).

Nirvana Could Be Coming To Broadway

Nirvana might be soon joining the ranks of Green Day and Carole King, hitting the Broadway stage for a musical that tells the tale of the seminal Seattle grunge band and its tragic frontman, Kurt Cobain.

"After being swarmed by tons of Nirvana fanmail and social media posts pushing for a musical to become a reality, both Frances [Bean Cobain] and I have thought long and hard and agreed that if we can reach up to the highest shelf and select a team of the greatest and most respected writers, producers and directors, then a Broadway musical is very likely to happen," Courtney Love told NME in a recent memorial story about the deceased icon.

"It's really scary because I don't have an agent, and I really need a heavy-hitter who can protect me from it all," she said, opining that for a musical to happen "there would have to be a story, and a great story, one that hasn't been told before," and asserting that the production would be, in part, for her daughter.

According to Love, she has been swarmed by entertainment business top brass and hopefuls alike when it comes to projects like the play and upcoming biopic and documentary. "It I wanted to date nothing but under-30, blond, beautiful, tortured boys — all these pretending-to-be-tortured actor guys — then I could have them on my arm every night, because they all wanna play Kurt," she said.

As the 25th anniversary of Cobain's death, April 5, approaches, his presence has been everywhere — from a comic ...
