Chris Brown Letting Rihanna Do ‘Her Own Thang’

Are they or aren't they? Well, right now, Chris Brown has confirmed that he and Rihanna aren't currently dating — just weeks after they were photographed together.

The "Fine China" singer called into Australian radio show and shared that he was more focused on his birthday plans (he turned 24 on Sunday) than romancing the singer. He said, "I'm 24. I'm going to be in Vegas, so I really want to see as many girls as possible."

"Yeah, I'm a do it solo. I mean, at the end of the day, Shawty doing her own thang, she on the road. It's always gonna be love ... I'm just gonna do me. I'm a grown man, just gotta fast forward," he said on the show.

"At the end of the day, well, I just put it at this 'cause one thing I never want to do is never disrespect somebody," he later added. "The way I look at it is I'm always gonna love that person and people have differences and people have different wants and needs. I can't be focused on wife-ing someone that young. And I'm young too. And I can't focus on that. I need to be the best Chris Brown I can be."

Regardless of their current romantic status, Rihanna will appear on Brown's July 16 album release, X. Brown opened up to MTV News about the collaboration earlier this spring, sharing what fans should expect.

"So we did 'Nobody's Business' for her album, and then I wrote a song, it's called 'Put It Up.' ...

‘Iron Man 3’ Fans React To Controversial Twist

Even with incredibly positive word of mouth, near universal approval from critics, and an opening weekend box-office haul that put every other non-Marvel movie in history to shame, there's one part of that has audience members firmly divided. This is a change so big that finding it out now could potentially ruin your movie-going experience, so if you are one of the very few people who didn't shell out money to see Shellhead's latest adventure last weekend, look away now for this article has officially entered the Spoiler Zone.

After a daring raid on the Mandarin's Miami compound, in which Tony Stark puts his collection of Home Depot weapons to good use, Stark comes face to face with the mighty Mandarin, played by Sir Ben Kingsley. Or actually, he comes face-to-face with Trevor Slattery, a boozed-up, formerly homeless actor playing the role of the Mandarin in exchange for drugs and speed boats.

"[The Mandarin reveal] was very unexpected," says Mabel Rodriguez, summing up pretty much everyone's reaction to the plot point in one phrase.

The Mandarin has long been Iron Man's arch-nemesis, ever since he first fought Tony Stark in comics published in 1964. Because of ...

Mariah Carey Debuts A New ‘Texture’ On Miguel Collaboration ‘#Beautiful’

What happens when Mariah Carey and Miguel get together on some new music? Something

The new track, the lead single off Carey's 2013 album release, debuted on Monday (May 6), and it seamlessly combines her signature vocals with Miguel's groovy, sexy R&B style. It kicks off with a sultry guitar riff and some tambourine and from there it sears, with a beat that sounds like it was lifted off a Motown track.

The twosome trade verses about how they thrill each other on late-night motorcycle rides. The chorus is feels particularly Miguel-inspired as they sing, " 'Cause it's beautiful/ Ooh, you make me feel undressable / And I can't pretend / That doesn't mean a thing to me, to me / Oh, you're beautiful / And your mind is f---ing beautiful / And I can't pretend that/ That doesn't mean a thing to me, to me."

She called into Ryan Seacrest on Monday and explained why she wanted to hook up with the Grammy winner on the release. "I'm a huge fan of his music and as I think everybody's just so blown away by him right now," she said. "We got together. He had started writing this song with just the guitar riff. He's the truth," she said, before adding that she wanted the track to have "a texture that feels fresh."

Late last month, Miguel wouldn't confirm the rumors that he had hooked up with MC on this new track, but did share why he would want to work with her, if given the chance. He said, ...

Lauryn Hill’s ‘Neurotic Society’: Force The Hand, Get The Finger

Lauryn Hill doesn't do deadlines. A cursory glance at her career over the past decade proves that.

So when reports began circulating that she'd signed a $1 million deal with Sony — one that stipulated she release five new songs (and an album) — well, most folks probably rolled their eyes. But then, on Saturday, she up and released "Neurotic Society," her first bit of new music since leaked in 2010 ... and one couldn't help but think that perhaps Hill had changed her ways. Or maybe she was really hoping to avoid going to jail over her unpaid taxes.

You get the feeling it's more of the latter. Why? Well, for starters, there's the fact she's added a rather biting addendum — "Compulsory Mix" — to the title of her new song, which strongly suggests she was forced to release the track to fulfill some sort of contractual obligation. And as if that point wasn't quite clear enough, consider the note she penned to coincide with the song's debut, which read, in part:

"Here is a link to a piece that I was 'required' to release immediately, by virtue of the impending legal deadline. I love being able to reach people directly, but in an ideal scenario, I would not have to rush the release of new music."

So, yes, Hill was coerced into releasing the song, either by her new label, her legal woes, or both. But as she's proven time and time again, if folks are going to force ...

Beyonce Thinks Blue Ivy ‘Needs Company’

Beyoncé might be a superstar, with a thriving music and acting career, but no job is as important as being a mother to Blue Ivy. And she likes being it so much that she's thinking of the expanding the Carter-Knowles clan... someday.

"I would like more children. I think my daughter needs company. I definitely love being a big sister and at some point when it's supposed to happen. My biggest job in the world is to protect my daughter and I am very protective," she told "Good Morning America" on Monday (May 6). "I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life. I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love and now have a way bigger meaning, and that's to be her mother."

Blue Ivy joined her mama onstage Friday night during a tour stop in London. At the end of "Irreplaceable," BIC held Beyoncé's hand as she closed out the track. In a little dress and protective headphones, she got the room hyped just by standing there, proving she inherited the superstar genes from her parents.

In addition to kicking the "When will she have another kid?" rumor mill into high gear, Queen Bey also addressed all the criticism surrounding her anniversary trip to Cuba with Jay-Z. And instead of courting more controversy, she just brushed it all off her shoulders.

"You know, it was such a beautiful trip and I met some incredible children, visited some incredible entrepreneurs," she said. "I learned so ...

Justin Timberlake Reveals The 20/20 Experience Sequel Album, Solo Tour Dates

In keeping with the viral roll-out of his rebooted musical career, Justin Timberlake took to Instagram on Sunday to announce the release date for the second part of his The 20/20 Experience album.

In a photo of him playing guitar in a recording studio, Timberlake posted the information on a computer screen in the foreground that read, "The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) Sept. 30th." And, a month later, he will kick off a solo world tour in support of both albums, taking the stage on October 31 in Montreal at the Bell Centre. With more shows to be added later, the current slate of gigs include stops in Nashville, St. Louis, Las Vegas, Dallas, Orlando and Denver through February 10.

No track listing, or official title, has been announced for the 10-track sequel album, but Timberlake confirmed it was coming out during an interview
with Ryan Seacrest in March, saying, "Let me clear a rumor up. The news that this is only the first half of the album, that's true. That's all I'm going to say!"

After a six year break between new albums, this will be Timberlake's second new disc in seven months. The first 20/20 album debuted at #1 and fell just short of crashing the million mark when it sold 968,000 copies. It has moved more than 1.6 million copies in six weeks on the charts and has stayed in the top three the entire time.

Producer/songwriter Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon recent spilled a bit of information about the second album to Billboard, telling ...

Will Iron Man Return In Another Movie?

This article discusses the ending of "Iron Man 3" and its implications, so SPOILER ALERT.

You may have noticed something strange about the ending of "Iron Man 3," namely that it had one at all.

It's not the style of a superhero movie — especially ones that were predicted to take in between $150 and $175 million in their domestic opening weekend — to close the doors on its main character like "Iron Man 3" does with Tony Stark, but that's exactly what it did. He doesn't need the arc reactor anymore, and he destroyed all of his Iron Man suits. It's like if Batman burned down the batcave without finding a replacement at the end of "The Dark Knight Rises."

So what does the ending of "Iron Man 3" and the conclusion of Tony's story mean for Marvel Studios and the character's role in "Avengers 2"? Since the after-credits scene didn't toss out a tease for a future film, all the audience has to rely on is a vague text-on-screen promise that "Iron Man will return."

To that effect, Iron Man certainly will return in "Avengers 2," but "Iron Man 4" is far from a sure thing. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Marvel and director Shane Black made "Iron Man 3" the conclusion to a trilogy. The story of Tony Stark that started in a cave is now over, and so is, at the very least, this leg of Iron Man's standalone films.

n an interview with SuperHeroHype, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige explained what the near future ...
