Lil Wayne, Ke$ha Make ‘Jersey Shore’ Star Vinny ‘All Blotchy’

From shopping at the grocery store to spending a day at the park, when flipping through the pages of Us Weekly, we're constantly reminded how stars are "just like us." But have you ever imagined what it would be like to have your favorite celebrity over for dinner? If so, you're in luck, because in Vinny Guadagnino's brand-new television show, the "Jersey Shore" castmate does exactly that.

The Show with Vinny' is like a hybrid reality/talk show," Vinny said when he brought his family along for an MTV News interview. "Basically it's a show that shows the real side of people. It shows the human side of celebrities you don't always get to see."

The show, which premieres tonight (May 2) at 10 p.m. ET, features an array of A-listers as they break bread with Vinny and his very Italian family. And even though the MTV star has adjusted to his life in the limelight, bringing celebrities into the mix still makes the Staten Island native a little weak in the knees.

"I'm a fan of all these people, so when they come in the house I get really nervous," he said. "I'm like a fan ..."

"He does," his mom Paola interrupted. "He gets all blotchy,"

"Ma, stop," Vinny said. "I'm nervous like you would be nervous if Ciara walked into your house, or if Jenny McCarthy climbed into your bed that you grew up in. But what makes it a little bit easier for me is that my mom and uncle don't know who any of these people ...

will.i.am Didn’t Have Permission To Use Arty & Mat Zo’s ‘Rebound,’ Label Says

Last week, will.i.am responded to accusations that he had stolen a song from producers Arty and Mat Zo, telling the Associated Press that believed he had received permission to use their track "Rebound" on his #willpower album.

After hearing "Rebound," Will.i.am said he contacted Arty — real name Artem Stoliarov — via email, and the producer responded that he'd be interested in collaborating. Believing he had gotten the okay, will recorded a new version of the song to use on the #Willpower track "Let's Go," and pointed out that Stoliarov received a writing credit on the track. He also added that he was unaware that "Rebound" was actually the product of Arty and Mat Zo until fans began accusing him of ripping the producers off.

"You can't steal if you credited somebody," he told the AP. "He and I communicated. ... It's not my fault he didn't tell me about the other guy. So who is to blame? I didn't know.

"It's kind of wack the way this situation has turned out because it's undermined in a way -- not really, it hasn't -- but it's undermined my contributions to that world and my respect to that world," will continued. "Because the way they're painting it is not the way it is."

Of course, that's not the way Arty and Mat Zo's label, Anjunabeats, sees things. In a statement issued Thursday, they said own the master recording rights to "Rebound," and that they never gave will.i.am permission to use the song.

"A large section of 'Rebound' was sampled on will.i.am's track ...

Nicki Minaj Teaches Carly Rae Jepsen Breakup 101: Listen To Remix Now!

When Nicki Minaj breaks up with a guy, what does she do?

Certainly, she doesn't cry over a tub of ice cream (have you seen her bikini in the "High School" video?) or fall asleep at 8 p.m. watching a Kate Hudson movie. Maybe she'll go out to Club Liv with the Young Money crew or tweet her Barbz for advice. But Minaj's remix of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" gives us a different story... about finding a little peace.

"Tonight I'm getting ov-er, meditate and do my yog-er," the rapper spits on her 30-second takeover of the song. And although it's not something we'd expect from the lush-living, hip-hop princess, we don't put it past her to do a little self-reflection. After a breakup, she also raps that she'd take her Volv-er to the club with her Céline bag sitting pretty on her should-er.

"Nicki killed the verse, and it's great," Jepsen's manager Scooter Braun told MTV News last week, after listening to it on his phone. "When Carly Rae and Nicki get together, they make songs about getting over guys."

And Scooter has no doubt the track will kill it on the airwaves. "Whenever girls do songs about getting over men, they seem to do really well," he said.

This isn't the first time we've heard Nick team up with someone from Braun's Schoolboy records. Nicki gave Beliebers a bit of YM when she guested on Justin Bieber's "Beauty and a Beat" track in the fall with the same flow. "Buns out, wien-er, but I gotta ...

Kris Kross’ Chris Kelly Autopsy Complete

There are no signs of trauma or foul play in the death of Kris Kross rapper Chris Kelly, lending credence to reports that the 34-year-old died after he had taken a mixture of heroin and cocaine.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner completed an autopsy Thursday (May 2), but Kelly's official cause of death won't be determined until at least three weeks after the toxicology report is complete, a county rep told MTV News.

On Wednesday morning, hours before he died, Kelly took a phone call from Streetz 94.5 producer Akini. The Atlanta radio station released the audio online, and during the minute-long conversation, Kelly appears to be a bit out of sorts. "When you listen to the phone conversation, you can tell there is a lot going on in the background," Akini wrote on the station's website.

Police officers arrived at Kelly's home at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday in response to a report of a death. When paramedics arrived on the scene, they found Kelly lying unresponsive on his couch with "no life signs." He was transferred to Atlanta Medical Center South, where he was pronounced dead. According to the report obtained by MTV News, Kelly's mother, Donna Kelly Pratte, told officers that the rapper — who went by the name Mac Daddy — had taken a mixture of cocaine and heroin the night before, a concoction commonly known as speedballs.

In the report, Pratte is identified as "a close friend" of Kelly and said that she had brought him home to recover from his drug use and that he "had done ...

Ed Sheeran On Musical March Madness Trophy: ‘It’s The Biggest Award I’ve Ever Got.’

It's been more than a month since Ed Sheeran triumphed over Thirty Seconds To Mars in MTV's Musical March Madness tournament, and since then, he's celebrated his championship on an epic victory tour across North America (aka )

But what have we been doing? Why, forging his MMM trophy, of course. And after a month of toiling away in the foundry, on Thursday, we finally presented Sheeran with his hardware: a ten-pound muscle man, mid flex, that makes all other championship trophies seem puny by comparison. And, understandably, Ed was pumped to receive it.

"This is what I used to look like before I discovered burgers," he laughed, eyeing the bulging, bronzed pectoral muscles of his trophy. "It's the biggest award I've ever got!"

Of course, he owes his MMM victory to the fanatical support of his Sheerios, who guided him through the tournament, past 63 other acts, and helped shatter records for voting. So, ever the humble champ, he took a moment to thank them for helping him take home the title.

"Even though they've given the award to me, I didn't do all the coting, so thank you for voting and taking up so much of your time; I know it was quite intense, but this is all worth it," he laughed. "But I'm disappointed you kept his underwear on, he doesn't look like he's packing anything."

We'll admit, he's right: our trophy is big all over, just not in the pants (we suspect this is a side-effect of too much bodybuilding). But Sheeran's not ashamed; if anything, he ...

Adam Yauch To Be Honored With Brooklyn Playground, NYC Confirms

On Friday, May 3 — almost one year after he succumbed to cancer — late, great Beastie Boy Adam Yauch will be honored by his former borough of Brooklyn ... with a playground named in his memory.

The Palmetto Playground, located in Brooklyn Heights, will be renamed Adam Yauch Park, a spokesperson for the New York City Department of Parks confirmed to MTV News. A ceremony is set for Friday at 11 a.m., and will be attended by Beastie Boy Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz, Yauch's parents and family members, Brooklyn Borough president Marty Markowitz and state senator Daniel Squadron who last year penned a resolution that paid tribute to Yauch's many contributions to New York City.

"Adam Yauch grew up in Brooklyn Heights, on State Street, and learned to ride a bicycle in the park that will now bear his name," the Parks Department said in a statement. "A pioneer in the worlds of music, social activism and film, Yauch was not only a founding member of the Beastie Boys, but also established the Milrepa Fund that produced the Tibetan Freedom Concert benefits, and created the film-production and distribution company Oscilloscope Laboratories."

According to the Parks Department, Adam Yauch Park features both full and half basketball courts (fitting for the lifelong hoops fan who directed the 2008 doc ), plus a community garden, greenhouse, fitness area and a dog run, to name a few of the amenities.

‘Great Gatsby’ Stars Remember Their First Time … Reading The Novel

NEW YORK: The Jazz Age took center stage Wednesday (May 1), as the stars of Baz Luhrmann's glitzy — including Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan — walked the black carpet outside of Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall for the world premiere of their '20s-set film (which opens in theaters May 10).

Often considered one of (if not the) great American novel, the F. Scott Fitzgerald tale — about an enigmatic millionaire trying to win back his long-lost love — is a mainstay of high-school and college curricula, yet the manner in which the stars were introduced to the book are as many and varied as Gatsby's extensive shirt collection.

DiCaprio, like many, read the novel as a boy but found new meaning in it as a man.

"I had a connection with the character very early on, but not until I picked it up as an adult did I really understand the nuance or the complexity or the symbolism and the genius of Fitzgerald's work," he said.

Co-star Isla Fisher, who plays Myrtle Wilson, recalled a similar experience.

"I never read that much into it. I was a kid at the time," she said. "And then I re-read it as an adult, and obviously now I see Gatsby as this flawed, obsessed, arrested development kind of guy who's interested in the American dream."

Maguire, rather surprisingly, never read the novel as a young adult and only sat down to page through as he contemplated the role of narrator Nick Carraway.

"I just thought the book was unbelievable," Maguire said of reading it recently. ...
