Britney Spears Will Go Deep On New Album, will.i.am Vows

Britney Spears will be wearing her heart on her sleeve on her next album — if executive producer will.i.am has his way.

Spears' longtime pal has confirmed he will produce her next release and says he set up some strict ground rules with Team Spears before signing on to help shape the vision for the follow-up to Femme Fatale.

"I was like, 'OK, look, guys, me and Britney need to have lunch four times a month for three months before I even try to go in the studio with her.' Because we need to talk," he explained to Rolling Stone, noting that they have been meeting for nearly three months and recently clocked in studio time.

He continued, "We need to talk about what she's excited about in life. I gotta talk about the things that hurt her. I gotta talk about the things that make her concerned — she's a mother. I gotta talk to her about all the things that her fans want to talk to her about. I gotta be the vehicle between her and her fans. We can't do another song about going on the dance floor. Really? Didn't we see a bunch of Britney doing that already? Don't we want to see something that comes from her heart?"

With so few details confirmed about the release, will couldn't offer up any insight into when something might drop, but did say it's moving along. Hit-Boy, who is also attached to the project, shared that he wants to produce a "global sound." Additionally, will.i.am noted ...

Diplo And Skrillex Reveal Their Surprising New Group: Jack U

When Diplo released the lineup for his infamous Mad Decent Block Parties on Tuesday, he also revealed another important bit of news: He and Skrillex are now collaborating on a new project called Jack U.

When the highly anticipated lineup was released with the name Jack U alongside the likes of Flosstradamus, Dillon Francis, Riff Raff, Major Lazer and Big Gigantic, it opened up a pretty critical question: Who and what is Jack U? Diplo took to Twitter to address the inquiry: "Jack u ... Means skrillex+diplo together."

Although this musical project is a surprising revelation, the two super DJ/producers are far from strangers. They both recently spoke at the International Music Summit about electronic music and social media, and they debuted a YouTube video channel together earlier this year alongside master turntablist A-Trak.

The YouTube channel POTATO will be a platform for both video and audio premieres, as well as other original content. The DJs even quote MTV's original slogan in their press release: "You'll never look at music the same way again." Since Skrillex, Diplo and A-Trak are each the head of their own record label (OWSLA, Mad Decent and Fool's Gold, respectively), and there is the additional partnership of Jack U to add to their music repertoire, it seems POTATO will not be running out of quality programming anytime soon.

With the wild success and imagination of both producers' other collective musical projects behind them, fans will have to wait until their July 7 debut to find out what Skrillex and Diplo will sound like sharing ...

Lil Wayne Hospitalized Again For Seizures

Lil Wayne was back in a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday after suffering from another seizure. The 30-year-old Young Money boss, who revealed in March that he suffers from epilepsy,
was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital late Tuesday night by his bodyguards, according to TMZ.

Citing anonymous sources close to the rapper, the site reported that Weezy suffered a single seizure and was treated and released on Wednesday morning (May 1). A spokesperson for Wayne could not be reached for comment or confirmation at press time.

Wayne spent nearly a week in the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai in March after suffering multiple seizures. He called in to Los Angeles radio station Power 106 after his release and told DJ Felli Fel about his chronic condition.

"The thing is, man, the bad news is, I'm an epileptic, so I'm prone to seizures," he said. "This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures; y'all just never hear about it. This time it got real bad because I got three of 'em in a row, and on the third one, my heart rate went down to, like, 30 percent. Basically, I could've died soon. That's why it was so serious. The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself. That's typical me, though."
