It's a new dawn for the but not everyone is ready to join in on the pizza party just yet.
The heroes in a half-shell are returning to the big-screen in 2014 with "Ninja Turtles," directed by Jonathan Liebesman and produced by Michael Bay. Yes, the Michael Bay — the same man behind "Transformers," a highly lucrative series of films, but one that many longtime fans of the franchise didn't embrace. Bay's involvement in yet another beloved geek-friendly property has left several "Turtles" loyalists worried about the "Bayhem" to come.
But one of the stars of "Ninja Turtles" — Alan Ritchson, who plays cool but rude Raphael — says the director's detractors are in for a shock.
"People think they know what this movie is about," he told MTV News on the red carpet of the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. "But they have no idea. It's going to blow people away, guaranteed."
Ritchson said he relates to fans who grew up with the "Turtles" toys, cartoons and comics. "I grew up with it, too! When I heard about it, I was like, 'Oh, I don't know. Do I really want this? It's Michael Bay. He tends to be more popcorn than a lot of people like,'" he admitted. "But as soon as I saw the renderings they have for these characters, I knew how sick this was going to be."
"It's going to be huge," he said.
For Bay, "Ninja Turtles" isn't just another adaptation. It's also a reunion with his original "Transformers" leading lady, Megan Fox, who stars in "Turtles" ...

It's been nearly five years since Fall Out Boy's last album, and almost four since their now-infamous "hiatus." In that time, FOB's four members have released solo albums, experimented with electronics, and formed side projects ... but never seemed all that interested in getting the band back together.
Which is why the idea of Fall Out Boy reuniting — let alone recording a new album — seemed an impossibility. Only, in February, the impossible happened: FOB announced their return, kicking off a frantic, two-month scramble that has included triumphant shows, eye-catching music videos, and, of course, a brand-new record, Save Rock And Roll, which hits stores Tuesday. Comeback complete.
So, on a day many thought would never come, MTV News emailed FOB frontman Patrick Stump to get his take on the band's long journey back, the overwhelming reception they've received from their fans, and the success of their new album ... all of which he's still having a difficult time wrapping his head around.
"Not in a million years [did I expect this]. As I'm writing this, we have the number one album on iTunes and the number ten single," Stump wrote. "For a band that felt like a longshot the first time we got struck by career lightning to go away for a few years and sell records against powerhouses like Justin Timberlake ... If we expected to succeed on this scale? We'd be a--holes."
And that success is even sweeter, considering that there was a point when Stump believed Fall Out Boy was finished. It ...

Miley Cyrus is a former Disney princess who is quickly becoming the queen of collaborations. On Tuesday, she added another one to her growing roster of features when will.i.am released his new #willpower single, "Fall Down."
The tune is a bit cheeky and very party-ready. In addition to a signature will.i.am-approved club beat, it also has unexpected moments, like a whistle and orchestral samples. The album's latest single finds the Black Eyed Peas frontman and Miley in a bit of a lyrical love affair, with a fist-pumping chorus and lyrics like, "Boy, just be my lollipop/ Let me, let me lick you up."
"Fall Down" comes just weeks after she dropped her Rasta-inspired feature on Snoop Lion's Reincarnated track, Snoop told MTV News the partnership was a no-brainer, saying, "We're both going through transformation. We both love making music and doing what we do and speaking from our hearts, and it's just a great collaboration."
Proving that she's up for anything these days, she also recently partied with Tiffany Foxx and Lil' Kim in Foxx's . Fox told MTV News that she fit in with her crew perfectly. "It's crazy because she's so cool. She is so cool. It felt like I have been knowing her all my life," she said. "She's real ...

Eye-catching is just one of the words that could be used to describe Beyoncé's just-launched Mrs. Carter Show Tour. Queen Bey kicked off the jaunt on Monday night in Belgrade, Serbia, at the Kombank Arena. Not only did she bust out some of her biggest tunes, but she stunned the crowd in a number of dazzling, even provocative looks.
In photos taken at the show, Bey rocks any number of sparkly bodysuits, including a glowing black cat-suit and a sparkly Janet Jackson-inspired baseball cap (with cat ears!). But there's one look in particular that's sure to shock the BeyHive. At one point during the show, Beyoncé hits the stage in a gold-sequined bodysuit that accentuates her chest in a way that leaves very little to the imagination. While fans don't actually see anything, the bedazzled get-up makes it appear that the pop star's chest is on full display — with, well, erect nipples.
As for the set list making the rounds online, new tunes from Bey's highly anticipated album were noticeably missing. And while she has dropped the single and teased , she kept the set list to previously released jams on the first night of her tour.
According to a Just Jared report, Beyoncé begins the night with her anthem "Run the World (Girls)." From there, it's more hits from her solo albums, as well as a little Destiny's Child sprinkled in. "I just have to say, I'm so happy to be here tonight," she told her Serbian fans in a video posted ...
