50 Cent And The Lox Look Past Beef For New Animal Ambition Track

A picture of Jadakiss and Styles P with 50 Cent hit the 'Net last month, and it got excited hip-hop fans speculating about what it could mean. Now, the LOX rappers are explaining how they ended up in the studio with their former foe.

"It was always a mutual respect as a fan, just doing the same kind of music," Jadakiss said on Hot 97's "The Angie Martinez Show" of his relationship with 50.

"Before we ever met each other, we was fans of each other's music," he continued. "Then, whatever happened, happened, and then the whole theatrics of it make you seem like when we take a picture or sit in the studio, it's like an amazing thing, when it was really never even that serious. It gets blown out of proportion."

For a lot of fans, though, it was that serious: Some of New York's most celebrated street rappers — who exchanged vicious diss tracks earlier in their careers — were finally making music together? What would that even sound like?

Well, 50 gave MTV News a hint earlier this month when we spoke to him about his June 3 release, Animal Ambition.

"They don't know what to expect from it," the Queens rapper said of listeners' expectations. "What happened was, it was an idea to do a song with Jada, and I did it and I went to Yonkers to go get the record. I come to they 'hood and we just got a chance to kick it. All their homeys was around and everything, ...

YG’s My Krazy Life Iced Out Of #1 Debut By ‘Frozen’

Stop me if you've heard this one before: the soundtrack is the #1 album in country.

Yes, for the second-consecutive week (and seventh week overall), the 'track to Disney's record-setting smash sits atop the Billboard albums chart, selling nearly 202,000 copies — its biggest number to date — thanks to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan.

And while "Frozen's" icy grip on the Top 200 has been impressive, much like the NYC weather, it might not be thawing out any time soon: This week alone, the soundtrack not only beat out four debut albums to claim the #1 spot ... it sold more copies than all of them combined.

Olaf Ices Out The Competition

Yes, the rest of next week's top five is made up of new albums: YG's My Krazy Life opens at #2, selling nearly 61,000 copies, Foster The People's Supermodel bows at #3 with sales of 54,000 copies, Skrillex's surprise Recess comes in at #4 with sales of nearly 47,000 copies, and the Pretty Reckless' Going To Hell debuts at #5, with sales of 35,000 copies.

All solid first-week numbers, yet after crunching the numbers, the rest of the top five still came up nearly 5,000 copies short of matching "Frozen's" sales ... and that's been on the charts for 17 weeks now. Bow down to the Elsa and the singing snowman.

Pharrell, Rozay Hang Tough In The Top 10

The second-half of the Billboard top 10 opens with Pharrell's G I R L at #6, with sales of 34,000 copies and Rick Ross' Mastermindthe ...

Get ‘Lost In The Sun’ With Josh Duhamel: Exclusive Set Visit

Josh Duhamel, known for playing the good guy, had a blast filming "Lost in the Sun," getting to switch things up as an "S.O.B."

"I can safely say probably the best time I've had shooting a movie, because I get to play such a son of a bitch," Duhamel told MTV News' Josh Horowitz during our exclusive visit to the set, all the way down in (metaphorically) hot Texas.

Duhamel plays a small-time crook who kidnaps an orphaned teenager (Josh Wiggins) — it's no more Mr. Nice Guy for the actor.

"It comes very natural, which I'm not sure is a good thing or a bad thing," Duhamel said.

With his rugged, intimidating appearance, it seems he must have kicked a few asses for the role — however, in reality, Duhamel explains, "I get my ass kicked once or twice in this movie."

Duhamel shares most of his screen time with another Josh, Josh Wiggins, the young actor who plays the boy he kidnaps.

"He's looking for a connection," Wiggins explained, "which John is absolutely not. He's looking for a sense of normalcy."

It's only Wiggins' second big-screen role, but he more than held his own with the veteran actor. Duhamel was already granting Wiggins diva status, joking, "He's like, 'I got a big movie coming out at South by Southwest. I won't even remember this tomorrow.'"

Despite all the joking, the two clearly had some great chemistry, and said they will miss each other and the blistering Texas sun.

"I am sad that it's ending," Wiggins said. "It's bitter that it's ending, but it has been a ...

Justin Bieber, These Tattoo Experts Have Some Thoughts On Your Tats

Justin Bieber may think he's done with tattoos for now, but, well, that's what Kanye West said about stream-of-consciousness rants and look how that worked out (hint: it didn't).

Tuesday, Bieber announced on Instagram — after adding a few more pieces to his extensive tattoo collection — "Done with tats 4 a while ... Where I wanna be." Admirable restraint, Bieber, but I don't buy it.

As a person with more than a few tattoos (but far fewer that Biebs) I know this statement to likely be false. Tattoos are addictive and, well, there are still vast expanses of Bieber's flesh that have yet to feel the kiss of the needle. You will go back to her like an errant mistress, fair Biebs, we all do.

In anticipation of his inevitable backslide onto the tattoo table, I hit up Matty No Times of New York's illustrious Three Kings Tattoo and Rocky Rakovic, editor-in-chief of Inked magazine, to highlight Bieber's best ink — and offer up some suggestions for how he can improve his tattoo steez next time.

Because, come on, there will be a next time.

Bieber's Best Tats

1. The Knight And Castle

"The knight and the castle are really nicely done," Matty No Times told MTV News. "They are drawn well and executed well. The shading is smooth, there are varying line weights, which create shape and shadow in the armor of the king. This is a nice tattoo."

Perhaps the Biebs should stick with tats in the fairytale vein. Beauty and the Beat, anyone?

2. His Mother's ...

‘Avengers’ Set Photos: Iron Man’s New Armor Revealed

Details have been slowly leaking from the Italian set of "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Earlier this week, we got our first IRL looks at Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and a returning Hawkeye, plus a side view of Ultron's practical stand-in. But now more photos have surfaced of another returning Avenger and a better look at the sequel's villain.

In addition to the trio of Avengers making appearances in the early days of shooting, Iron Man was also spotted by photographers, and he's got a brand new suit of armor.

Oh, and he had sweat pants on.

Tony Stark's new armor doesn't stray that far from the design of the Mark LXXII from "Iron Man Three," but fans will notice more red featured in the color scheme, as opposed to gold.

But now the question is who — if anyone — is in the suit. The end of "Iron Man Three" had Tony seemingly leaving the suited life behind him and removing the shrapnel from his heart. It's pretty safe to assume that "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will put Robert Downey Jr. back in the armor, both normal-sized and Hulk-sized.

The more head-on look at the Ultron stand-in is sure to be a point of contention for hardcore fans. The warmly dressed double is clearly wearing a bust that will later be CGI-ed over for the final version of the villain, but his mask may be an indication of what Ultron will eventually look like.

The head is clearly modeled off of Ultron's look from the comic, especially in the metal ...

Kristen Stewart Dons Furs For Chanel, Or Is It For A New Movie?

Ever since Kristen Stewart scored a haute new gig as the face of Chanel's Spring 2014 Paris/Dallas collection, fans and fashionistas alike have been waiting anxiously for a peek at the campaign. And thanks to a teensy, unscheduled sneak preview from someone at Chanel, we've finally gotten our first look!

The photos, which briefly appeared on this Instagram account yesterday, have since been removed — but they were up for long enough to be grabbed by several enterprising newshounds, and for everyone to feast their eyes on K-Stew in the couture frontier fashions of the collection.

The eclectic campaign features cowboy boots, cropped jackets and cool textures, including a pair of giant fur sleeves that look like they were made from a yeti, with its leading lady sporting a cornrow-accented updo and a heavily-eyelined 100-yard stare. But is this just for fashion's sake? Or could Kristen be savvily, secretly playing dress-up in preparation to make a new film? Because in looks like these, she could totally be making...

A contemporary Western mafia flick
In that knotted tee and cow-hide boots, with a toothpick dangling casually from her mouth, K-Stew would be right at home as the villainous young minion of a Las Vegas-based crime family. Picture a lady Luca Brasi, lurking around a casino looking for things to enforce.

A Pirates of the Caribbean reboot in a frontier setting
If Captain Jack Sparrow had a little sister, and said sister traded in her high seas destiny to become a cowboy, baby, she might look an awful ...

‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Exclusive: Peter Parker’s Powers Revealed

Spider-Man's super-powers are fairly self-explanatory. He can sense when danger is coming. He can scale walls. He can swing around from rooftop to rooftop thanks to those homemade web-shooters. But there's more to the story than all that.

"He obviously has great strength," director Marc Webb told us in part two of our series of in-depth interviews with the superhero sequel's cast and crew. "But what's really great about Spider-Man are a few things that make him different from other superheroes."

What are those different things, you ask? Watch and read on:

The Empathetic Spider-Man
One of Parker's most important gifts is his ability to empathize with his enemies. Trailers and clips for have featured the masked hero trying to talk down Electro before resorting to violence. To hear Webb tell it, compassion is one of Spider-Man's greatest traits.

"There's an emotional component to the superhero," said Webb. "It's not even super-heroism. It's something we all can have, something we all have the capacity to have."

The Rescuing Spider-Man
Last summer's "Man of Steel" came under fire for the way the film depicted Metropolis' violent destruction, without allowing Superman to actually stop down and save the city's imperiled civilians. That's not a criticism that can be leveled at "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," according to Webb.

"Superman and Thor have great strength and they use that to great affect," he said. "But Spider-Man saves people."

The Helpful Spider-Man
Peter Parker doesn't just save lives. He's helpful in other, every day, lower-stakes ways.
