In Shawn Ashmore returns to the role of Bobby "Iceman" Drake for the first time since 2006's "X-Men: The Last Stand." And based on the newest trailer, which featured the debut of Drake's iconic ice-slide move, fans can expect cooler Iceman action than previous films allowed.

"In 'X3,' I turned into Iceman for the first time," Ashmore told MTV News in an interview earlier this month while promoting "The Following," his Fox TV series co-starring Kevin Bacon. "I had made ice-balls, and an ice-rose for Rogue at one point, but full Iceman mode [debuted in] the battle against Pyro in 'The Last Stand.' Fans can definitely look forward to more of that."

Ashmore teases that Iceman isn't the only original X-Man getting an action upgrade, too. According to the actor, "Days of Future Past" features a grander scale than ever seen before in an "X-Men" film, both in terms of the set pieces and the storytelling.

"The general scale of the storytelling is huge. It's massive. I walked onto some of the sets on the first day and it was the size of a football field. The whole set, you can interact on, like a battlefield, essentially," he said. "Now that we know these characters, we either love or hate them, depending on which side we're on. Now you can really open it up to bigger storytelling and bigger action because you understand these characters. There are higher stakes. You can put these people in danger because you care about them."

"The Voice" contestants put on their vocal armor for another round of battles Monday night (March 24) as they continued to fight for a spot in the next level of the singing competition.

Coaches Adam Levine, Shakira, Usher, and Blake Shelton sent out 12 more singers onto the battle stage to see who would ultimately represent their teams in the next stage of competition. But even in the midst of intense battle, Usher still found time to make a love connection on "The Voice" — even if just for one song.

Here's how night three of the battle rounds went down:

One Coach's Loser Is Another Coach's Steal
Usher lasted the first week of battle rounds without a steal — but that all changed when Shakira passed up on singer Ayesha "Music Box" Brooks. She was put up against 16-year-old Deja Hall, and though guest mentor Miranda Lambert feared Hall hadn't "found her full voice yet" at such a young age, the young singer held her own against the more experienced Music Box. Usher couldn't pass up on Music Box's "incredible" voice, and expressed his confidence in her "potential to go really far" in this competition.

Coach Levine sent out Dawn & Hawkes and Josh Murley to duke it out on the battle stage. Their performance of "Stuck in the Middle With You" was light-hearted with a "campfire vibe," all three singers wielding their guitars and hitting their airy and pleasant notes. When the singer lost to the duo, Shakira hit her steal button and gave him a second chance.

Two of young Hollywood's hottest young actors, Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort of will join the star studded line-up of presenters handing out golden popcorn during the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, which air live on Sunday, April 13 at 9 p.m. ET/PT from L.A.'s Nokia Theatre.

And before they take the stage, fans will get to see an exclusive scene from "The Fault in Our Stars during the 2014 Movie Awards Pre-Show, starting at 8:30 p.m.

Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort join host Conan O'Brien and previously announced presenters Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton. Academy Award-nominated actor and producer Mark Wahlberg will be honored with the MTV Generation Award, which will be presented the award by "Entourage" cast members Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Dillon. This will mark the first public reunion for the cast ahead of their highly anticipated movie release in June 2015.

Cody Simpson is taking a break from his to get back in the ballroom.

On Monday night (March 24), Simpson takes center-stage for his second week on where he's performing alongside partner Witney Carson.

"I have to learn the tango this week and the challenge for me is going to be to get inside the mind of this Latin dancer or ballroom dancer; it's not me at all," Simpson recently told MTV News of his routine during week two. "I'm very flat-footed because I surf and I've been trying to get on my toes and move my hips."

Simpson certainly moved his hips during the first week of competition as he impressed fans and the judges, scoring 22 out of 30 points. His score landed him in the middle of the star-packed lineup and should put him in a good position as tonight marks the first elimination of season 18. To determine which contestants leave the competition. (The hit ABC show combines scores from the judges and votes from fans, with the lowest-scoring couple going home.)

Simpson's opponents include Olympic gold medalists Charlie White and Meryl Davis; former child stars from "Full House" and "The Wonder Years," Candace Cameron Bure and Danica McKellar, respectively; and "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes. It seems like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are still on cloud nine over their much-discussed Vogue cover, but can you really blame them?

On Monday (March 24), Kanye took to Twitter to simply state that "Dreams come true," with a photo, shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, from the magazine spread showing him and his fiancée walking hand-in-hand along the Paris waterfront as they gaze longingly into each other's eyes. Not only does the photo, which Kim tweeted was one of her favorites," encompass a loving moment between the two, but it also shows off their impeccable style, with Kim wearing a white McQueen gown covered from head-to-toe in feathers and Kanye in leather pants, a black shirt and a long trench.

With the digital copy of the April issue available, some unreleased photos have been making the rounds, including a very complex photo of Leibovitz taking a photo of Kanye, who is taking an iPad photo of Kim, who is taking a selfie of her and daughter North West. So meta.

Vogue also released several official photos from the shoot, including one of Kimye looking into each other's eyes as Kanye wraps his arm around his future wife as they prepare to kiss. Richard Parry of Arcade Fire lost his head at a recent Connecticut show — quite literally.

Arcade Fire have been sporting some seriously heady costumes during their most recent tour — and in videos for tracks like — so it came as a shock to the band when one of the giant papier mache heads was yoinked after a show in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The head bears the visage of Parry, and the band has photos of the theft, but instead of handing them over to the authorities, they're merely asking that the costume piece be returned.

"This mask is a one of a kind piece that is an essential component to our live show," the band wrote in a statement. "Perhaps this is all an innocent mistake and you meant to leave the venue with your own oversized paper mache rendition of Richard Parry's head? Please contact: info@quest-management.com with any information."
