Color us confused. Gucci Mane is currently behind bars, as he awaits sentencing for weapons possession charges, but that’s not hindering his output — in any shape or form. His latest release from jail: A dis track directed at the Game (with some subtle shots at Jeezy’s CTE crew as well).

“This n—a Game definition of a rap n—a,” Gucci spits over the Zaytoven beat. “I’m not a lover or a fighter, I’m a trap n—-/ On Twitter talkin’ about you wanna scrap n—-a?/ Well I’ll knock you out and drag you to the trap n—a/ The real deal Holyfield CTE killer and I can’t lie I done rocked a lot of Cali n—-s.”

It’s more than likely that Gucci recorded this track before he was locked up, and just decided to save it for a rainy day. Earlier, we got a glimpse of Game in Nicki Minaj’s upcoming video for “Pills N Potions,” so the timing is certainly interesting here.

And when he’s not dropping dis tracks, Gucci is releasing full albums and announcing more album release dates — all from jail.

Nicki Minaj has already shared the lyric video for “Pills N Potions,” and during a visit to “Good Morning America” on Friday (June 6), the YMCMB rapper premiered a short teaser for the full clip, which is coming very soon.

We want to celebrate the fact that Nicki is sans wigs, wild costumes and crazy colorful makeup in this new video, because her natural look is just perfection.

In the 47-second snippet, we learn that the Game plays her love interest in the video and apparently they met for the first time on set. Not a bad way to start a friendship.

The Miami Heat lost to the San Antonio Spurs in round one of the NBA Finals on Thursday night, but Rick Ross is still celebrating a potential championship for his team with “Finals 2.”

The song is a sequel to his 2011 release and the new cut includes features from Wale, Rockie Fresh, Gunplay, French Montana and Fat Trel. Ross, a Miami native, is obviously a Heat fan and as such he’s predicting a big win for LeBron and team this year. “It’s the finals and my dogs came to take it all,” Rozay spits over the D-Rich beat, before Wale spits his verse.

Ross dropped his Mastermind album back in March.

If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a Nicki Minaj show, right before she hits the stage, this video will give you a better idea. The YMCMB rapper shared a vlog chronicling her experience at Hot 97′s Summer Jam concert last weekend, where she took the stage with Drake, Lil Wayne, Young Thug and more.

In addition to schmoozing with the boys and running down her setlist before showtime, Nicki also got in a lil twerking — until choreographer Laurieann Gibson stepped in and demanded that she get focused. But that’s all a part of the show isn’t it?

We also get to see Nicki practice a few of her lines and share some hugs with Lil Wayne, Birdman and even Rihanna, who all kicked it backstage.

Are there wedding bells in Nicki Minaj’s near future? The YMCMB rapper has remained mum about her dating life since she rose to fame, but apparently she has some things in mind, for when the big day finally arrives.

In an interview with In Touch Weekly, Nicki revealed that her wedding would have to involve a tropical climate. “I’d want it to be on a beach somewhere, like Turks and Caicos,” she said.

And, there will be many costumes changes. “I’m gonna have 10 [dresses],” Nicki revealed, before changing her mind and adding, “OK, maybe more like three — a big princess dress, something short I can dance in at the party and then an Alexander McQueen gown that’s sexy and figure-hugging.”

Back in March, the Queens rapper sparked engagement rumors when she posted some vacation photos of herself sporting a diamond band on her left hand. Her longtime friend and rumored boyfriend, Safaree “Scaff Beezy” Samuels, was wearing a matching band — and they were awfully close in the photos — but that’s as far as the story goes.

When video footage of Justin Bieber’s offensive racial joke leaked earlier this week the pop star blamed the screw up on his age, explaining that he was only 15 years old at the time. But when a second video leaked, with footage of him replacing “One Less Lonely Girl” song lyrics with the “N-word” Bieber had some more explaining to do.

Lil Wayne and other members of the YMCMB camp have come to his defense after the second clip surfaced, but Lupe Fiasco isn’t letting him off so easy.

When asked his thoughts on the uproar over Bieber’s racist joke, the Chicago rapper said that excuses were being made for the pop star, while former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling was taken to task for his racially-insensitive comments and feelings about black people attending his basketball games.

“Justin Bieber said it [so] it’s cool, and people are already coming to his defense,” Lupe told MTV News, in disbelief.

“I don’t think anybody should be allowed to profit off racism,” he continued. “Donald Sterling made a billion dollars [when] he sold the team, and there was such an uproar about somebody who didn’t use the N-word at all, but then you have somebody who made a very racist joke about it — I wonder if Justin Bieber’s gonna get the same treatment as Donald Sterling?”

“I don’t think he will,” Lupe said, answering his own question.

Don’t talk to Migos about the origin of the “Migos flow,” because they’re not interested in any theories that it was influenced by other artists. Earlier this month, the Atlanta rappers lashed out at 2 Chainz for saying that the style originated from Three 6 Mafia, and the trio aren’t ready to apologize.

“Actually I just seen on Instagram that they looking for ['the Migos flow'] in the bottom of Africa,” Quavo joked. “So [2 Chainz] can’t determine the origin. I seen researchers looking for it in Africa right now.”

On his Freebase track “Trap Back,” 2 Chainz rapped, “Look at my car, how did it get on dem sixes/ This flow come from Drizzy, he got it from Migos, they got it from Three 6.”

When Migos got wind of this, they hurled some insults his way on Twitter, and this week they told MTV News that they felt disrespected — despite the fact that 2 Chainz didn’t seem to mean any ill will.

“He just mentioned Migos’ name, and as a supposed OG in the game, we feel like you’re supposed to be giving us knowledge and respect us, instead of doing that,” they said. “That ain’t how we rock, we just don’t rock like that.”

When asked if they considered that 2 Chainz didn’t mean any disrespect, or if they were Three 6 Mafia fans, and might’ve been influnced by the group, their stance was clear.

“We not talking about Three 6, we talking about what 2 Chainz ...
