This Guy’s Mugshot Will Crack You Up, And Not Just Because Of His Mustache

by 20 mins ago

Police busted 19-year-old Robert Burt of Pittsfield, Maine back in June for operating a vehicle under the influence and driving without a license. After the arrest, one of Burt’s [funny] co-workers decided to haze him by screen-printing the mustachioed mugshot on an orange T-shirt with “Burt Family Reunion 8/8-8/10/2014” and “sponsored by Bud Light and Somerset County Sheriff” below it. The “family reunion” bit is a reference to a member of Burt’s family who is currently incarcerated.

Fast forward to last week. Young mister Burt had to serve two days in custody after copping a drunk driving plea. Guess what shirt he wore to Somerset County Jail…

Upon his release from prison, Burt declared on Facebook, “I’m out bitchs.” He soon afterward changed his profile picture to the now-infamous photo.

However, before jumping in, you need to make they’re actually for hire. Several people have been hopping into strange people’s cars, mistaking them for Uber when they’re not.

Valleywag’s Nitasha Tiku spoke to Tech Investor Ashwin Deshmukh, who said, “Basically anytime I’m pulled over on the side of the street, someone tries to hail me or just opens my car door…If I pull-up at a food truck in Williamsburg, there will be four guys asking, ‘Can you take us to Long Island?” According to Deshmukh, “The best line so far is, ‘Are you Uber? Well can you just be, can we go?’”

This is sadly not a drill or a joke. Here are some other incidences where innocent people have been mistaken for Uber:

It’s a crazy world out there, folks. Buckle up, lock your doors, and don’t drive with strange people, okay?
