Bella Thorne Is A Mean Girl Murder Suspect In This Sneak Peek Scene From ‘CSI’

by 14 mins ago

We’ve watched Bella Thorne sing, dance, hone her comedy chops with the likes of Adam Sandler and Steve Carell, and even break down the dos and don’ts of texting, but it’s pretty safe to say that we’ve never seen the Disney starlet quite like this before. Thorne is set to play a mean girl bully slash murder suspect on next Sunday’s (October 19) episode of “CSI,” and based on this sneak peek video, we kind of think she’s guilty:

In the video, which was exclusively debuted by Yahoo, Thorne is seen tormenting her classmate for being a “tech geek.” However, that’s not even the worst part — the whole thing ends with an explosion, followed by an unfortunate teacher running down the hallway, completely engulfed in flames. Could Thorne possibly be guilty? You’ll have to wait and see!

A Two-Headed Woman Sang Fiona Apple’s ‘Criminal’ On ‘American Horror Story’: Watch

by 12 mins ago

Last week’s episode of “American Horror Story: Freak Show” featured a killer cover of David Bowie’s “Life on Mars” from Jessica Lange, but the series’ second episode, “Massacres and Matinees,” took things even further — all the way to 1996, to be exact.

Sarah Paulson’s two-headed twins Bette and Dot (well, Dot, with a little bit of help from the tone-deaf Bette) took on Fiona Apple’s MTV VMA-winning song “Criminal,” and after watching their take it’s pretty safe to say that we’ll never need to hear the one-headed version of this song again:

Beginning on January 1, 2015, Netflix will officially have every single episode of “Friends” — that’s 236, if you like math — available via its streaming service, so that Phoebe, Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, and even Joey can come visit you in your spacious Manhattan living room whenever you damn well please.

This is obviously life-changing news, so we thought we’d help you sort out your emotions the only way we know how — with GIFs. Here are the 7 stages of accepting that “Friends” is coming to Netflix:

1. First, honestly, there’s a little bit of stress. How are you going to find the time to watch so much “Friends” when there’s work, school, and “Gilmore Girls” already taking up so much of your time?

2. Then, after some deep breathing, there’s acceptance — you realize that this is great news, and that everything is going to be fine.

3. So you start looking back at all of your favorite “Friends” moments, and come up with a list of episodes that you need to watch first.

4. Then you call all your favorite, well, friends, and start planning a viewing party for January 1st.

Here’s Why Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘X-Men’ Scenes With Nicholas Hoult Were Cut

by 35 mins ago

Fans of the dynamic relationship between Mystique (Raven/Jennifer Lawrence) and Beast (Hank McCoy/Nicholas Hoult) in 2011′s “X-Men: First Class” might have been a bit disappointed by last summer’s sequel “X-Men: Days of Future Past” — since the film jumps around between decades and focuses on a plethora of characters, the two former lovebirds don’t really get a chance to interact.

However, when Hoult sat down with MTV News to discuss his latest film “Young Ones,” he quickly shut down the rumor mill by letting us know that there were some juicy scenes shot with his real-life ex, they just happened to hit the cutting room floor.

“There were another couple of scenes which got cut, because they didn’t work technically in terms of the geography of how the movie played out in the end,” Hoult said. “Why [Mystique and Beast] would be here — when the world is about to end — and then we’ve nipped home quickly to have a good night’s sleep. Everyone was like, ‘well, we can’t really do that.’ So there were a couple of extra scenes which got cut, unfortunately.”

Bummer! But don’t give up on those bright blue babies just yet — according to Hoult, 2016′s “X-Men: Apocalypse” might pay more attention to that unfortunately neglected relationship.

“I think they’ll try and figure out a way to develop it more in the next one,” he concluded.

“X-Men: Days of Future Past” is out on DVD and Blu-ray on October 14.

‘The Originals’ Star Phoebe Tonkin Tells Us Why Hayley Is Pumping The Breaks On Elijah

by 25 mins ago

Last week on the season two premiere of “The Originals,” Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and co. murdered the vicious Guerrera Werewolf family, quickly and effectively wiping out a threat that dominated the last few weeks of season one. However, when MTV News caught up with Tonkin last week, she made it clear that the werewolf arc on the show has only just begun. In fact, tonight’s episode, “Alive and Kicking,” will find Hayley trying to reconnect with her bayou-dwelling clan, who will play a much larger role in season two.

“We start to look at exactly where all of these werewolves started, all of the packs, how they all came to be close,” Tonkin said in a phone conversation. “We start to learn about the arranged marriage between Jackson and Hayley that was talked about very briefly in the first season. We definitely get to see a bit more of the werewolf side in season two, it’s not just the vampires and the witches.”

Of course, this union might now be in jeopardy — and not only because Hayley’s heart seems to lie with a certain brown-haired Original vampire. According to Tonkin, her new-found vampirism won’t go over too well with her former wolf pack.

“Technically now she’s an enemy [to the werewolves],” Tonkin continued. “She tries to remain as close to the werewolf in her [as she can] because she wants them on her side, she wants them to stay loyal ...

Luke Evans Tells Us Why ‘Dracula Untold’ Needed To Be Told

by 4 mins ago

You think you know the story of the world’s most famous vampire (who was not played by Robert Pattinson), but you have no idea. “Dracula Untold” hit theaters this weekend (October 10), and the film’s star Luke Evans explained to MTV News why the fanged one’s story was the perfect tale to launch Universal’s monster movie franchise.

“It’s the untold story of this most famous literary vampire,” Evans said. “We know about the Bram Stoker story — this man, this creature, lives in Transylvania in a castle, but what we don’t really know so much about is how he became that creature.”

Indeed, “Untold” takes an entirely new spin on Dracula’s story, combining it with the real-life tale of Vlad the Impaler.

“He’s the man that inspired Bran Stoker 400 years later to write the story of Dracula,” Evans continued. “We start with a human story, about this man who is a father and a leader and a king and a husband — a loving husband — who has a very dark past, who is now fighting for the safety of his family and his people. It’s a very human story, which has never been done before.”

“Dracula Untold” is in theaters now.

‘Doctor Who’: Foxes Reveals The Secrets From Inside The TARDIS

by 21 mins ago

If you were wondering why that brunette bombshell singer from the latest episode of “Doctor Who” looked a lot like the brunette bombshell singer that won a Grammy with Zedd for “Clarity,” it’s because it is the brunette bombshell singer that won a Grammy with Zedd for “Clarity.”

The British singer Foxes makes her small-screen acting debut on the October 11 episode of “Who,” a Companion-lite episode called “Mummy on the Orient Express,” and MTV News spoke to the singer to get the straight scoop on what that (obviously mind-blowing) experience was like:

MTV News: So first off, how did this experience come to pass? Were you a fan of the show growing up?

Foxes: It’s funny, I was, I was a bit of a geek. My grandma and my family growing up were fans of the show. It’s so iconic, it really is one of those family shows.

I was doing a gig in Liverpool. Behind me, it was a BBC conference, and there was some kind of “Doctor Who” event going on. I sneaked back after sound check, and I knew that my family were fans of the show, so I started talking to these guys. Little did I know they were the producers. I was like, “I love ‘Doctor Who!’ I’m doing a show, you should come watch it.”

Then they all came to watch the gig, and two weeks later, I got a call out of the blue. [Producers said] “Hey we watched the show, and we’d love you ...
