Those “severed crossed fingers” have really paid off for Annie Clark — after years of releasing glowing, yet twisted tunes as St. Vincent, a duo of dreams have been manifest.
First, St. Vincent shredded at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, busting out a cover of Nirvana’s “Lithium” with the remaining members in honor of their induction.
Now, she’s primed to play “Saturday Night Live”‘s season finale on May 17, an honor she calls a “dream come true.”
Check out the video below for more of Clark’s thoughts on the experiences.
Oh, bonus! She told us what she will be performing on “SNL” — “Birth In Reverse” and “Digital Witness.” Singing about TV ON TV? How meta.
