Early Monday morning (September 1), Riff Raff sent out a tweet suggesting he may have a major collaboration on the way.

But then, shortly after that tweet, Riff dropped a new song — featuring Action Bronson and produced by the Alchemist, though with no sign of Justin Bieber or Drake.

Though it has been widely credited on the Internet as being titled “Rookies of the Future,” based on the chorus, the credits, and a subsequent Riff tweet, it seems like today’s release was in fact “Blue Jays.”

“I put my money in my cash box, tryna see a better day/ I coulda played for the Blue Jays/ Ballin’ in a major way,” Jody Highroller sings on the hook.

So, what does this all mean for the star-studded collab that was teased in the initial tweet? Good question.

Drake is from Toronto, which is where the Blue Jays play, and is in Ontario, which is where the Biebs is from. Just sayin’.

Maybe a remix is on the way?

Tension between T.I. and Floyd Mayweather first became publicized during a brawl back in May, in an incident that reportedly had to do with an alleged relationship between the boxer and the rapper’s wife, Tiny.

On Monday (September 1), the Grand Hustle CEO released a remix of “Am I Wrong,” by Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz, as part of DJ MLK’s new mixtape, Goodnight Don’t Exist In ATL, and it sure sounds like Tip takes a little time out to address situation between him and Mayweather.

“Check my record, n—a, never have I backed down/ Really undefeated in the real world, clown,” he raps at one point; Mayweather, of course, is undefeated in his boxing career.

Though Floyd has denied having any kind of intimate relationship with Tiny — “I’ve never slept with her, I never kissed her, never touched her in no inappropriate way,” he said in May — T.I. goes on to rhyme about a love triangle that sounds similar to what is rumored to have gone on between the three.

“Sucka, if I got a woman and you touch her/ She supposed to stay with you if you a bad motherf–ker/ She come back to me/ As far as I can see/ You all she really needed to see what she wanna be,” he boasts.

Every now and then, a song catches fire to the point where a whole gang of rappers can’t help but drop their own versions. This summer, “No Flex Zone” has been that hit — but there can only be one official remix, and it dropped over the holiday weekend.

Nicki Minaj and Pusha T each released remixes of the track earlier this summer, and the official remix pairs those together along with some new bars from both of the fellas from Rae Sremmurd. There Mike Will Made It-produced beat remains — although it does take a bit longer to drop at the beginning of the song — which makes perfect sense, since the catchy production and innovative flows helped the single catch fire.

With no changes to the Young Money rapper’s verse from her original remix, that means we’re still in “the ‘You Can’t Beat Nick’ zone,” as she raps at one point.

Hard to argue with that.

Blood, New Jersey and the possibility of Lena Dunham behind the lens? Bleachers‘ Jack Antonoff has us way intrigued with his plan for the band’s second music video, which he says will be shot “really soon.”

Antonoff sat down with MTV’s Christina Garibaldi right before the VMAs at the Taco Bell & MTV Artist To Watch concert in L.A., where he teased us with some details about his upcoming video. On whether or not his girlfriend Dunham will return to direct the next effort — she directed the therapy-themed “I Wanna Get Better” — Antonoff joked, “I can’t get a hold of her.”

On Sunday (August 31) several reports of allegedly leaked nude photos of celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, Ariana Grande, Kate Upton and many more began to surface. The photos were said to have been acquired and leaked by the message board/unsavory internet community of 4chan, which has been known for conducting cyber sabotage of varying levels in the past.

Jennifer Lawrence’s publicist confirmed the veracity of her nude photos to Buzzfeed.

“This is a flagrant violation of privacy,” a spokesperson for Jennifer Lawrence told Buzzfeed via email. “The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”

The photos were reportedly obtained through an iCloud leak that allowed hackers to access celebrities’ phones, and they were posted on a 4chan thread in an attempt to earn bitcoins. MTV will not link to the thread itself.

There is supposedly a master list of celebrities that the user has nudes of, including people like Rihanna, Aubrey Plaza, Selena Gomez, Kate Bosworth and more. Screenshots of the supposed master list can be found here.

One of the affected celebrities, Victoria Justice, has tweeted that the alleged leaked nudes of her are fake:

After several days worth of reports that icon and comedian Joan Rivers was in stable condition following a vocal chord procedure gone awry, new details paint a slightly different picture as to the star’s health. TMZ is reporting that Rivers’ is currently on life support, though her family remains hopeful for signs of improvement.

This updated report comes after news that the comedian was in stable, and then critical, condition following what several outlets are reporting to be a cardiac arrest that occurred sometime during her vocal chord surgery last week. Other reports simply state that Rivers stopped breathing.

Deadline has official word from Rivers’ daughter Melissa, who claimed nothing more than a “serious condition” status, adding that “[the family's] fingers are crossed.” The younger Rivers also thanked fans for the outpouring of thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time.

On Friday, Melissa Rivers released the following statement to Deadline:

“My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world. Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery.”

By Saturday, neither Rivers’ family nor Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York had any official updates on her well-being, but various outlets claimed varying confirmation of her status. USA Today reported Rivers was in a medically-induced coma after going into cardiac arrest during ...

The emptiness in our lives since the singer deleted her account/had it suspended has been palpable, which is probably why she decided to bless us with some cameos in her friend’s Insta videos this weekend.

Awwww! Volcanoes are having a moment right now (what with two of them going off around the world at the moment), but this one’s likely the only one to melt your ever-loving heart with love (rather than, y’know, incinerating it with fire and ash). Naturally, it’s not so much a real one as a Pixar animated one, but still: a little bit of adorable, personified cuteness never hurt anybody, right?

“Lava,” as the short is titled because of course it is, introduces us to a lovesick volcano named Uku who only wants to find another volcano, and in turn, love. As the days turn into nights and continue to add up, his one dream remains true: he wants to find somebody to love-ah. Lava, love-ah: get it? Adorable freaking puns are adorable.

Yesterday, (August 30) Kid Cudi fainted while performing at the North Coast music festival in Chicago. Cudi had been performing “Pursuit Of Happiness” and walking through the photo pit to talk to fans. But after stopping to sign one autograph, he collapsed. Luckily, security was right there to help him up and directly provide medical assistance.

A fan happened to be shooting a video at the moment and caught the incident on camera. (Note: The sound is very distorted and loud on this video, turning down your volume first is recommended.)

After he was taken to get medical assistance, Cudi took to Twitter to address the situation. First off, Cudi tweeted to let his fans know he was fine:

Then, he thanked everyone for coming out and caring about him. “To everyone who f—ing came out tonight, wow. All the love, Just way too overwhelming,” he wrote. “Blessed to have fans who actually give a f–k about me,” he wrote in his next tweet.

Then, he explained the situation.

He closed out the series of tweets by affirming his love for the Chi and tweeting: “I love you Chicago. Don’t you forget that sh-t. Ever.”

And he apologized if any of his fans were upset about the scare.

You don’t have to apologize to us Cudi, we’re just glad you’re okay! Stay healthy Cudder.
