Avril Lavigne Becomes Marilyn Manson’s ‘Bad Girl’ On Naughty New Track

If anyone thought a collaboration between Avril Lavigne and Marilyn Manson would be tame, they were very much wrong.

Their track, off Lavigne’s self-titled November 5 album, has hit the Net. It’s naughty, to say the least. Lavigne previously opened up to MTV News about “Bad Girl,” sharing that it is “one of the heavier, more darker tunes on this record.” And she wasn’t lying.

The track opens with ’90s shock-rocker Manson snarling, “Just lay your head in daddy’s lap/ You’re a bad girl.” A rock beat kicks in and Manson continues to groan as Lavigne dishes out some eyebrow-raising lyrics.

“Hey, hey, I’ll let you walk all over me/ You know that I’m a little tease/ But I want it pretty please/ You know I’m crazy/ I just want to be your baby,” she sings. “You can f— me, you can play me/ You can love me, you can hate me.”

Avril continues to flex her edgy muscles on the chorus. Be warned: she may have previously sang about never wanting to grow up, but Lavigne’s all adult on this song. “Miss me, miss me/ Now you want to kiss me/ Choke me because I said so/ Stroke me and feed my ego/ I’ve been a bad girl, don’t you know,” she sings as Manson commands, “Don’t tell me what to do.”

Lavigne’s real-life hangout sessions with Manson are just as wild, she told us.

“I had wanted to shave the side of my head for quite some time, and I used to put it in a braid there [side of her head] and so it was kind of like shaving it,” Lavigne recalled. “And then one night, it was on my adventure to France. During my adventure when I was living there, we were hanging out backstage and we were with his band having a few drinks and I was like, ‘Let’s shave my head. I’m ready; let’s do this!’ He’s like that, though. He has fun. He wears his makeup; his wardrobe is very visual. I like his style.”
