Avril Lavigne Gives Winnie Cooper A ‘Rock N Roll’ Makeover: See A Sneak Peek!

Avril Lavigne has given Winnie Cooper a makeover! The singer has enlisted former “Wonder Years” actress turned New York Times bestselling author and mathematician Danica McKellar to star alongside her in the “Rock N Roll” video, which she shot Thursday.

In a photo posted on Twitter, McKellar — best known as the crush of Kevin Arnold (played by Fred Savage) on the late-’80s coming-of-age sitcom “The Wonder Years” — looks quite comfortable all done up like Lavigne. Lavigne shared, “My partner in crime @danicamckellar on the set today of my music video for #ROCKNROLL… Thank you @danicamckellar for acting in my video. You are beautiful and so sweet. McKellar added, “Just had the best time shooting @AvrilLavigne’s new video. And she is so sweet and fun! Made me feel like a rock star.”

“Rock N Roll” is the second single from Lavigne’s upcoming album, slated to drop in September. She also worked not only with her hubby, Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, on her album, but also with Marilyn Manson.
